Stroud FD 8000 DK 8100 Opponent DENProj Points FD - 21.18 DK - 21.18 Another week, another chance to play CJ Stroud who has been one of the truly cool stories in the NFL this season. The 2nd overall pick is going to win Rookie of the Year and was even flirting (albeit prematurely) with the MVP odds as well. Now he’s a home favorite against the Broncos who, while better of late, still rank 25th in average yards per pass from opponents this season. This game has the second-highest total on the slate and for good reason. The Texans have been in shootouts and are clearly happy having Stroud sling it in games. The price has climbed with the performance so he is no longer a bargain. But he has a high floor all things considered. Kenny Pickett FD 6700 DK 5100 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 16 DK - 16 I can’t even believe I’m writing this but I think you need to take a strong look at Kenny Pickett in cash games on DraftKings this week. There is a lot working in his favor. For starters, in the first game without Matt Canada as OC in Pittsburgh, the Steelers put up over 400 yards of offense, something they hadn’t done, well, at all. Pickett threw 33 passes, going for 278 yards and scrambled five times as well. With the offense having a new look and the matchup against a Cardinals defense that’s among the worst in the league, rostering him at $5100 on DK is a (gasp) safe play. Running Back Zack Moss FD 5600 DK 4600 Opponent TENProj Points FD - 18.96 DK - 20.19 Jonathan Taylor is going to miss significant time with the bad thumb injury and that should but Zack Moss all the way back in the feature role for the Colts. Go back to Week 5 when Jonathan Taylor was just coming back and we saw Moss play 80% of the snaps and carry the ball 20 times with two targets. And the weeks before that it was roughly the same story. Moss was the guy and the Colts were fine leaning all the way in on his usage. That should be the case here against the Titans and the price isn’t anywhere close to where it should be for the opportunity. He is likely the highest-owned player...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Trae Young FD - $9600 DK - $9700Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 50.73 DK - 54.72 Dejounte Murray FD - $7900 DK - $8200Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 41.75 DK - 44.36 We could see a lot of ownership from this Hawks-Spurs game for a few of different reasons, all of which we will get into here. For starters, playing the Atlanta backcourt of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray could be a stacking option because of how great a matchup they get here. San Antonio is the fifth-worst defensive efficiency team in the league this season while running the third-fastest pace. That’s a nice meeting point when we are stacking against them in DFS. As far as the Hawks guards are concerned, the two control so much of the offense that the floor for each on any given night is very high even if it can be tough sometimes choosing between the two. Trae is averaging 25.6 points and 10.4 assists on the season with the three-point shooting actually ticking up a bit from last season. Meanwhile, Dejounte has seen the scoring and assist numbers dip just a bit season-over-season with the minutes coming down just a tad as well. But he’s shooting a career-best 37.7% from beyond the arc and is still a candidate for a big minutes load as long as the game stays close. I like playing both of these guys on this slate and pairing them in cash could be the move. Consider Bogdan Bogdanovic (FD 6100 DK 6000) along with these guys as well. He’s coming off the bench, but without Jalen Johnson in the lineup, Bog has been running about 30 minutes per game. Jalen Brunson FD - $8000 DK - $8400Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 42.11 DK - 45.4 The Knicks get a great matchup against the Pistons on Thursday with Detroit not just circling the drain, but at this point, all the way down in the bottom of it. They stink. Jalen Brunson has seen some price stagnation on FanDuel in the short-term which has him a value here on this slate. He only took nine...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Jalen Suggs FD - $5900 DK - $6000Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 32.27 DK - 33.45 Cole Anthony FD - $6400 DK - $6700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 33.39 DK - 36.5 It might end up a popular decision to start a bunch of Magic players on this slate and that would come with good reason. That’s because they are facing off against the Washington Wizards who are about as good a DFS matchup as you can get these days. The Wizards rank second-to-last in defensive efficiency and second in pace. That’s a near-perfect meeting point when it comes to opponents scoring fantasy points and gives Orlando guys a high-floor expectation nearly across the board. Jalen Suggs doesn’t have huge minutes upside, but the price is completely reasonable and he should be in line for about 30 at least as long as the game stays close. He’s scored double-digit points in 10 straight games with contributions in nearly every part of the stat line. Meanwhile, Cole Anthony is coming off the bench but has been able to keep a consistent minutes level with the team not wanting to run rookie Anthony Black out there for major run. Anthony is coming off a 30-point, seven-rebound, seven assist game against the Hornets and has scored 15+ in five straight games. His price is a little risky considering he’s not in the starting unit, but the matchup helps ease that some. Other Notes: There are injury pieces we will need to know before ultimately setting lineups. It looks like Jamal Murray will return to the lineup tonight. But if not, then Reggie Jackson (FD 6000 DK 6300) would be another strong play once again. Additionally, if Kevin Durant were to sit again then we can instantly vault Devin Booker (FD 10400 DK 10300) into the top plays tier. Small Forward Paolo Banchero FD - $7700 DK - $8200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 44.39 DK - 47.66 Franz Wagner FD - $7400 DK - $7500Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 40.57 DK - 43.08 Like we said with the guards above, the Magic guys are going to likely...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $10000 DK - $9800Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 51.46 DK - 54.83 We are rolling through the In-Season Tournament tonight and there are games with real stakes which is saying something for the end of November in the NBA. One of them is the Kings and Warriors which has the highest over/ under of the evening at 237.5. De'Aaron Fox has been ridiculous this season and is coming off of a 36-point, 12-assist game against the Timberwolves over the weekend. He’s averaging 29.9 points a game overall with a marked uptick in usage. He’s facing the Warriors who have a league-average defensive efficiency and this game could be back-and-forth. From a floor standpoint, Fox has one of the highest on the slate. Jalen Brunson FD - $8200 DK - $8200Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 41.94 DK - 45.71 The Knicks are controlling their own fate in the In-Season Tournament which puts them in an excellent spot for Tuesday’s action. They also happen to get one of the better matchups out there against the Hornets. Charlotte will be without LaMelo Ball which could slow down the pace some. But the Knicks are -11.5 home favorites against the 27th-ranked defense. Brunson has one of the higher minutes floors around and has been excellent on the shooting front this season, bombing 47% from beyond the arc. The price on both sites has him firmly in the cash game range and I expect to see him with a lot of ownership on this slate. Anthony Edwards FD - $9300 DK - $8900Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 47.8 DK - 51.45 There are a lot of good point guard and shooting guard options on this slate which could make for some tougher decisions when it’s all said and done. Anthony Edwards is in a great spot here with a high total game against the Thunder and the Timberwolves still playing for a shot to advance in the tournament. Edwards has a minutes number that can push up to 40 in the right circumstances and has taken yet another leap this season, putting in 26.6 points...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $8000 DK - $8300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 39.95 DK - 45.21 Jaden Ivey FD - $5200 DK - $5400Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 31.36 DK - 34.22 The bad news is that the Pistons stink and have lost 13 straight games. You don’t have to know anything about anything to know that’s horrible. At the same time, there is still some nightly DFS value on this squad and they actually come in as favorites against the Wizards. What does that tell you about Washington? Cade Cunningham took 26 shots last game, finishing with 31 points against the Pacers. And on the season he’s averaging 22 points and 7.1 assists. The 4.8 turnovers a game are a problem, but here’s to hoping some of the usage sticks for him against the worst defensive efficiency team in the league. Meanwhile, Jaden Ivey has been starting at the two guard and is coming off a 25-point game against the Pacers. He’s not a good outside shooter, but at least has been taking some from distance. And I think that stacking these guards at their price points does give a higher floor. The Wiz are just such a garbage team that it’s hard to imagine them slowing anyone down. Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10600 DK - $11000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 55.33 DK - 59.5 Buddy Hield FD - $5300 DK - $6400Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 30.43 DK - 33.55 I have this guard grouping second on the list not because I think they are worse than the guys above, but because they are more expensive and there’s some real blowout risk in this game. The Pacers come in as -12.5 favorites against the terrible Trailblazers and they could run them out of the gym. Tyrese Haliburton is on one right now, averaging 32 points and 14 assists over the last three games. Those are just unreal numbers and, if anything, he’s run a little bad in the defensive categories. Portland hasn’t been terrible on defense (middle of the pack) and run a slower pace which does drive him down a...
