We've got you completely covered. A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   PITCHER Early Ricky Nolasco FD 6900 DK 7400 Opponent - PHI (Eickhoff) Park - @MIN FD - 30.93 DK - 16.19 Yeah, buddy. See, here's the thing about the pitching available on the early slate: It's not good. Unfortunately, no site I know of allows us to go AL and drop a DH into the pitcher's slot, so we're gonna have to choose (at least) one of these guys. Consider Nolasco the lesser of eight evils. He'll be facing a Phillies lineup that's worse than he is, ranking dead last in baseball in wRC+ against RHP while striking out in a healthy 22.1% of plate appearances. And there's a chance Nolasco isn't that bad. Most of his underlying numbers say he continues to be the mediocre dude he's always been, but his command has actually been pretty sharp this season, helping him post a 3.91 xFIP that's exactly one run lower than his ERA. The disconcerting news is that he's got a long history of posting actual results that are significantly worse than the advanced stats say they should be, so do with that what you will. Also, he's really cheap—Hooray!—and that's all I've got on this one. We're not really touting Nolasco, just recommending that you to stay away from everybody else. Consider: Rick Porcello. I guess. The projection system has him as the "best" pitcher in the day games on a raw points basis, but he hardly seems worth the cost unless you've just got extra salary laying around and feel compelled to spend it. He's slightly more appealing on FanDuel because the Red Sox should be teeing off on James Shields and putting him in good shape to get a win. Late Jon Lester FD 11400 DK 11700 Opponent - MIA (Chen) Park -...

What We Know It's a split-slate Wednesday in DFS land, which means loads of action. The day games are pitcher-heavy, followed by an eight-gamer tonight where most of the arms are of the middle-class variety. Let's get to it. Personnel Travis d'Arnaud is getting the day off after returning from the DL last night. Rene Rivera will be catching for the Mets and hitting eighth. Jacoby Ellsbury is back from his bout with the flu and hitting leadoff today. Giancarlo Stanton is sitting today for the Marlins after going 0-for-5 with a pair of Ks last night. Ichiro will get the start in RF and hit at the top of the order. Michael Conforto, mired in a Stanton-like slump, is also out today. Matt Reynolds is starting in LF and hitting seventh for the Mets. Starling Marte left last night's game early with a foot issue. Keep an eye out for updates on his status today. Albert Pujols sat last night to nurse ankle and hamstring issues. He's considered day-to-day for now. Joey Votto was out last night due to illness. There's been no update on his status as of Wednesday morning. Steven Pearce has been placed on the DL with a hamstring injury. Matt Duffy has been placed on the DL with an Achilles strain. Connor Gillaspie should be in line to the get bulk of the starts at 3B for the Giants in his absence. Mallex Smith has been placed on the DL with a broken thumb and will like miss a couple of months. It's a tough break for the Braves rookie who had been hitting well against RHP and was recently moved to the top of the order. Tournament Stacks Toronto Blue Jays On the day slate, this one's pretty obvious. Practically every game features reputable arms and/or a bad ball park, so expect the Blue Jays (and the Diamondbacks, for that matter) to be highly owned in Rogers Centre against...

What We Know No day baseball is kind of a bummer for those among us with the good fortune to be able to watch games at work, but the trade-off is that we get a well-stocked 15-game slate tonight. Differentiation and appealing punt plays are always easier to find when all 30 teams are in action, and the fact that we've got a nice menu of arms only makes the slate tonight more intriguing. Let's get to it. Personnel Steve Pearce left Monday's game with a hamstring issue and is expected to be sidelined for at least a few days. Matt Duffy is headed for the DL with an Achilles injury. Ramiro Pena filled in at 3B yesterday, but there's been no update on who will take his roster spot as of Tuesday morning. Mikie Mahtook sustained a fractured hand after being hit with a pitch on Monday and is likely headed for a lengthy DL stint. Yasiel Puig is expected to be activated from the DL today. He's been out since June 2 with a hamstring injury. Dexter Fowler has been placed on the DL with a hamstring injury. His absence should free up more playing time for rookie Albert Almora. Ben Zobrist and Chris Coghlan have taken turns at the top of the lineup in the last two games. Tournament Stacks Texas Rangers We've got quite a few offenses in nice spots tonight, and for our purposes there may not be a better one than the Rangers. Part of the reason is due to the fact that we've got some ace-caliber arms on the hill who will send us bargain shopping for hitters, and the projection system is high on quite a few Texas bats from a value standpoint. But even if you're not especially cost-conscious, the Rangers look like a good bet for offense tonight. Anthony DeSclafani isn't the worst starter the Reds have thrown out this year, but he hasn't been impressive...

What We Know We've got a five-game early slated dominated by elite pitching and Coors Field, followed by a 10-gamer tonight with a few more aces and a couple of offenses in good spots. There's plenty of action to be had on both, so let's get to it. Personnel Gerardo Parra had to be carted off the field last night after injuring his ankle in a collision with Trevor Story. He'll undergo an MRI today. Carlos Beltran is dealing with a swollen left knee. It kept him out of Tuesday's lineup and could sideline him again today. The Rockies have activated Tony Wolters from the seven-day concussion DL. Dustin Garneau was sent back to Triple-A in the corresponding move. The Angels are expected to activate Andrelton Simmons from the DL today. Victor Martinez missed his second consecutive game last night due to a knee issue. Michael Conforto sat out again last night as he continues to nurse a wrist injury. He's considered day-to-day until further notice. Brandon Belt was forced out of last night's game after getting hit with a pitch on the ankle. X-rays came back negative, but there's been no update on his availability for tonight's game yet. Josh Phegley left last night's game after getting hit with a pitch on the knee. Keep an eye out for updates. Steven Souza Jr. injured his hip last night diving for a fly ball in right field. X-rays came back negative and he's considered day-to-day for now. Derek Dietrich sat Tuesday after getting hit by a pitch in the foot on Monday. He's scheduled for X-rays on the injury today. Angel Pagan returned from his DL stint last night and hit seventh for the Giants. Neil Walker sat again on Tuesday. He's been out of the Mets lineup since making an early exit Saturday due to stiffness in his lower back. Tournament Stacks New York Yankees Look, we don't think you can go wrong on either...

If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know We've got a wide array of arms across the spectrum and the Yankees and Rockies at Coors Field. The Blue Jays and Phillies are also the lone day game, leaving us with 14 games tonight which helps make for an intriguing slate, especially from a tournament standpoint. Let's get to it. Personnel Juan Nicasio will be replaced on the hill by Jameson Taillon as the Pirates take on the Mets tonight. Taillon is not available on FanDuel as of this morning. Maikel Franco is sitting for the second straight day. That makes Marcus Stroman's matchup with a weak Philadelphia offense all the more enticing for those playing the all-day slate. Edwin Encarnacion is back in the lineup after missing last night's game due to a finger injury. Victor Martinez saw action as a pinch hitter last night. He was sitting with a knee issue, but could return to the lineup soon. Giancarlo Stanton missed his second straight game Monday, but initial reports say it was due to his prolonged slump and not an injury. The Marlins didn't miss him, putting up 13 runs in a win over the Padres. Shin-Soo Choo went 1-for-4 in his return from the DL on Monday. Nomar Mazara took a seat to make room for the oft-injured veteran in the starting lineup. Adrian Beltre will be out of the Rangers lineup until Thursday as he nurses a hamstring issue. Expect to see Jurickson Profar continue filling in at 3B until then. Juan Uribe missed Monday's game after taking a ball to the groin on Sunday. There's been no update on his availability for tonight as of this morning. Tournament Stacks Colorado Rockies Almost without exception both sides are in play anytime there's baseball played in Coors Field. Tonight is no exception, despite the fact that the Yankees have been pretty awful against LHP this season. New York is actually the slight favorite in this game, but both offense...
