I am going right back to the well as he is back at Colonial CC where he leads this field with some elite course history with a win(2016), seven Top 10's, and no finish worse than T32 in nine trips. While he struggled on the greens, the iron game remained hot as he gained 4.7 strokes on the field on approach which was the fourth straight shot tracker event he has gained four or more strokes. He checks every box and is fourth in pricing on DraftKings so I am going to gamble he figures out the flat stick and is all over the leaderboard here once again. Viktor Hovland World Golf Ranking (#7) Vegas Odds (20/1) Draftkings ($10,000) FanDuel ($11,200) Hovland's average-at-best around the green and putting game has led to three lacklustre results(T41 PGA Champ, T27 Masters, T33 Valspar) in a row but it has helped keep his price down at the bottom of this top tier. That is great news as Hovland has been one of, if not the most consistent golfer on Tour going back over a calendar year as he comes in having made 20 of 21 cuts since the 2021 Masters with a win(Mayakoba), seven Top 10's, and 11 Top 25 finishes. He also pops off the page statistically this...

Pitchers Gerrit Cole FD - P 11000 DK - SP 10500 Opponent - BAL (Jordan Lyles) Park - NYY FD - 49.53 DK - 28.1 We didn't see the big upside game from Cole in his last start(5 K's) as we had projected but he was efficient in holding the Orioles to just two runs en route to his fourth win in his last five starts. Cole has been elite during that stretch posting a 1.67 ERA backed up by a 2.22 xFIP and 30% K rate. Tonight he gets another crack at this Orioles lineup that has dropped eight of their last 10 games while scoring under three runs per game. Cole is our top projected pitcher and an elite play in all formats. Tyler Anderson FD 9000 DK 9400 Opponent - WSH (Joan Adon) Park - WSH FD - 33.39 DK - 17.27 There is not a whole lot of value on the mound tonight so a large portion of my salary cap will be going towards pitching. Anderson has seen his price reach a season-high but it is justified as he has started the season 4-0 and outside of one start, has been very consistent holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs in six of his seven appearances. The upside is somewhat limited as he strikes out just 23% of batters while facing a Nats team that K's under 20% as a team but he and the Dodgers are huge -225 favourites against an offence who is struggling to score runs. Fire up Anderson in all formats tonight. Catcher/First Base Anthony Rizzo FD - 1B 3800 DK - 1B 5100 Opponent - BAL (Jordan Lyles) Park - NYY FD - 13.24 DK - 9.95 The Yankees' offence once again gets the best matchup on the board Monday as they face Jordan Lyles for the fourth time already this season tagging him for eight earned runs over the last two meetings. Lyles has also really struggled against lefties giving up a .376 wOBA and four of his five home runs on the season. While Rizzo went into Sunday hitting just .230 on the season, he has been very productive for fantasy with a 147 wRC+, 10 home runs, 25 RBI, and 25 runs scored. He is my top play at first base in all formats tonight. Ty France FD 3400 DK 3700 Opponent - OAK (Zach Logue) Park...

Pitchers Early Jordan Montgomery FD 8100 DK 7800 Opponent - BAL (Bruce Zimmermann) Park - BAL FD - 34.07 DK - 18.16 We have options on this early slate but with some of the top pitchers in tougher matchups, I am going to lean on Jordan Montgomery as the Yankees are heavy favourites here. He hasn't popped off for one of those slate-breaking performances this season but he has been very consistent holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs in six straight starts while averaging 13.8 DK/25.3 FD points per game. The matchup is what really stands out however, as he faces an Orioles team that is 27th in wOBA and 28th in wRC+ against left-handed pitching while striking out at an ugly 28% rate in the split. All things considered, Monty is my top play on the mound on this early slate. Main Zac Gallen FD 10600 DK 10300 Opponent - CHC (Marcus Stroman) Park - CHC FD - 34.75 DK - 18.19 Gallen is arbitration-eligible after this season and is about to get paid based on his early start to the season. He has been elite with five plus pitches and comes in tied with Pablo Lopez with a league-leading 1.05 ERA and has seen an uptick in K's recently with 16 over his last two starts(27% K rate on the season). He gets a matchup against a below-average Cubs offense that strikes out over 25% of the time against right-handed pitching. Even with the high price, I am on board in all formats. Catcher/First Base Early Hunter Dozier FD 2700 DK 4400 Opponent - CHW (Vince Velasquez) Park - CHW FD - 9.54 DK - 7.25 The early slate picks are going to be heavily tilted towards this White Sox/Royals game as both offences get favourable matchups. At first, I like taking the value with Hunter Dozier who was moved up the lineup at the start of May after a solid start to the season and comes in having got on base in eight of his last nine games. He has been better against lefties but still above-average against righties(108 wRC+) and faces Velasquez who has reverse splits and has given up a .458 wOBA to righties. Dozier is my top PTS/$ option at first on the early slate. Main Ty France FD 3200 DK 3800 Opponent - BOS (Rich Hill) Park - BOS FD - 11.64...

The Course Southern Hills Country Club Par 71 - 7,481 Yards Greens - Bentgrass **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five PGA Championship Winners 2021(Kiawah Island) - Phil Mickelson(-6) 2020(TPC Harding Park) - Collin Morikawa(-13) 2019(Bethpage) - Brooks Koepka(-8) 2018(Bellerive CC) - Brooks Koepka(-16) 2017(Quail Hollow) - Justin Thomas(-8) The second major of the season is here as the best players in the world return to Southern Hills Country Club for the 2022 PGA Championship. The course opened back in 1936 and has played host to many big events from Women's and Men's Amateur Championships, to US Opens, Tour Championship, and of course the PGA Championship which was last played here in 2007 when Tiger Woods took home the Wanamaker Trophy. This year's PGA Championship will play a bit different than in 2007 as the course has been renovated by Gil Hanse to both bring back some of the original design as well as modernize the course for today's game. The first thing golfers will notice is the widening of the fairways 10-15 feet on average which should lead to a lot more drivers off the tee which was not the case back in 2007 when we saw a ton of "less than driver" strategies. You still won't want to get too far offline, however, as the rough will be gnarly and will make hitting the greens very, very difficult. Hitting greens in regulation will already have its challenges as one of the other big changes to the course involves the greens which once funneled balls into the middle. Those greens, for the most part, were shaved down around the edges which will now funnel balls off the green. From a stat model perspective, it will take an elite or near-elite all-around game to get it done this week but...

Pitchers Freddy Peralta FD - P 9700 DK - SP 10500 Opponent - ATL (Ian Anderson) Park - MIL FD - 37.39 DK - 20.12 All of the ace pitchers were on the mound over the weekend but good news for the Brewers as they seemingly have three of them in one of the best rotations in baseball. Peralta takes the mound on Monday and has been terrific lately holding opponents to just 15 hits and five earned runs(2.08 ERA) over his last four starts with 28 strikeouts(32.2%) and five walks(5.7%). While the matchup against the world champs doesn't appear great at first they are just league average in terms of wRC+(100) on the season and have seen their strikeouts go up recently(26%), as well. Peralta is our top projected pitcher and in play in all formats. Yusei Kikuchi FD - P 7500 DK - SP 6300 Opponent - SEA (Chris Flexen) Park - TOR FD - 31.33 DK - 16.25 One thing that was a nice mix with all the elite pitching over the weekend was all the cheap SP2 options and we get more cheap options on Monday. My favorite of the bunch is Kikuchi who opens as a -165 favorite against his former team who have been trending down in the short term with an 87 wRC+ and 27% K rate over the last week. For Kikuchi, it has been the opposite trend as he started the season slow but comes in red-hot having given up just five hits and three earned runs over his last two starts, both against the Yankees, while striking out 14(33%). All things considered, Kikuchi is my favorite SP2 on DraftKings allowing us to stack some big bats. Catcher/First Base Brandon Belt FD - 1B 3800 DK - 1B 4500 Opponent - COL (Antonio Senzatela) Park - COL FD - 15.89 DK - 11.84 Let's get the bats started with a matchup in Coors which checks all the boxes from a Giants perspective. It starts with the matchup as they face Senzatela who has given up at least seven hits in all six of his starts while tallying just eight total strikeouts. This means a ton of hard bit balls(7+ in five of six starts) and when looking at the splits, we can attack from both sides as he has given up a .400+ wOBA to lefties and righties. For Belt, he hasn't...
