Quarterbacks Tom Brady FD 7500 DK 5600 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 18.18 DK - 18.18 I am taking a veteran approach to the quarterback position on Christmas and it starts with the GOAT, Tom Brady. He hasn't exactly been an upside option with just one game posting 25 or more fantasy points but he has been consistent recently hitting the 3x threshold on DraftKings in four of his last five games with multiple touchdown passes in each of those. He has a very strong receiving core led by Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and the Bucs also get a plus matchup against the Cards who rank 20th in DVOA against the pass and 25th in fantasy points to quarterbacks. Fire up Tampa Tom in all formats on Christmas Day. Aaron Rodgers FD 7300 DK 5700 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 17.33 DK - 17.33 This marks the first time in 2022 I have targeted Aaron Rodgers outside of showdown as it has been a rough year. I much prefer Brady in the same price range as he has better surrounding targets but Rodgers is in play here against a Dolphins team that is much better against the run(11th) than against the pass(26th) and also give up the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. We don't like Rodgers in cash games but based on the data there is a game script where the Dolphins shut down Aaron Jones/AJ Dillon and Rodgers has to pass 35+ times. This could lead to a ceiling game and we are on board in GPP formats this week. Running Backs Raheem Mostert FD 7400 DK 5500 Opponent GB Proj Points FD - 14.12 DK - 15.6 When looking at the projections, we have four backs who are within a one point of each but it's Mostert who tops the list for me here. It starts with the matchup as he faces a Packers team that is dead last in DVOA against the rush and has given up 100+ rushing yards in 11 of 14 games and 150+ rushing yards in eight of those. Guards CJ McCollum FD - $8500 DK - $7500 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 39.52 DK - 42.73 McCollum has been getting all the usage he can ask for recently with Brandon Ingram out since late November. Over his last six games, he has taken over 20 shots per game and has made the most of that averaging 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game which has been a very impressive fantasy average of over 40 points a game. Adding to that form is a great matchup against the Spurs who rank dead last in defensive efficiency while running a Top 10 pace. Not only does Ingram remain out but Zion will also sit out Thursday which puts McCollum near the top of our projections and our top guard tonight. Bradley Beal FD - $9000 DK - $8100 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 39.83 DK - 42.5 After missing two weeks with a hamstring injury Bradley Beal returned to action and has stepped right back into his high-usage role. He has taken 17 and 20 shots, dropped 29 and 27 points and has added some secondary scoring to give us solid fantasy returns in both games(34.5/46.5 DK points). The Wizards are underdogs(+6.5) tonight but this game has a high total(230) and should stay close enough that Beal can take advantage of this plus matchup against the Jazz who rank 26th in defensive efficiency. Fire up Beal in all formats, especially on DraftKings where we are getting a bit of a buy-low. Also Consider: Tre Jones(SA) who isn't getting a ton of volume which caps his upside but he contributes with rebounds and assists to give him a solid floor for cash games Small Forward Trey Murphy III FD - $5200 DK - $4800 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 25.71 DK - 27.57 With Zion entering health and safety protocols, there is going to be some minutes and usage to fill down low for the Pels tonight. Trey Murphy is one player who should get more run and add to the already solid floor he has bene providing at these prices. He has started each of the last 11 games putting up double-digit points seven times, adding five or more assists six times, and providing us with 20 or more fantasy points in nine...

Guards Trae Young FD - $9800 DK - $10300 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 50.89 DK - 55.77 Bogdan Bogdanovic FD - $6000 DK - $6500 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 35.86 DK - 40.73 The Hawks are at home tonight and could be without Dejounte Murray for a sixth straight game and that turns our attention to their guard situation as a starting point for fantasy tonight. It starts with Trae who has been very consistent in Murray's absence having dished out at least nine assists with at least 19 points in all four games while tallying 42 or more DraftKings points in each of those. That consistent return is something he has provided all season so whether Murray sits out or not, I am on board with Trae in this matchup. The biggest beneficiary of Murray's absence has been Bogdanovic who made his season debut at the beginning of December. He got off to a slow start upon his return but over the last four without Murray in the lineup, he has been on fire shooting nearly 55% on an average of 17 shots a game and with the help of some excellent rebounding is averaging over 40 fantasy points per game, as well. The price is on the rise but the matchup and opportunity meet head-on if Murray is out making Bogdan a top PTS/$ guard for me tonight. De'Anthony Melton FD - $6300 DK - $6400 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 27.86 DK - 29.82 After Tyrese Maxey injury, it didn't take long for Melton's price to pop up to the high $7K/low $8K range as he stepped into the starting lineup. Great news here as the price has slowly adjusted back down into the mid $6k range on both sites and that has me very interested from a PTS/$ perspective. It has been night and day with Melton in his new role as he is playing nearly 35 minutes a game, taking just over 13 shots, and has provided a solid floor averaging around 35 fantasy points and has also flashed massive upside a few times, as well. He now gets a matchup against a Raptors defense that has struggled in the short term and fallen to 20th in defensive efficiency overall. I will have exposure to Melton in all...

Guards Ja Morant FD - $10700 DK - $10600 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 51.77 DK - 55.83 Dillon Brooks FD - $6300 DK - $6600 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 32.94 DK - 35.9 The Grizzlies are in a great spot tonight against a struggling Thunder team that has dropped five straight, ranks 19th in defensive efficiency, and runs at a Top 5 pace. When looking at superstar pay-ups on this slate, there are only two players(Giannis/Luka) projected higher in our system than Ja Morant and both are significantly more expensive. While the overall numbers aren't quite in line with those other two, they sure have been close in the short term as Morant has been on a team since early November. It starts with volume as he has taken 20 or more shots in 13 of his last 15 games and delivered 40 or more DraftKings points in each of those games while averaging 26.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists. In this matchup coming in that second tier of pricing, Morant is my favorite guard and one of my top overall plays on this slate. Staying in the same game, we can't ignore the solid production we have been getting from Dillon Brooks over the last month with Desmond Bane out of the lineup. In those 15 games, he is averaging over three more shots a game and nearly seven more fantasy points per game. He hasn't been on our radar as much lately with the pricing peaking on both sites but the good news is that it's trending back down and at the right time as the Griz get a terrific matchup on Saturday. There is flashes of huge upside here at times but I much prefer Brooks in cash games on both sites tonight. CJ McCollum FD - $7800 DK - $7400 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 36.14 DK - 39.28 We are not usually out to target matchups between two teams with Top 10 defence's but considering this game has the second-highest total on this smaller five-game slate, I am on board. McCollum battled an illness in late November and upon returning took some easing back into game shape but seems to be back in form. He has taken an average of 20.5 shots over his last four games,...

Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 9000 DK 8300 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 23.59 DK - 23.59 This slate is a little weak at quarterback on Saturday which has us spending right up for Josh Allen who is the class of the position. He has been a little more up and down in the second half of the season but we really like here is the elite floor he provides as a mobile quarterback. Heis fourth in rushing attempts per game(7.6) among quarterbacks and I would bet on the over this week with the expected weather approaching Buffalo. He comes in with eight or more rush attempts in three straight with 10 rush attempts and at least 47 rushing yards and a touchdown in two of those. He also faces a Dolphins defence that has allowed the 2nd most rushing yards and the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Allen is our top quarterback and a building block in all formats. Matt Ryan FD 6900 DK 5200 Opponent MIN Proj Points FD - 15.89 DK - 15.89 Things get really dicey after Allen so I am going to defer not only to the cheapest quarterback on the board but also to the one with the best matchup. Ryan has been a boom-or-bust option this season but the good news is that he knows how to attack bad defences which has led to him tallying 20 or more fantasy points four times. That upside is most definitely there again this week as he goes up against a Vikings defence that has given up 400+ total yards in five straight games including 300+ yard passing in each of those. He also has a nice core of Pittman, Campbell, and Pierce to throw to and all things considered, is my top value QB on this slate.
