Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 8700 DK 7900 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 22.22 DK - 22.22 Lamar Jackson has been off for a couple of weeks now, so I suppose there’s some concern about too much rust. But there’s also a ton of rest in there as well, and at this point in the NFL season, that can really mean a lot. The Ravens are -9.5 home favorites here against the Texans with Lamar coming a bit cheaper than Josh Allen for this Divisional Round. He was second among quarterbacks in rush attempts on the season, completed passes at a career-high 67% rate, and had a 24:7 TD: INT. Plus, he’s getting Mark Andrews back for this game as well, giving him yet another weapon. Jackson has a very high floor in this game. Baker Mayfield FD 7300 DK 6000 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 18.11 DK - 18.11 Though the Bucs are underdogs here, there are reasons to like Baker Mayfield as a cash game play. The Lions have let it up to opposing quarterbacks this season, ranking 30th in yards per pass attempt and 27th in passing yards per game allowed. The dome conditions will play fast here no matter what and it stands to reason Tampa is playing from behind. At worst, they are going to need to try to hold serve with a high-powered Lions offense. Mayfield threw for 337 yards against the Eagles in the Wild Card round and, over his last six games, has gone for 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 10800 DK 8800 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 24.96 DK - 26.86 When it comes to running backs, we are looking for home favorites, in good offenses with guys who handle all three downs. Check, check, and check with Christian McCaffrey. He led the NFL in overall usage (carries + targets) with 355 total touches. That was 13 more than the next-closest running back (Rachaad White) despite playing one whole game less. It was a remarkable season from the workhouse back. With a couple of weeks off now, it stands to reason he will see a big workload once again. The Packers were among the worst in the league in opponents rushing yards per game on the season. Plus, they ranked 23rd in opponents' yards per rush. This is a smash spot for CMC. He should be...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Anthony Edwards FD - $9300 DK - $8300Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 48.08 DK - 50.88 Mike Conley FD - $5700 DK - $5700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 28.45 DK - 30.87 The Timberwolves get the best matchup on the slate against the Detroit Pistons, who are the second-worst defense in the league. Sure, they are off the insane losing streak, but this team stinks. Anthony Edwards is the prize here, considering the usage should be there, and the matchup won’t provide much resistance.  He’s averaging 26 points, 4.9 assists, and 5.4 rebounds on the season on 46/39/84 splits. He has to score and the Pistons have to stay in the game to avoid the blowout, but Edwards is a core cash game play this slate. Meanwhile, Mike Conley isn’t a candidate to push the minutes into the mid-30s, but he can get the job done at around 30 with these prices. He doesn’t take many shots (about seven per game over the last month) so you’ll need the assists to get there. He has double-digit dimes in two of the previous three games, handing out about 6.5 per game on the season. The key here is that the opponent is weak and he’s priced in the lower middle tier which helps round out lineups. D'Angelo Russell FD - $6500 DK - $6000Opponent - DALProj Pts FD - 33.2 DK - 36.53 D'Angelo Russell rejoined this starting lineup last game (at full strength), and from a fantasy perspective, it was mostly a hit. He scored 14 points while adding in six assists, two rebounds, and three steal+blocks in his 36 minutes. Sharing the court with LeBron James and Anthony Davis means the usage won’t be through the roof, but he’s priced like he’s still coming off the bench. Against the Mavericks, this is a good spot to roster D'Angelo Russell, who can hopefully hold up on the defensive end against Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in order to keep the minutes there. Collin Sexton (DK 6500) and Kris Dunn (DK 4300) are good DraftKings plays against the Warriors. Small Forward LeBron James FD - $9700...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Maxey FD - $9400 DK - $9300Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 49.42 DK - 52.78 The Philadelphia 76ers will still be without Joel Embiid in this game, leaving a ton of usage to Tyrese Maxey and some others on the team. Maxey’s usage is 32.6% with Embiid off the court this season, coming off a 39-point overtime game against the Hawks that saw him take 29 shots before it was all said and done. He’ll have another shot at a volume-scoring game against a top-10 pace team in the Kings, who rank bottom-10 on the defensive end. Fred VanVleet FD - $8500 DK - $7900Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 41.96 DK - 44.61 The Rockets draw a dream matchup against the Pistons on Friday, with Detroit among the worst teams we’ve really ever seen. They got off the epic losing streak and have started a new one. The Pistons are the second-worst defense in the league and really can’t stop anyone. Meanwhile, Fred VanVleet has seen the usage tick up over the last couple of games, taking 19 and 22 shots, respectively. He’d seen things really dip before that, averaging just 10.25 shots per game over the previous four. But seeing as how this is a smash spot for the Rockets, I’m willing to trust the short-term sample and the opponent to have FVV in the cash game mix. The price is right on both sites. Tre Jones FD - $1 DK - $6200Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 29.24 DK - 31.4 Tre Jones was a popular play last time out. Now that’s he locked into the starting point guard duties for the Spurs. It was a bit disappointing, finishing with 11 points, five assists, and two rebounds, but that was in large part because the minutes were buzzed off in a San Antonio blowout of the Pistons. Here, things should remain closer against the Hornets who are also a good matchup, playing the third-worst defense in the NBA. Small Forward Tobias Harris FD - $7600 DK - $7200Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 39.81 DK - 42.24 Along with Tyrese Maxey, Tobias...

Quarterbacks Dak Prescott FD 8600 DK 7600 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 22.54 DK - 22.54 The Cowboys are in a great spot this Wild Card weekend, facing off against the Packers at home as -7.5 favorites with a 50.5 total. There could be a lot of points here, considering Green Bay comes in with the fifth-worst defensive DVOA in the league. Plus, the weather won’t be in the way it could be with some other games. Dak finished the season with over 4,500 passing yards and a 36:9 TD: INT rate. It was an awesome season and he isn’t even the most expensive quarterback on the slate. This is a great spot, and I expect him to be a popular play. Jordan Love FD 7600 DK 6300 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 17.96 DK - 17.96 Jordan Love poured it on at the end of the season, throwing nine touchdowns and zero interceptions over the final four weeks of the season. He averaged right around 270 passing yards per game in that stretch, with the Packers winning three of their final four to get into the playoffs. Plus, he’ll have Christian Watson back in the mix, giving him a full complement of weapons on Sunday. Dallas has been a good defense this season for sure, but on a weekend that features some iffy outdoor weather, getting quarterbacks in dome environments should be the priority. Along with Dak, Jordan Love, Jared Goff, and Matthew Stafford all fit the bill here and are all coming in the same price tier. Running Back Aaron Jones FD 7000 DK 6300 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 18.27 DK - 20.21 Aaron Jones has finally been unleashed, and the last few weeks have been a testament to what he can do when he is A: healthy and B: given a full workload. Over that span, Jones is averaging 21 carries a game and 119 yards on the ground. Plus, he’s totaled nine targets and 58 yards through the air. It’s been amazing. We can ride this hot hand into the playoffs against the Cowboys. Dallas can be run on. I think the Packers will lean heavily this way for the Wild Card round. Tony Pollard FD 7800 DK 6100 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 16.04 DK - 17.79 Tony Pollard finally did something! That’s right, after weeks (and kind of a season) of struggles...
