Pitchers Eduardo Rodriguez FD 8100 DK 9400 Opponent - DET (Blaine Hardy) Park - DET FD - 31.82 DK - 16.81 Eduardo Rodriguez is always a polarizing pitcher. He can certainly put up incredible strikeout numbers but his line-drive rate in previous seasons caused him to allow games to get away from him. He has put up a 28.2 percent strikeout rate so far in 2018 with an ugly 42.5 percent fly-ball rate. He also has a solid 1.21 WHIP and 3.70 xFIP. E-Rod allows generally softer contact with just a 28.1 hard-contract rate. He's taking on the Detroit Tigers tonight who have a .311 wOBA, 94 wRC+ and just a 20.2 strikeout rate. While the matchup is average to slightly above average, his strikeout upside, despite the lack of K's from the Tigers, puts him in a spot to potentially have a big game. It helps that the Red Sox are currently -211 favourites which is the second-best on the slate. Jose Quintana FD 8500 DK 8800 Opponent - PHI (Aaron Nola) Park - PHI FD - 33.19 DK - 17.52 Jose Quintana has been decent this season, but his games have certainly been a roller coaster ride. He has a lowly 22.4 percent strikeout rate, but it was a solid 26.2 percent in 2017. He also put up a decent 1.22 WHIP and 3.73 xFIP.The good thing about his matchup is that he is taking on the Philadelphia Phillies, a team that has struggled. They strike out the second-most in the Majors at a 25.6 rate and their 91 wRC+ is among the worst in all of baseball. Additionally, the team wOBA of the Phllies is just .305 which ranks 24th in the league. It's a great matchup for Quintana but he has had his struggles along the way so there is certainly some risk here. Stacks Los Angeles Angels vs. Ian Kennedy (KC) Ian Kinsler FD 2900 DK 3500 Opponent - KC (Ian Kennedy) Park - KC FD - 10.56 DK - 8.06...

Pitchers Max Scherzer FD 11800 DK 13900 Opponent - BAL (David Hess) Park - BAL FD - 44.47 DK - 25.07 Max Scherzer has been an absolute beast this season. He's has been striking out everybody that stands in his way with an unbelievable 38.2 percent strikeout rate. He's taking on a Baltimore Orioles team that is struggling immensely. They have a 24.2 strikeout rate which is the seventh-worst in the Majors. They cannot produce any runs with a wRC+ of 84 putting them 26th overall. Furthermore, their .296 team wOBA is also horrific at 27th in the Majors. The Orioles are horrible offensively and Scherzer should be able to crush them tonight. Fernando Romero FD 6600 DK 7800 Opponent - KC (Brad Keller) Park - KC FD - 24.51 DK - 12.1 Fernando Romero is an interesting pitcher tonight. He's put up a 25 percent strikeout rate with a solid 1.12 WHIP and a reasonable 3.89 xFIP. He has also kept balls on the ground with a 54.3 percent groundball rate and a 158 foot average batted-ball distance. He's taking on a Kansas City Royals team that has just a .306 team wOBA and a 90 wRC+ which are among the bottom-third in all of baseball. While the Royals don't strikeout at all, they are the best in the Majors with just an 18.8 percent strikeout rate, their offense is so bad that Romero has some upside tonight at a cheap price. Stacks Los Angeles Angels vs. Mike Fiers (DET) Zack Cozart FD 3100 DK 3200 Opponent - DET (Mike Fiers) Park - DET FD - 11.31 DK - 8.64 Mike Trout FD 5400 DK 6000 Opponent - DET (Mike Fiers) Park - DET FD - 15.78 DK - 11.69 Justin Upton FD 3700 DK 4000 Opponent - DET (Mike Fiers) Park - DET FD - 12.7 DK - 9.52 This mini-stack is a great play tonight. The Angels will be taking on Mike Fiers tonight who has been awful this season. He cannot strike anybody out...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Vince Velasquez FD 8300 DK 9900 Opponent - LAD (Brock Stewart) Park - LAD FD - 29.81 DK - 15.41 Vince Velasquez has bounced back this season after a poor 2017. Tonight has a terrible slate of pitchers, but Velasquez is the best of the bunch. His 28.4 percent strikeout rate leads the slate by six percentage points, and it's not even that great. He also has limited opponents to a 29.1 percent hard-hit rate and 19.7 percent line-drive rate. He's put up just a mediocre 1.37 WHIP and 3.7 xFIP. This is not the easiest matchup for Velasquez as he takes on the Los Angeles Dodgers, a team that is finally starting to get healthy in the field. However, the Dodgers have still struggled to generate much offence this season. Their 21.7 percent strikeout rate is pretty much average, as well as their team wOBA of .311 and their 98 wRC+. However, while nothing stands out as worth targeting with a pitcher, there is nothing that should scare you either. In an ugly slate for pitchers, Velasquez stands out as the best of the bunch. Jake Junis FD 8500 DK 9700 Opponent - MIN (Lance Lynn) Park - MIN FD - 27.7 DK - 13.83 Jake Junis is taking on a Minnesota Twins team that has a 22.8 strikeout rate and just a lowly 87 wRC+. Junis' numbers have been good-not-great this season, but the options are slim tonight on the mound. He has a 21.8 percent strikeout rate, but a great 1.09 WHIP. His xFIP of 4.07 could be better, but it's acceptable when you see his low 18.3 percent line drive rate. There is some concern with his hard-contact that he has allowed with a 34.3 percent hard-hit rate and 88.8 mile per hour average exit velocity, but with the WHIP that he has against a Twins team that cannot generate offence, he should be able to keep them in check for the most part. Stacks Colorado Rockies vs. Andrew Suarez (SF) Charlie Blackmon FD 5200 DK 5600 Opponent - SF (Andrew Suarez) Park - SF FD - 14.78 DK - 11.34 Ian Desmond FD 3200 DK 3900 Opponent - SF (Andrew Suarez) Park - SF FD - 12.38 DK - 9.5 Nolan Arenado...

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitchers and Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 5/23/18 We already highlighted Jacob DeGrom and Kenta Maeda in our Wednesday picks article. We also highlighted the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates as popular game stacks at their respective team price points. Here we will look at some other (possible GPP) considerations. Pitchers Tyler Skaggs FD 9100 DK 9600 Opponent - TOR (Aaron Sanchez) Park - TOR FD - 31.84 DK - 16.57 Garrett Richards got into some trouble against the Blue Jays last night, but they are still a team worth targeting with your pitchers. Tonight the Jays are taking on Tyler Skaggs who has been pretty solid this season. He's put up a 25.4 percent strikeout rate along with a respectable 1.24 WHIP and a 3.44 xFIP. Skaggs has also kept his batted-balls pretty shallow with a 155 foot average batted-ball distance. The Jays have struggled a bit as of late, with a team strikeout rate of 25.7 percent which is the fourth-worst in the Majors over the last 14 days. Furthermore, their numbers against left-handed pitching on the entire seasons are mediocre at best with a 22.3 strikeout rate (18th) and a .306 team wOBA (21st). With Jacob DeGrom standing out as the far-and-away top pitcher of the night, you will have to dig a bit deeper to find some gems on this slate. CC Sabathia FD 7500 DK 7900 Opponent - TEX (Doug Fister) Park - TEX FD - 28.62 DK - 13.97 You are seeing that correctly, CC Sabathia is an option tonight. Pitching is kind of gross and Sabathia has a cupcake matchup against the Texas Rangers who have been terrible at the plate this season. They have a 26.3 percent strikeout rate which leads the league, their .297 team wOBA puts them 27th and sit down in 28th with a wRC+ of 80. Sabathia isn't much of a strikeout pitcher, sitting at just 19.3 percent last season. However what he excels at is limiting hard-contact and producing ground balls. In 2017, he had a 49.9 percent ground ball, and his 27.2 percent hard-hit rate and 84.4 mile per hour exit velocity both lead the slate. He did have a bit of an issue with home runs last season, giving up a 17.2 percent home run to fly-ball rate, but that has...

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitchers and Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 4/10/18 We already highlighted Aaron Nola, Steven Strasburg and Carlos Martinez in our Tuesday picks article. Pitchers Chris Sale FD 11000 DK 12300 Opponent - NYY (Luis Severino) Park - BOS FD - 40.9 DK - 22.96 This may seem like a crazy play because frankly, targeting the Yankees will be suicide for most of the season. However, Chris Sale is a different animal altogether. Comparing his 2017 numbers to everybody else on the slate, he stands out. Sale once again put up elite numbers last season as his 36.2 percent strikeout rate, 2.65 xFIP and 2.58 SIERA all lead the slate. Furthermore, he doesn't walk anybody and once again his 5.1 percent walk rate is also tops on the slate. Now, the Yankees loaded up in the offseason adding Giancarlo Stanton to their already pretty stacked roster. Now, Stanton has hit some home runs this season, but he is also striking out a ton. The Yankees have a ton of power, but they also have a lot of free-swinging power hitters. If Sale is on his game tonight, he could be able to rack up the strikeouts. His elite strikeout ability should be able to counter any of the runs that the Yankees do end up scoring. Dallas Keuchel FD 8300 DK 9100 Opponent - MIN (Jake Odorizzi) Park - MIN FD - 33.3 DK - 16.89 Dallas Keuchel is the king of the groundball. His insanely high 66.8 percent groundball rate in 2017 easily leads tonight's slate. In his two starts this season, Keuchel has certainly struggled but hopefully, that will change tonight against the Minnesota Twins. The Twins have struggled to score runs with just 34 in their first eight games, which puts them just 22nd in runs scored. There is plenty of power on Minnesota, and although Keuchel limited his opponents to just a 17.7 percent fly-ball rate against him in 2017 when they do put the ball in the air, his 21.1 percent home run to fly ball rate is exposed. Keuchel also leads the late in average batted ball distance at just 115...
