Pitchers Justin Verlander FD - P 10700 DK - SP 10100 Opponent - TEX (Martin Pérez) Park - TEX FD - 38.19 DK - 21.37 It has been an excellent return to the mound for Verlander who has been out since the 2020 season. As expected he has been limited but thrown 80+ pitches in all three starts and has looked really good over his last two striking out 13 and walking just one across 14 innings. The matchup doesn't project for a ton of strikeouts as the Rangers have a sub 20% K rate on the season but also rank in the bottom third in wOBA(.288) and wRC+(91) among all teams in baseball. With a pitch count that likely disappears tonight and a price that is still in check for an ace, I will have exposure in all formats. Jameson Taillon FD - P 8500 DK - SP 8100 Opponent - BAL (Bruce Zimmermann) Park - NYY FD - 37.8 DK - 20 Pitch counts have been the lead story this season with shortened spring and Taillon is another one who has been held in check early on and has yet to top 84 pitches in his three starts. The good news here, like for Verlander, is that the pitch count could disappear and no better time for fantasy as the price is still in the mid-range. He also gets an elite matchup against an Orioles team that ranks near the bottom of the league in every hitting category including the 2nd highest K rate(26.3%) in baseball. Taillon is our top PTS/$ pitcher on both sites today. Catcher/First Base Ty France FD - 1B 4200 DK - 1B 5600 Opponent - TB (Undecided) Park - TB FD - 11.73 DK - 8.94 The Mariners are not my top team to stack tonight but I most certainly want some exposure to Ty France who is arguably the fantasy MVP thus far. He has been everything(and more) the Mariners expected when they got him from the Padres and is in the midst of a breakout season with a .466 wOBA, 220 wRC+, and five home runs going into last night. He also gets at least one at-bat vs a lefty and he destroys in the split with a .384 wOBA/151 wRC+ since the start of last season. There appears to be more than enough value on this slate to pay up for...

The Course Vidanta Vallarta Par 71 - 7,456 Yards Greens - Paspalum **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Welcome back golf fans. After some near-flawless execution by Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele in the Zurich Classic team event, the PGA Tour has a week off travels to Mexico for a new event on the schedule, the Mexico Open. With an early withdrawal from Daniel Berger, this may go down as one of the worst fields in recent memory. It is, however, led by World #2 Jon Rahm but consists of just 14 of the Top 100! I won't deep into the course as we don't really have a ton of data. I did watch a preview show from "Tap it In" on YouTube and pulled these notes: Par 73 Resort course converted to a Par 71 for this event Long on the scorecard and plays at sea level so will play long as well Lots of room off the tee so should cater a bit to the bombers Outside the fairways is water(in play 13 holes) and waste areas 55 bunks throughout(below average) Coastal course so weather will big in the final score playing out(tournament director in video predicted -18 winning score) With that, I am keeping things simple and as always, looking for players who are trending in ball striking both in the short-term and long-term and will also add in some distance off the tee and long iron proximity into my model. Let's get into the picks! Top Targets Jon Rahm World Golf Ranking (#2) Vegas Odds (6/1) Draftkings ($11,300) FanDuel ($12,200) Given this ultra-weak field, I fully expected to see Rahm in the $12K range on DraftKings but that is not at all the case so I will be centering my core build around him this week in...

Guards Luka Doncic FD - $10400 DK - $10600 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 50.98 DK - 56.03 Donovan Mitchell FD - $8900 DK - $8800 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 47.48 DK - 52.27 No reason to start anywhere else for the guard position than in this game. Let's start with Luka who made his return to the lineup for the first time in the series and looked good playing 34 min, taking 21 shots from the field(10 from behind the arc), and posting a double-double on 30 points and 10 rebounds. The price in the $10K range gives us a very nice PTS/$ floor here with a ton of upside as Doncic should get extended run in his second game. On the other side of this game, we have Donovan Mitchell who is my top PTS/$ play on the entire slate. Through four games in this series, he is averaging over 40 minutes, averaging 25 shots a game, and has dropped at least 45 DK/43 FD points in all four. Elite play in all formats. James Harden FD - $9200 DK - $9200 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 52.71 DK - 58.04 With the likely guard ownership with the two above, we might get Harden at a bit of an ownership discount tonight and if that's the case, sign me up! He may not be getting the volume like the two guards above but he is an elite contributor in almost every category and is averaging just over 45 fantasy points a game(5x at these prices) on both sites. With Embiid banged up and playing through injury, Harden could most definitely take on more usage which would make his price massively underpriced for the upside. Marcus Smart FD - $6000 DK - $6300 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 34.6 DK - 36.96 There isn't a whole lot of value on this slate but the system does like the PTS/$ floor with Marcus Smart. The upside is somewhat limited but he has been a solid producer against the Nets through three games scoring 12 or more points and dishing out five or more assists...

Pitchers Max Scherzer FD - P 10800 DK - SP 9300 Opponent - STL (Miles Mikolas) Park - STL FD - 42.82 DK - 24.13 Max has gone at least five innings in each of his three starts and seems to have shed the pitch count going seven innings against the Giants on 102 pitches while limiting them to one hit. Not only does he go deep into games giving him a better chance at the win/quality start(FD), but he also provides a ton of upside and comes in striking out 33.3% of batters he faces. In a time when it is very rare for pitchers to go much past the 5th inning or third time through the order, I love locking in the raw points with Max in all formats, especially on DraftKings in the mid $9K range. Kyle Gibson FD - P 8400 DK - SP 6800 Opponent - COL (Kyle Freeland) Park - PHI FD - 34.93 DK - 17.46 If you are not looking to spend around 40% of your salary cap on pitching on DraftKings, we do some decent value in Kyle Gibson as the Phillies are currently the biggest favorites(-193) on the slate. Gibson has also been consistent to start the season with quality starts in two of his three outings with a 27.5% K rate backed up by a slate-leading 16.3% swinging-strike rate. The matchup is average-at-best as the Rockies have been no pushover to start the season but Gibson at a sub $7K price, Gibson is easily my top SP2 if you want to stack a few top bats with a top pitcher. Catcher/First Base Freddie Freeman FD - 1B 4000 DK - 1B 5300 Opponent - ARI (Merrill Kelly) Park - ARI FD - 13.9 DK - 10.47 The first base position is loaded tonight and definitely a spot you are going to want to pay up. Now the question is who to build around and while I don't think you can really go wrong with Vlad or Freddie here, I lean toward the latter. First of all, he comes slightly cheaper on both which could come into play with wanting to pay up at pitcher but more than anything it's about current form as Freeman has been red-hot over the last week with hits in five of seven games while averaging 13.6 DK/17.9 FD points per game. Freeman is our top...

Guards Ja Morant FD - $9900 DK - $9800 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 52.27 DK - 55.93 The Grizzlies evened up the series in a game two blowout win on the back of another impressive performance by MVP candidate Ja Morant. He dropped 8 of 16 shots and came just one rebound shy of a triple-double and has now dropped 50+ fantasy points in both games. With the price remaining under $10K on both sites for a player who is carrying his team on his back, I will have a ton of exposure in all formats tonight. Jalen Brunson FD - $8000 DK - $8000 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 41 DK - 44.06 We aren't going to know the status of Luka Doncic until closer to game-time and even if he plays there is a strong chance he won't get a full run coming off that calf injury. That means we are clear to fire up Jalen Brunson who has been terrific in Luka's absence playing 40+ minutes in both games and taking an insane 49 shots combined and shooting nearly 50% from the field. Shooting is not all we get with Brunson, either, as he has combined for 15 rebounds and 10 assists in the first two games of the series. Obviously, it will be a bit of a downgrade if Luka plays but Brunson is in play for me either way in game three. Will Barton FD - $6000 DK - $5800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 31.64 DK - 34.92 The Nuggets have been manhandled in the first two games and now return home finding themselves in a 0-2 hole. MVP candidate, Nikola Jokic, provides a very solid fantasy floor but at his price it makes lineup construction nearly impossible on this small slate. With that, I turn to Will Barton who comes in the mid-range of pricing on both sites and has been very solid in both games. He has put 33 shots in the two games and also added a ton of secondary fantasy scoring with 16 rebounds and seven assists. He has been a 5x lock this series and...
