We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Madison Bumgarner FD 10200 DK 9700 Opponent - PIT (Taillon) Park - @SF FD - 39.56 DK - 26.02 We haven't seen vintage Bumgarner in his two starts since coming off the DL. Not that he's been terrible, but four homers in 13+ IP is a little disconcerting. Still, he's the only bonafide ace on the 14-game slate and he'll be at home in one of the most forgiving parks in baseball, so he still looks like the safest play in cash games. The Pirates have been better lately, but this is still a subpar offense vs. LHP. They don't strikeout much, but they rank 17th with a 93 wRC+ and .311 wOBA vs. southpaws this season, so even if the upside is limited, we're not backing down from this lineup. Plus, a couple of shaky starts aside, this is still one of the best pitchers in the game over the last 4-5 seasons we're talking about. MadBum hasn't finished a season with an ERA over 3 or a FIP over 3.25 since 2012, so we're happy to take the discount we're getting on him here. Jacob Faria FD 8400 DK 8500 Opponent - BAL (Miley) Park - @TB FD - 31.05 DK - 20.63 In the tier below Bum, we've got nearly unlimited choices. You could make a case for about 3/4 of the slate falling into the good-not-great category. Over on DraftKings, the lack of a super-premium-priced ace means you can play just about anybody you want, and Faria is certainly in play as an SP2 to pair with Bumgarner. And if you're fading Bum on FanDuel, Faria might be the next-best play. Right now he's third in our projections on both sites, but don't be surprised if that changes based on line movement in the Texas game -- playing any pitcher in the Arlington, Texas heat is gonna come with some risks. Faria isn't risk-free either, but we'll take our chances with a guy who's turned in quality starts in seven of his first eight big-league starts. There's enough latent talent in the Baltimore lineup to give us pause, but they've been below average this season vs. RHP (97 wRC+), and Tropicana Field should help keep them in check...

We've got you completely covered.   LOS ANGELES DODGERS This legitimately might be the last time you get a chance to stack against Bartolo Colon, so we'd suggest you take advantage of it. The 44-year-old is reportedly considering retirement and could make a decision on his future after tonight's start against the Dodgers. He's been a shell of his former self this season, getting blistered in 13 starts with the Braves, then giving up four runs on eight hits in just four innings in his Twins debut last week. Stacking the Dodgers could be extremely chalky tonight, but we just can't recommend the full fade. They're a top-five offense in both wRC+ and wOBA vs. RHP, and Bartolo comes in with a 8.19 ERA/4.88 FIP/4.90 xFIP. The usual suspects (Seager, Bellinger, Turner, Chris Taylor) are the first place we're going to look; they each come in with a wOBA over .370 in the split. But don't overlook Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig and Yasmani Grandal; all three have an ISO over .225 and a wOBA north of .345. TEXAS RANGERS The Rangers aren't usually a team we go to against lefties, but with temps in the 90s, Globe Life Park is one of the best hitting environments in baseball, so we're willing to consider it. And when the lefty in question is struggling as badly as Adam Conley, sure, go ahead and sign us up. One caveat here: Conley doesn't give up many home runs, which is kind of a downer. But on the other hand it makes the fact that he comes in with a 4.88 FIP/5.65 xFIP all the more eye-opening. Opposing offenses are cranking out the runs against Conley thanks to a combination of free passes (4.67 BBs/9) and hard contact (.343 xwOBA allowed). We'll have to see how the batting order shakes out, but Adrian Beltre and Mike Napoli are our preferred building blocks against southpaws. The at-bats this season are too scant to tell us much, but dating back to 2016, Beltre has a .406 wOBA and Napoli owns a .364 ISO in the split. Try out InGame Fantasy for a totally new...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitchers Brad Peacock FD 8900 DK 11500 Opponent - PHI (Velasquez) Park - @PHI FD - 31.55 DK - 20.95 There's been no shortage of surprises in 2017 MLB season, but Brad Peacock's emergence has a stud starting pitcher has got to be up there with the most unexpected of all of them. Granted, we're still only talking about a brief run in the grand scheme of things. He's only made 10 starts on the year and the first few of those were pretty choppy. But over his last six, this is a guy with 45 Ks in 34.1 IP, 0 home runs and a 1.83 ERA. He's due for some regression -- he can't keep having this success if he's walking 5 per 9 IP, and eventually somebody is going to take him deep -- but even so, there's plenty of reason to believe he'll be able to keep the dominance going tonight. The Phillies rank 28th in wRC+ vs. RHP, with the sixth-highest K% in the split (23.5%). They're pretty good at working counts, and that can be problematic for Peacock if he's struggling to hit his spots. But it's an acceptable risk for a guy with as much upside as any pitcher on the slate. Zack Greinke FD 9900 DK 11900 Opponent - ATL (Dickey) Park - @ARI FD - 37.14 DK - 24.5 Compared to other other high-priced arms on tonight's slate, Greinke will likely come in at least a little under the radar. Like we wrote about in the cash game picks, deGrom is looking like the top play for those inclined to spend big at SP, and Brad Peacock's K uspide is going to be tough to pass up -- especially since he's coming in cheaper than Greinke -- all of which makes perfect sense. But our projections are really high on Greinke, and any time there's a chance you can get a pitcher of this caliber at low ownership rates, he's worth some consideration. The Braves have some respectable bats, but if Greinke can work his way around Freeman, Kemp and Matt Adams, there's...

We've got you completely covered.   NEW YORK YANKEES A quick note before we get started. Baseball in Coors Field is on the schedule, and both sides, as ever, are in play. But you won't see the Padres or Rockies on this list, because we've got so many offenses in good spots, it'd be a disservice to waste a spot telling you something you already know. Then again, maybe telling you to stack the Yankees against Bartolo Colon is kinda the same thing. At any rate, yeah, Bartolo is back. Neither his 5.07 FIP with Atlanta nor his four runs in 3.2 innings in one minor-league could dissuade the Twins from deciding they needed the big man in their lives. With so many palatable stacking choices on this slate, I'm not going to venture a guess on ownership percentages, but I'd bet this one will be popular. If that's enough for you to opt for the fade, I wouldn't hate it; Sanchez and Judge are pretty pricey, and again, you've got options. Then again, that .397 wOBA Colon has allowed in 2017 is extremely tempting, and pretty much every Yankees bat is in play (the wOBA vs. righties is .423).   HOUSTON ASTROS Ok, admittedly, you can stack the Astros just about every time they're not facing an ace. They lead baseball in wRC+, wOBA and ISO, and have eight guys who get at least semi-regular at bats with an OPS over .800. Eight guys. How'd you like to be Sam Gaviglio tonight? The 27-year-old rookie has a 5.89 FIP, a 6.4% swinging strike rate, and 2.08 HRs/9, so literally any Astros bat outside of Nori Aoki is worth considering. Top plays include Marwin Gonzalez, Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, George Springer, Jake Marisnick and Josh Reddick, each of whom have .900+ OPS vs. RHP. One note: Correa left last night's game early, so we could some lineup shuffling. If either catcher -- Gattis or McCann -- end up in the middle of the order, both will be solid buys. We've got you completely covered.   Pitchers Robbie Ray FD 10400 DK 11200 Opponent - CIN (Romano) Park - @CIN FD - 33.17 DK - 18 There's really only three pitchers we like tonight and since we talked about Kershaw and Peacock in the cash game picks, that leaves Ray to anchor us here. The spot isn't great -- playing pitchers in the Smallpark rarely is. But Ray is maybe the only guy on the slate who has proven he can keep pace with the Kershaws of the world when he's on his game. The problem, of course, is that when he's not, he hands out free passes like he's soliciting for the county circus. To wit: his 11.97 Ks/9 rank fourth best in baseball, while his 4.42 BBs/9 rank fifth worst. In better news, the development of a curveball has helped solve his monstrous BABIP issues, and the Reds are below average against lefties. Maybe that's not a full-throated endorsement, but he probably doesn't quite deserve one. He's worth some exposure, though, if you're playing multiple lineups. Ivan Nova FD 8200 DK 7600 Opponent - MIL (Guerra) Park - @PIT FD - 28.94 DK - 14.58 Ok, this one is a pure SP2 play. If you must veer away from the top three guys on a one-pitcher site, you're probably better off going with somebody who can strike guys out (I dunno, Mike Clevinger or Blake Snell maybe?) -- or just hit me on Twitter and I'll give you my mailing address if you're that eager to give some money away. Having reached 6 Ks only twice since April, Nova just doesn't have the upside to put you in a winning position in a single SP format, but he can at least keep you in the mix from a supporting role. His overall numbers won't blow you away, but his 3.59 FIP since coming to Pittsburgh 11 months ago makes him a standout on this slate. And in the offense-killing confines of his home park, he's holding opponents to a .265 wOBA during that span. The Brewers aren't a bad matchup either -- they rank 16th...
