We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Clayton Kershaw FD 12600 DK 13400 Opponent - STL (Lynn) Park - @LAD FD - 45.28 DK - 29.91 You guys know the drill. It's Clayton Kershaw. At the very least, he's cash-game viable every time he toes the rubber, and he's usually the chalk play. The Cardinals give us little reason to approach this slate differently, as they come in with a .300 team wOBA, a healthy 22.6% K rate, and ranked 22nd in wRC+ vs. lefties this season. Kershaw's strikeouts aren't up to his standards, and he's generating significantly fewer swings and misses than he has in the previous three seasons, so it's a testament to his all-around excellence that he continues to be one of best pitchers in baseball even when he's not quite himself. His 1.62 FIP is the best in MLB among qualified starters, and he's firmly in the top 10 in both ERA and xFIP. Really, the only hesitation here would be the prices, but they're nothing we haven't seen before, and on a 15-game slate, we should be able to find enough value bats to fit Kershaw in without too much of a problem. Lance McCullers FD 9400 DK 10200 Opponent - DET (Zimmermann) Park - @HOU FD - 35.99 DK - 23.65 McCullers has also seen a dip in Ks early in 2017, but considering the massive improvement in his walk rate, it's a trade-off we're willing to accept (especially since he's still nearly hitting 10 Ks/9). He makes a fine pivot off of Kershaw if you're looking to save some cash and keep some upside, but we'd probably prefer that maneuver in tourneys, because Detroit presents some issues. They're one of the most patient teams in baseball vs. RHP with a 10.7% walk rate, and though they're down a tick in the split this year, they're still solidly above average in terms of wRC+. But as far as risks go, we see this as an acceptable one. McCullers' 2.62 xFIP is the second-best in baseball this season, and his 60% ground ball rate should help limit the Tigers' chances of finding the cheap seats. Catcher Gary Sanchez FD 3600 DK 4700 Opponent - KC (Duffy) Park - @NYY FD - 11.88 DK - 9.16...

We've got you completely covered. ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS We've got a very nice selection of offenses in good spots today (especially if the weather holds off in Chicago), but the Diamondbacks might just be our favorite. They've been excellent vs. RHP this season, posting the fifth-best wRC+, second-best ISO (.199) and No. 1 OPS (.831), and hitting in Chase Field never hurts. They'll be facing Miguel Gonzalez tonight. The White Sox righty has done a reasonable job of preventing major damage this season, but it looks like he's in for some regression in terms of run prevention, with a 5.54 xFIP more than a full run higher than his ERA (4.29). He's a fly-ball guy who doesn't miss bats (5.4 Ks/9 in 2017), and he's especially vulnerable against lefties, with a .349 wOBA allowed this season. That makes Jake Lamb one of the top plays on the board, given his .391 wOBA and .292 ISO vs. southpaws since last season. David Peralta and Paul Goldschmidt have also done very nice work in this split, so the 2-3-4 stack is looking like an excellent place to start building -- but it's pricey, especially on DraftKings. Keep an eye out for the lineup, because Chris Herrmann would also make an attractive option if he draws the start, and Gregor Blanco could provide some salary relief at the top of the order. CHICAGO CUBS The wind's blowing out again in Wrigley, which means everybody who picks up a bat in this game is in play. There's rain in the forecast, so you'll definitely need to monitor that, but as of now, a PPD looks unlikely. The Cubs have largely under-performed this season, but their numbers against southpaws remain strong with the No. 5 wRC+ and wOBA (.342), and No. 8 ISO (.188). Meanwhile, Ty Blach is an easy guy to load up against when we get conditions that favor the hitters this strongly. He's done a good job of limiting homers in his first 50 or so MLB innings, but his ground ball rate is pretty average this year, and anything that gets in the air will...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Zack Greinke FD 10300 DK 12000 Opponent - CHW (Gonzalez) Park - @ARI FD - 34.66 DK - 22.83 It's hard to say where ownership levels for pitching are going to end up tonight. There's no clear, obvious stud in a great spot, so as one of the biggest names -- and arguably the most talented SP on the slate -- it would be easy to imagine Greinke becoming the chalk. It's still relatively early in the season, but we have to like what we've seen out of the 33-year-old so far in 2017. At 10+ Ks/9, he's striking out guys at a clip he hasn't seen since 2011, and it's backed up by a 13% swinging strike rate, which would be the highest of his career. He's also had quality starts with at least six Ks in five of his last six, resulting in a 3.09 xFIP on the year, and he's also got a nice matchup at the White Sox, who rank 24th in wRC+ and 27th in wOBA vs. RHP this season. On the downside, the price is going to make him significantly less attractive (especially on DK), and few pitchers can be considered safe bets in Chase Field, one of the top three parks in baseball in overall offensive factors. Going against the chalk in this kind of situation can often be a profitable tournament strategy, but given the likelihood that Greinke ends up the top-performing SP on the slate, we think it'd be wise to at least get some exposure. J.C. Ramirez FD 7200 DK 7300 Opponent - TB (Odorizzi) Park - @TB FD - 27.67 DK - 18.36 Ramirez obviously doesn't come with Greinke's name recognition, but it wouldn't be surprising if he's just as popular on this slate, because the price is right and there's always upside against the Rays at Tropicana Field. Tampa strikes out more frequently than any team in baseball vs. RHP (26.6%), and the Trop is one of baseball's best parks for pitchers. That said, even with the tendency to whiff, the Rays have been a dangerous offense...

We've got you completely covered. CHICAGO CUBS Wow. Have you guys checked the Vegas line on this one? If so, you already know that the Cubs are the chalk play of the day. They're tabbed to put up about seven runs in this one, so the question isn't whether to stack them, it's which bats do you choose -- and really, there are no wrong answers. Obviously, the big money guys are most attractive. Kris Bryant is an absolute stud in any split, and Anthony Rizzo isn't far off, despite lagging numbers early in 2017. Aside from the wind blowing out toward left-center at 15+ mph, they're getting Bronson Arroyo tonight, who gives us just about everything we could ask for in a guy to stack against: low Ks, few ground balls, and a history of home run issues. You can play just about anybody you want under these conditions. The Cubs have under-performed badly this season against RHP, but the talent for a massive night is still there throughout this lineup. CINCINNATI REDS We actually liked John Lackey in this one before getting the updated weather report, but as it stands now, we're doing a 180. Vegas has the Reds as the second highest total on the main slate as of Tuesday morning, and though Lackey is due for some HR regression in his favor, 34% hard-contact and average ground-ball rates make him vulnerable with the wind blowing out. And Lackey is soft on base stealers, as well, which is always a big factor when considering the Reds and Billy Hamilton. So Hamilton's definitely in play, but Joey Votto (.426 wOBA, .259 ISO vs. RHP since last year) and Adam Duvall (.256 ISO) are the clear top choices. And if you're rostering those guys, there's little reason to skip over Zach Cozart, who owns a respectable .334 wOBA and .166 ISO in the split dating back to last season. We've got you completely covered. Pitchers J.C. Ramirez FD 7200 DK 6600 Opponent - CHW (Holland) Park - @LAA FD - 29.57 DK - 19.38 We've got many nice options at SP tonight, and Ramirez is far from our favorite arm on the slate based on raw talent alone, but oh man, you guys. The White Sox are so bad against RHP. 28th in wRC+ (and last in the AL), 29th in wOBA (last in the AL), 28th in ISO (last in the AL), etc., etc., etc. Real, real bad. Meanwhile, Ramirez has been surprisingly competent for a 28-year-old journeyman who prior to last month hadn't made a start since 2011 in Double-A ball. He's striking out 8.58 per 9 IP as a starter with a 3.64 xFIP. He's a fly ball guy, but that plays well in Angel Stadium, where fly balls go to die silent deaths in leather coffins. Also: everything plays pretty well against the White Sox, plus, he's super cheap. He might have a tough time keeping pace with the studs on FanDuel, so you'll have to crush it with your hitters if you're playing him there, but he's a very solid SP option in all formats on DraftKings. Rich Hill FD 8700 DK 8700 Opponent - SF (Blach) Park - @SF FD - 16.6 DK - 10.67 Even though Hill is a superior arm compared to Ramirez and most other guys on the slate, the risk you'll have to eat with him is substantial. He rarely goes deep into games, and we can reasonably expect the Dodgers to be extra cautious with their fragile lefty in his first game back after a month on the DL. That said, the upside here could be worth it, because the Giants offense has one of the worst in baseball this season, and no venue suppresses offense more than AT&T Park. Since the beginning of last season, Hill owns a 10.34 K/9 rate and a 2.21 ERA. The xFIP says he's due for some HR regression, but it's not likely to start in San Fran against the Giants and their league-worst .123 ISO. But again, we have...
