Guards Luka Doncic FD - $11700 DK - $11500 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 61.03 DK - 67.25 One thing is clear on these small playoff slates and that is the importance of locking in and building around the consistent raw points plays. Tonight, that is Luka who enters game six averaging 32 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists in the series and has tallied at least 50 DK points in each game, and has a 70-point upside. There should easily be enough value to load up on Luka in all formats. Max Strus FD - $4600 DK - $5100 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 22.51 DK - 25.87 The mystery in Miami right now is the number of Heat players that continue to be listed on the injury report despite being healthy. Max Strus is one of them and of all the guards who have stepped in with Lowry out, he has seen the most time on the floor playing at least 27 minutes in all five games. Hitting value has been hard to come by but the good news is that he is coming off his best game in the playoffs and is better than his 39.5% shooting % this series(career 45% shooter). Small Forward Jimmy Butler FD - $10500 DK - $9800 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 49.02 DK - 51.15 The price has finally started to go up on Butler who is having a very solid playoff run for the Heat averaging 27 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists over nine games. That has translated to a very high floor for fantasy as he has topped 45 DK points in seven of those nine games and also flashed big upside topping 60 three times. Butler will look to lead the Heat to a series victory on the road tonight and he is easily one of our top plays in all formats. Power Forward/Center Jae Crowder FD - $5100 DK - $5400 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 26.6 DK - 28.46 There is a path to stacking Butler and Luka tonight but it is not for the faint of heart and includes...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday 5/12/22

Pitchers Early James Kaprielian FD - P 7700 DK - SP 7500 Opponent - DET (Beau Brieske) Park - DET FD - 29.7 DK - 15.5 This early slate is an interesting one and a case can be made for both pitchers in the Astros and Twins game so instead, I will go ahead and give you my favorite SP2, James Kaprielian. He was a first-round pick of the Yankees back in 2015 and has had cups of coffee in the majors with the A's but due to injuries has never really become reliable. We are only interested in one start for DFS and the good news is that he is coming off a fantastic start against the Twins in which he hit 99 pitches, struck out seven, and tallied 21.8 DK/35 FD points. He now faces a Tigers team that ranks dead last in runs scored and wOBA over the last two weeks while striking out 25% of the time. Kaprielian is my top value pitcher on this early slate. Main Zack Wheeler FD 8100 DK 8000 Opponent - LAD (Tyler Anderson) Park - LAD FD - 31.78 DK - 16.85 Wheeler is back from the protocol list which does present some risk as he hasn't pitched in eight days but looking at the options on this small slate, the system and myself are loading up tonight. The good news is that his last two starts have been terrific as he allowed no earned runs while striking out 14 and tallying 27+ DK/48+ FD points in each game. The other risk here is the matchup against the Dodgers' loaded lineup but the good news is that they have been a slightly below-average offense over the last two weeks so Wheeler is getting them at the right time. All things considered tonight, Wheeler is my top pitcher on the main slate. Catcher/First Base Early Pete Alonso FD - 1B 4200 DK - 1B 5100 Opponent - WSH (Joan Adon) Park - WSH FD - 13.18 DK - 9.85 The price for doing business with Pete Alonso is going up and it's driven off his current play. The polar bear enters Thursday's game with hits in seven of his last eight games which includes five multi-hit efforts, two doubles, and four home runs. He and the Mets now get the best matchup on the slate as they face Joan Adon who has...

The Course TPC Craig Ranch Par 72 - 7,468 Yards Greens - Bentgrass **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Winner(TPC Craig Ranch) 2021 - K.H. Lee(-25) This week the PGA Tour heads back to TPC Craig Ranch for the second straight year as it will host the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson. It was K.H. Lee breaking through for his first career win a year ago with a winning score of -25. In fact, six players in total made it to -20 or lower and the course ranked 5th easiest on Tour during the 2020-21 season. This year's event has a strong field at the top led by World #1 Scottie Scheffler and three others(JT, SPieth, Burns) ranked inside the Top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings. The course is a Par 72 that is listed at 7,468 yards on the scorecard but while it has a ton of length, it also has easier than average fairways to hit combined with average to larger-than-average green sizes. This had the field hitting over 65% of fairways and over 70% of greens in regulation last season which then puts emphasis on Proximity and those golfers who can get a hot putter on these bentgrass greens. Let's dig in and take a look at some golfers that will be in the forefront of my player pool this week. Top Targets Justin Thomas World Golf Ranking (#8) Vegas Odds (12/1) Draftkings ($10,600) FanDuel ($11,900) Looking at the top-heavy field this week, I will be building the majority of my lineups stars and scrubs and will have lots of exposure to both Scheffler and Thomas who are ranked #1/#2 in both my short-term and long-term models. I lean JT slightly for article sake because he is slightly cheaper on both sites and gets the...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Monday 5/9

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $8600 DK - $8000 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 45.56 DK - 48.73 Holiday was good in the first round against the Bulls but has been great in this second-round matchup against the Celtics defense that ranked #1 in defensive efficiency during the regular season. It starts with the heavy usage he has seen taking 20 or more shots in all three games while averaging 23 real points and over 44 fantasy points per game. Despite the rising price, there is still a ton of upside here as he has shot just 37% in those games while averaging 50% over 67 regular-season games. He is my top guard on this slate and in play in all formats. Jordan Poole FD - $7200 DK - $7100 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 35.39 DK - 39.09 Poole was relied on heavily in 2022 with injuries to both Klay Thompson and Steph Curry and took a huge step forward in his third season in the league. It has also been fascinating to see how he has adapted in the playoff run as well as he started each game against Denver in round one but has been dramatically better since returning to a bench/6th man role against the Grizzlies. He is averaging over 34 minutes, has taken 16+ shots and tallied 20+ points in all three games, and from a fantasy perspective, is averaging 41.6 DK/39 FD points per game. He provides a high floor and also adds some upside putting him in play in all formats on both sites. Tyus Jones FD - $3700 DK - $3400 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 29.67 DK - 31.82 Superstar Ja Morant is doubtful for game four on Monday with a knee injury and that should give Tyus Jones his first start of the playoffs. He made 23 starts during the regular season in games in which Morant missed and was very productive for fantasy playing just over 30 minutes a game and averaging 29 fantasy points per game. Given his sub $4K price tag on both sites, he is likely one of the chalkiest plays...

Pitchers Carlos Rodón FD - P 11100 DK - SP 10000 Opponent - COL (Austin Gomber) Park - SF FD - 39.91 DK - 21.93 The fact that Rodon gave up three hits and two earned runs and that was his worst start of this young season says everything about how elite he has been in 2022. In fact, he has yet to allow more than three hits in a start and has allowed just five total earned runs through five starts(1.55 ERA/2.72 xFIP) with a league-leading 37% K rate. The matchup is a tough one against the Rockies who are a Top 10 scoring offense but a lot of their stats come at home in Coors as they have a wOBA that is 50 points higher than on the road. Rodon is our top projected pitcher(raw points) on this slate and in play in all formats. Brandon Woodruff FD - P 10200 DK - SP 9300 Opponent - CIN (Luis Castillo) Park - CIN FD - 39.94 DK - 21.71 There have been some ups and downs for Woodruff to start the 2022 season but he is an elite starting pitcher who is underpriced on both sites in this elite matchup. The Brewers open as -180 favorites in this game against the Reds who rank near the bottom of every hitting stat(.272 wOBA, 70 wRC+) including the 2nd worst K rate(26.5%) which Woodruff exposed for 12 K's in his last start. All things considered, Woodruff is our top projected PTS/$ pitcher on this slate. Also Consider: Paul Blackburn(OAK) as a value option on both sites who is having a terrific start to the year with a 2.22 ERA and equally impressive 2.49 XFIP Catcher/First Base Ty France FD - 1B 3700 DK - 1B 4200 Opponent - PHI (Ranger Suárez) Park - SEA FD - 13.76 DK - 10.49 The Mariners have fallen three games below .500 on the season but still have an above-average offense and draw a plus matchup on Monday. Ty France is in the midst of a breakout season as he enters Monday with .324/.392/.486 slash line with five home runs and 21 RBI. He faces off against Ranger Suarez who has given up 5+ hits in four of five starts and has struggled mightily against righties giving up a .415 wOBA and all four of his home runs. France is my top play at the...
