Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $8000 DK - $8200 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 39.76 DK - 42.17 Fox missed eight games due to an ankle injury but has looked terrific in his return averaging 27 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists over three games. The price is back in the $8K range on both sites but I am not worried considering he has seen a big boost in usage since his return taking 20+ shots in each of those three games which is about three more per game than his season average. Finally, Fox gets a terrific matchup against a Nets team that has gone South fast losing 11 straight games while giving up an average of 119 points per game. Fire up Fox in all formats. Ayo Dosunmu FD - $6500 DK - $5900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 33.3 DK - 35.91 It is going to be tough to catch Mobley, Cunningham, and Barnes in the Rookie of the Year race but Ayo has definitely thrown his hat in the ring. He didn't join the starting lineup until mid-January but since then, has been terrific playing around 38 minutes a game and while the usage isn't high, he is contributing in four categories and averaging 31 DK/28.6 FD points per game. The price is on the rise and near a season-high but still feels like a buy-low considering this game has the highest total on the slate with the Spurs ranking 18th in defensive efficiency and 5th in pace. I don't think we need to force him on FanDuel but Ayo is one of my favorite PTS/$ guards on this slate. Shooting Guard C.J. McCollum FD - $7800 DK - $7900 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 35.32 DK - 38.5 The trade to New Orleans was a bit of a surprise but McCollum has transitioned well, to say the least. He has stepped in and taken over in terms of usage putting up 45 shots(17 from behind the arc) in his first two games and after shooting just 28% in the first game, rebounded in a huge way shooting 62.5% against the Spurs...

While the 2022 season gets underway at Daytona this upcoming week, we got a glimpse into the new NextGen car last week at the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum. There will definitely be some tweaks throughout the season and the race was on a unique one-off track but man I was impressed with what I saw in the racing. Now, with points on the line, we will find out how the new cars perform on one of the most famous tracks in the world, Daytona International Speedway. With the rolling out of the NextGen car this season, that also brings back weekly practice and qualifying. Before we go any further, let's take a look at how that plays out at different tracks. While having practice and qualifying back for the entire season is very exciting, the Daytona 500 continues to have its own unique setup. It starts with two practice sessions on Tuesday, February 15 followed by single-car qualifying on Wednesday, February 16. That qualifying session will only set the front row for the big race with the remainder of the starting positions being set by the two Duel races on Thursday evening. All qualified drivers and teams will then get two more practice sessions(Friday...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 2/10

Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9400 DK - $10400 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 47.95 DK - 51.57 The Nets are back on the road tonight and that means Irving will be back on the court and this time without the services of both James Harden or Kevin Durant. Irving has seen his usage really jump up recently as he has taken 20 or more shots in eight of his last nine games while playing 35 or more minutes in all but one of those games. The price has gone up and appears it will remain here and that is fine considering the huge opportunity with Harden/KD out and the fact he faces a Wizards team that ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency. All things considered, Irving is my top payup at the guard position tonight. Kevin Porter Jr. FD - $6700 DK - $6000 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 29.09 DK - 33.07 This is a game that is high on my target list tonight but for it to work out for us, we are going to need the Rockets to keep it relatively close. Kevin Porter stands out a little more on DraftKings but is in play on both sites with his consistent play as of late. Take out the game against the Spurs where he left early and he has averaged 32.9 FD/35.4 DK points per game. In that time, he has tallied double-digit shot attempts in each and has seen an even bigger spike from behind the arc going 9 for 20 over the last two games. I don't think we need to force him on FanDuel tonight but I will have a ton of exposure on DraftKings in all formats. Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $8800 DK - $8900 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 42.56 DK - 46.08 The game of the night brings us a matchup between the #2 team in the East and the #1 team in the West. While both teams are ranked Top 10 in defensive efficiency, they both run a Top 10 pace which is the reason for the slate-leading Vegas total(232.5) and close spread(PHO -4)....

The Course TPC Scottsdale Par 71 - 7,261 Yards Greens - Bermuda **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2021 - Brooks Koepka(-19) 2020 - Webb Simpson(-17) 2019 - Rickie Fowler(-17) 2018 - Gary Woodland(-18) 2017 - Hideki Matsuyama(-17) The 2021-22 season has been underway since the fall but the real party starts this week as the PGA Tour heads to Phoenix and TPC Scottsdale for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. As it usually does, this event has drawn another strong field which includes World #1 Jon Rahm and six of the World's Top 10 golfers. TPC Scottsdale is an average length(7,261 yards) Par 71 set in the Arizona desert which comes into play almost every hole with native areas lurking not far from the fairways. While hitting the fairway is always important in giving yourself consistent shots at hitting greens and making birdies, it is the approach shot that has the highest correlation in my research and leads the way in my ball striking model. Par 4 scoring is also about double that of par 5 scoring as there is only three Par 5's on this course. Overall, there are always different ways to win a golf tournament and it comes down to who checks the most boxes mixed with a little luck. Let's get into the picks. Top Targets Justin Thomas/Jon Rahm They are in a tier of their own this week checking every box and while I will exposure to both, I am slightly leaning JT who could give us some leverage this week in terms of ownership. Neither have won here in 13 combined appearances but both have excellent course history. Rahm has not only made the cut all six times but he has also not finished worse than T16 while JT has...

Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $8500 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.63 DK - 45.88 Just five games tonight but some outstanding matchups await and it starts with the Raptors who get the best of them all against a hornets team that is 24th in defensive efficiency and run the second-fastest pace in the league. For Fred, it starts with the consistency as he comes in having dropped 40 or more DK points in eight straight(average of 45.0) and that is shooting just 34% from the field in that time. The best news here is that his DK price has dropped to its lowest point since late November which makes him an elite play for me in all formats. Kyle Lowry FD - $5600 DK - $6600 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 26.36 DK - 29.79 Lowry has been limited in both games since his return with the second more on the huge blowout than him actually being restricted as he still ended up playing 31 minutes. He should be back to full strength tonight and that is great news as his price has dropped to season-low on both sites. This game does have the lowest total(209) on this slate but this is an above-average matchup for the Heat as the Wizards rank 21st in defensive efficiency. All things considered, Lowry is on my shortlist for top PTS/$ plays tonight on both sites. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8500 DK - $8400 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 39 DK - 42.32 Mitchell made his return to the Jazz on Friday and while he was eased back in playing just 22 minutes, he looked great dropping 8 of 10 from the field(6 of 7 from behind the arc) for 42.8 DK/38.6 FD points. He should get back to his usual rotation on Monday and that is great news as the price remains suppressed, especially on DraftKings where he has been in the $9K for most of the season. He is a high-volume shooter who also contributes multiple categories making him a great play in all formats on this smaller five-game slate. Aaron Holiday...
