This has me targeting a more balanced lineup tonight and it starts with McCollum who is in a great spot against a Nuggets team that gives up the fourth-most fantasy points to guards. He is coming off a dud against the Warriors but I am not concerned as he has been consistent in March. The volume is there as he has taken 15 or more shots in nine of his last 11 games while averaging 20.1 points and has added another 4.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists for just over 39 fantasy points per game. The price is a little better on DraftKings but CJ is in play for me in all formats. Marcus Smart FD - $6000 DK - $5300 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 27.18 DK - 29.54 In the first game, I think a lot of people will be chasing Jrue's monster game from last night, but with Middleton back in the lineup, I will go in another direction. Enter Marcus Smart who isn't going to win you a GPP as a low-volume guard but has provided a solid floor from a PTS/$ standpoint lately. At his current DraftKings price we are looking for about 25 DK points as a floor and he has hit that in four of his last games while averaging 28.6 during that stretch. On this small slate, I will have exposure to Smart in cash games on both sites. Bruce Brown FD - $5400 DK - $4500 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 23.74 DK - 25.42 Value is going to be tough to come by on this slate so we are going to have to expand our player pools and include some bench players. Let's start with Bruce Brown who has been getting decent playing time lately getting 28 or more minutes in three straight and four of his last five games and has been fairly consistent hitting at least 5x on DraftKings in nine of those 14 games while averaging 23 DK points per game. First of all, Luka is facing a one-game suspension for his 16th technical foul which should hand a large portion of the ball handling and usage to Kyrie who has seen 23 and 24 shots in the last two games he has played without Luka. The Mavericks are also in desperate need of a win now sitting a game back of the play-in and luckily get a nice matchup against the Pacers' 26th-ranked defence. At a price that is back under $10K on both sites, Kyrie is in play in all formats Monday. Tyrese Maxey FD - $7700 DK - $7700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 37.14 DK - 40.18 We have a matchup between top three teams in each conference with the 76ers currently sitting as five-point dogs which does tell us a little bit about the status of James Harden who has missed each of the last three games. No matter the status, I am on board with Maxey who has been playing terrific in the short-term(with & without Harden) averaging 26.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.0 assists for just over 43 fantasy points per game. We are projecting a close, high-scoring game and while the Nuggets rank 14th overall in defensive efficiency they have struggled against guards giving up the fourth most fantasy points to the position. Maxey is in play in all formats and would get a nice boost in PTS/$ if Harden sits again. Stay tuned. Shaedon Sharpe FD - $7200 DK - $6200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 30.61 DK - 33.04 Portland's 2023 first-round pick is finally getting thrust into a bigger role and has looked terrific in the process. He has played monster minutes(35+ in each), led the team in shots, and dropped 24 or more real points and 34 or more fantasy points in all three games. While I am not expecting another ceiling game tonight, the upside and opportunity are there as Fox left the game in the third quarter last night and is questionable to doubtful on Saturday. If that's the case, Huerter quickly becomes one of our top PTS/$ value plays, especially on DraftKings in the mid $5K range. Tyrese Maxey FD - $7400 DK - $7300 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 37.39 DK - 40.64 De'Anthony Melton FD - $6500 DK - $5800 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 30.07 DK - 31.61 The 76ers are also on a back-to-back tonight and like the Kings, could also be without their point guard, James Harden, who has missed two straight games. In his absence, there has been some PTS/$ value to go around starting with Tyrese Maxey who has seen 16 or more shots in four straight games, going back to when Harden was healthy, and has delivered shooting 50% from the field and averaging over 40 fantasy points a game. For Melton, he went through a bit of a rough patch after the break but has heated back up recently dropping 40 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games thanks to a very balanced attack across multiple fantasy categories. We will have to watch the news closely but if Harden is out, both 76ers' guards are in play once again tonight. Small Forward Kawhi Leonard FD - $10300 DK - $10100 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 50.36 DK - 52.72 I mentioned on Thursday that Kawhi would receive a big boost with no Paul George and he delivered a near-flawless game dropping 13 fo 15 from the field for 32 points while adding six rebounds, six assists, and four steals for nearly a 60 fantasy point effort. Even with PG13 in the lineup, Kawhi has been very consistent since the break shooting 57% on 18 shots a game while averaging...

I am still scratching my head as to why SGA remains in the $9K range as he has been fantastic since the break and while dealing injuries, as well. Over his last eight games, he is averaging 35 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists for over 51 fantasy points a game. It's a tougher matchup on paper as the Clippers are 12th in defensive efficiency but they are missing Paul George and the current total(233) is the highest on the slate so I am not worried at all. I will have exposure to SGA in all formats. Jalen Brunson FD - $9000 DK - $7800 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 38.43 DK - 41.33 Speaking of coming in at a discount, at least on DraftKings, Jalen Brunson continues to run a sub $8K price tag for the third straight game. It's definitely not due to efficiency as he is shooting 56% from the field on 34 shots over the last two games while playing 37 minutes in both. In the past, we might have called him a highly volatile, shooting-dependant guard but he has seen his assist rate(6.2 per game) sky-rocket in 2023 aiding his "safety" and floor and with his current price on DraftKings, is in play in all formats. Cole Anthony FD - $6200 DK - $5600 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 27.65 DK - 30.09 While it has been Gary Harris and Markelle Fultz in the starting lineup over the last three games since Jalen Suggs went down with a concussion, it has been Cole Anthony providing the biggest value from a fantasy perspective. Nothing has really changed in terms of minutes but he has seen an uptick in usage taking 14 or more shots in those three games while tallying 33 fantasy points in each. Even with Suggs in the lineup, his form trending as he had provided 27 or more fantasy points in the three games prior. On this smaller slate where value is hard to come by, I will have a ton of exposure...

That makes the choice pretty easy at this point even with the inconsistencies Steph has shown since returning from missing nearly a month. I am not too concerned, however, as the usage(22 shots a game) and accuracy(52% from the field) remain and he has averaged 49 fantasy points over those eight games. I like the floor and ceiling in this matchup tonight against the Rockets' 29th-ranked defence and will have exposure to Steph in all formats. Jalen Brunson FD - $8800 DK - $7500 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 33.22 DK - 33.38 Brunson missed some time with a foot injury recently but returned to the floor Saturday night and assumed his regular high-usage role(20 shots) while playing 32 minutes in the win. While the price has gone back up on FanDuel, it has actually dropped $600 on DraftKings and that is where I am most interested as it's his lowest price since the Christmas season. During that 28-game stretch, Brunson has displayed a consistent floor tallying 30 or fantasy points in 25 of 28 games, 40+ in 18 of those and he also averaged 43.7 during that time. At this price, I will be buying low on DraftKings in all formats tonight. Ochai Agbaji FD - $4300 DK - $3800 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 18.91 DK - 21.34 The former Kansas Jayhawk was drafted 14th overall by the Cavs last season and was a part of the trade that sent Donovan Mitchell to Cleveland. He has been pretty much irrelevant all season but has slowly seen his role increase lately and makes for a decent punt play who is projected to start in a game with a 239 total. There have been mixed results since he entered the starting lineup but there is some good news as he has received double-digit shot attempts in seven straight with his best two fantasy performances coming in the two most recent games where he exceeded 22...
