Since putting up a dud against the Nuggets in early December, he has been explosive tallying three triple-doubles while averaging 18 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 10.9 assists which has been good for 52.2 DK/51.1 FD points per game. This includes three straight games with 50+ fantasy points after returning from a five-game covid absence. While the game has a projected low total, the Knicks are still a slightly advantageous matchup ranking 19th in defensive efficiency so I will have a ton of exposure to Murray in all formats. Anfernee Simons FD - $7300 DK - $6400 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 35.94 DK - 40.27 The price on FanDuel has caught up to the opportunity Simons has been getting with Lillard and McCollum injuries but it is a completely different story on DraftKings where he is still sitting in the mid $6K range. Simons has also really elevated his game recently taking at least 15 shots in each of his last four games while shooting 54% from the field and averaging 45.8 DK/42.4 FD points per game. On Monday, Normal Powell will also be out for a second straight game so even in a projected blowout, Simons should get enough run to easily hit and possibly even crush his price, at least on DraftKings. Also Consider: Seth Curry(PHI) as the 76ers are very short-handed at the guard position with Simmons, Maxey, and Milton all out Shooting Guard Terry Rozier FD - $7300 DK - $7100 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 31.8 DK - 34.21 This is a game we are going to want a ton of exposure to as it easily has the highest total(235) on the slate with both teams ranking Top 10 in offensive efficiency and pace. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes FD 8500 DK 7500 Opponent DEN Proj Points FD - 24.16 DK - 24.7 We are usually talking about motivation for teams in the final week of the regular season but so many teams are either still fighting for a spot or positioning. The Chiefs are in the latter category as they come in as the #2 seed with a shot at the #1 but also a shot at finishing #3 or #4. The good news is the offense has really turned it up down the stretch as they have scored 30 or more points in four straight led by Mahomes who has thrown for 250+ yards and multiple touchdowns in each of those games. The matchup isn't that bad either as the Broncos come into the final week of the regular season ranked #20 in DVOA vs the pass. All things considered, Mahomes is my top play at the position on Saturday. Jalen Hurts FD 7700 DK 6300 Opponent DAL Proj Points FD - 21.86 DK - 22.55 Both the Eagles and Cowboys have clinched a playoff berth but both can improve their seeding so I fully expect to see the starters throughout. I fully expect Dak to be higher owned as he easily has the better weapons so for GPP formats, I prefer a lower owned Hurts. While he hasn't been nearly as consistent as he was earlier in the season, he has still provided a nice floor with his legs alone and could be relied on even more in that department this week with Sanders out with injury and Scott/Howard on the Covid list. With a chance of being the third-highest owned QB on a two-game slate, I love the play for GPP formats. Running Back Darrel Williams FD 7000 DK 5900 Opponent DEN Proj Points FD - 15.76 DK - 18.07 With Edwards-Helaire ruled out for a second straight week, Darrel Williams will once again be the lead back for the Chiefs. While I am going to try and avoid these games for the most part, it will be impossible to avoid them completely and one player at the top of my list is Ja Morant. After missing nearly a month due to injury, he has been elite averaging 27.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists good for 47.7 DK/46.5 FD points per game. Not only does he get an elite matchup against the Pistons(22nd in def eff, 8th in pace) he has also seen a price that is trending down on DraftKings where he is a great play in all formats. Alec Burks FD - $6000 DK - $5900 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 29.98 DK - 31.98 An injury to Kemba Walker has thrust Alec Burks back into a starting role and the craziest part of it all is that the price has been trending down. As a started, Burks has been solid averaging 14 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and just over 30 fantasy points per game. It is a tougher matchup against Boston but with a price that is trending down and this being one of the two games without blowout risk, Burks is easily a top PTS/$ play on this slate. Shooting Guard Jaylen Brown FD - $9000 DK - $9000 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 38.93 DK - 42.49 The system isn't overly high on Brown at the moment but I sure am! For me, it comes down to multiple factors tonight starting with the extremely consistent floor Brown has provided as he comes into this matchup having dropped 40 DK points in nine straight averaging just over 47 in that time. The usage has been insane as he has taken 20+ shots in all but one of those games and even topped out at 36 against the Clippers. Those are absolutely absurd numbers and I see no reason they can't continue tonight in a matchup vs Memphis which has the highest total on the board and should stay close enough for Harden to get a full run of minutes. Facundo Campazzo FD - $6400 DK - $6000 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 28.15 DK - 30.13 Campazzo stepped into a starting role over the last two games with Monte Morris in covid protocols and after a so-so first start, exploded on New Years day with 22 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds for 60 DK points. That prompted an immediate price boost but I am still on board as he will get another start tonight and I agree with the system which has his floor right around 30 fantasy points of 5x value. Even though we have seen the ceiling game, I am much more on board for cash as this game has the lowest total on the slate, and the Mavs rank 10th in defensive efficiency. Also Consider: Patrick Beverley(MIN) who has been solid hitting cash value(25+ DK points) in six of his last seven games with 30+ fantasy points in four of those games Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $9100 DK - $10400 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 49.08 DK - 53.27 This play, or rather, how much I like it will be dependant on the status of Spencer Dinwiddie who has missed the last two games in covid protocols.
