We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! PITCHER Clayton Kershaw FD 12500 DK 13300 Opponent - NYM (Colon) Park - @LAD FD - 47.14 DK - 27.27 For an eight-game slate, this one's kinda loaded with solid arms. We start with the best and most obvious. You don't need us to sing the praises of Kershaw; he's been the best pitcher in the game for years now, and Jake Arrieta's ludicrous start to 2016 notwithstanding, very little has changed. Kershaw is still posting super-elite K-rates for a starter, walking hardly anybody, and rarely giving up the long ball, resulting in an xFIP right at 2.00. The Mets have a respectable offense, but don't let that chase you off. They're a little less potent vs. lefties and they strike out quite a bit in the split. There's simply not a better option than Kershaw in cash games, and despite the price, his upside makes him worth it in tournaments, as well. Vincent Velasquez FD 9100 DK 10900 Opponent - ATL (Blair) Park - @ATL FD - 40.59 DK - 22.67 Speaking of strikeout upside, that's what you're paying for with Velasquez. He flashed that prowess with a 16-K performance against the Padres in April, and though he's been less impressive since, the raw stuff is apparent for the 23-year-old. He'll have the chance to flex it against the Braves, who sport the worst offense in MLB by pretty much every metric that matters. As always, the win potential is diminished...

What We Know We've got a loaded split slate today, with seven day games and nine more tonight, thanks to a Padres-Cubs doubleheader. Let's get to it. Personnel FanDuel has made some adjustments to its position eligibility on a few players. Notably, Jean Segura is now listed at 2B and Brandon Drury is now OF. Dexter Fowler will get the day game off for the Cubs. Ben Zobrist will hit leadoff, while Kris Bryant mans right field and Jason Heyward slides over to center. Jimmy Rollins is out of the White Sox lineup today. He'll be replaced by Tyler Saladino, who's hitting ninth. Ian Desmond has been elevated to the No. 2 spot in the Rangers order for Wednesday's game, sliding Nomar Mazara and Adrian Beltre back one spot. The slumping Prince Fielder appears to be settling in at the No. 5 spot for now. Logan Forsythe looks like he'll be sitting until at least Friday as he deals with a shoulder injury. Domingo Santana continues to sit/pinch hit for the Brewers. Probably best to leave him on your DFS bench until further notice. Jed Lowrie and Danny Valencia were held out of action Tuesday, but could return to the lineup as early as today. David Peralta continues to sit for the Diamondbacks. He's scheduled to see a specialist about his bruised wrist on Thursday. Mark Teixeira sat Tuesday with neck spasms and is considered day-to-day. Tournament Stacks Arizona Diamondbacks As always, both sides are in play in Coors Field. We're going with Arizona because they're slightly more affordable, and because the lefty vs. lefty matchups take some of the shine off of the top of the Rockies' order. The Diamondbacks will be squaring off against Chad Bettis, a pretty average dude who gets a fair amount of ground balls, but has also shown a tendency to get burned by the long ball when somebody elevates one. Not surprisingly, he's struggled at home,...

What We Know We've got a full slate of 15 games on the schedule, but weather is looming as a big factor again in a handful. We're still a few hours from lineup lock as I write and much could change, but be sure to keep a close eye on the following: Detroit at Washington, Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, Chicago at Texas, San Diego at Chicago and Arizona at Colorado. Personnel Logan Forsythe was forced to leave Monday's game after getting hit by a pitch in the shoulder. X-rays came back negative, and there's been no update on his status for tonight. Domingo Santana continues to be bothered by a shoulder injury, but he's also been available for pinch-hitting duty. It's unclear when he might be ready for a return to the lineup, and he's been a late scratch a couple of times since the shoulder started bothering him, so it might be wise to let the situation play itself out before depending on him in your DFS lineups. Jed Lowrie left Monday's game after fouling a ball off his foot. X-rays were negative, but he's considered day-to-day for now. Danny Valencia left Monday's game due with a hamstring issue. Keep an eye out for updates on his status today. Yasmany Tomas missed his fourth straight game on Monday due to a neck issue, but early indications are that he could be back in the lineup tonight. David Peralta sat out Monday's game with forearm tightness and is considered day-to-day for the time being. Jacoby Ellsbury is expected to sit again tonight for the Yankees. Starlin Castro sat out last night's game after leaving early Sunday due to a rib cage injury. There's been no update on his status for tonight as of 1 p.m. Eastern today. Tournament Stacks Arizona Diamondbacks It should be an interesting night in tournaments, with a nice variety of pitching options and plenty of team stack possibilities. But as...

If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know We've got a weirdly divided slate today with one true day game, one pre-main slate evening game and nine more on the docket for tonight. Complicating matters is the fact that the go-to option for starting pitching doesn't get going until hours after lineup lock on both slates, and there's a chance of rain as Jacob deGrom takes on the Padres. Other than that, though, it looks like we've got mostly clear forecasts across the league, so if you're rolling the dice on the all-day slate, that's definitely helpful. Personnel Matt Holliday, Almedys Diaz and Randall Grichuk are out of the lineup for St. Louis today as the Cardinals go with a lefty-heavy lineup against Jared Eickhoff. Ryan Howard and Maikel Franco are sitting for the Phillies, which makes Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia a little more interesting. Billy Hamilton entered last night's game as a defensive replacement, which could indicate that the sore thumb that put him on the bench won't keep him there long. Jean Segura, who's dealing with a hip issue, entered last night's game as a pinch hitter and delivered a single. He's considered day to day. Brett Gardner was hit by a pitch on the elbow last night, but X-ray results came back negative. Keep an eye out for updates before plugging him in your lineups. Steven Souza left last night's game with a pectoral muscle spasm, but the injury isn't believed to be serious. Hanley Ramirez was a late scratch last night due to flu-like symptoms. There's been no update on his status as of Thursday morning. Alex Rodriguez has been placed on the DL with a strained hamstring. Justin Bour sat out Wednesday due to a dislocated finger. Consider him day-to-day for now. Ben Revere is expected to rejoin the Nationals for today's game at Wrigley Field. Domingo Santana was scratched again Wednesday night due to shoulder soreness. That's twice this week the Milwaukee OF...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 5/5/16 If having loads of sure-fire starting pitching is your thing, this probably won't be your favorite DFS day. But there are plenty of opportunities for value which should make for a fun day with 11 total games and nine on the main slate. Now’s your chance to get DFSR Pro with MLB Optimal Lineups, Projections and Player Cards. Or try a free trial of our base package with projections for every player. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA and NHL as well! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with MLB? We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! PITCHER Jacob deGrom FD 10800 DK 11400 Opponent - SD (Rea) Park - @SD FD - 44.22 DK - 24.75 Not only is deGrom the best arm on the slate, he's got the added luxury of facing the Padres in a pitcher's paradise. Petco Park wasn't the most inhospitable venue for offense in MLB last season—that title actually belongs to AT&T Stadium in San Francisco. But the San Diego park isn't far off, and the Padres suppress plenty of offense on their own. They rank near bottom of the league in team wOBA and are behind only the Astros in strikeout percentage. deGrom hasn't been whiffing batters quite at last year's rate so far this season, but he has won all three starts and hasn't given up a homer yet. Plus, the underlying numbers suggest the Ks are coming, so we think you can deploy him freely in this matchup. He's the clear top choice for cash games and has plenty of tournament upside as well. Adam Conley FD 6800 DK 6600 Opponent - ARI (Ray) Park - @MIA FD - 31.9 DK - 16.01 If you're looking for savings from the pitcher spot in your tournament lineups, give some consideration to Conley, who's off to a nice start this year. He's striking out better than a batter per inning through five starts and is coming off 7.2 innings of no-hit ball at hitter's haven Miller Park. But don't be mistaken, there's a reason he's coming at a discount. The Diamondbacks have fared well against southpaws this year, and Conley has...
