    Running Backs

James ConnerJames Conner FD 6900 DK 6800
    Opponent DEN
    Proj Points FD - 12.73 DK - 14

Much to our chagrin, Conner has practiced in full this week, which takes Benny Snell Jr. out of lineup consideration, unfortunately.

Miles SandersMiles Sanders FD 6800 DK 6000
    Opponent LAR
    Proj Points FD - 12.84 DK - 14.22

Like Conner, Sanders has been practicing in full, and claims that he is 100% going into this week's match-up with the Rams. He also claimed that he could have played week 1, but wanted to be extra careful. This match-up with the Rams is nothing to write home about, but he's cheap enough that you have to consider him for big tournaments.

Marlon MackMarlon Mack FD 5900 DK 5000
    Opponent MIN
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Mack's season is over before it started, leaving the Colts' running back touches to Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. Unfortunately, it's looking like a good old fashioned time share, with the two evening splitting touches in week one, even though Hines saw more snaps. Still, both are very cheap, and Rivers throws to RBs as much as anyone. I can see an argument for running these guys in big tournaments for sure, and possibly even in PPR formats.

    Le'Veon BellLe'Veon Bell FD 6100 DK 5200
    Opponent SF
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Like Mack, Bell is out for the season. Like Mack, he leaves behind an apparent timeshare to Frank Gore and Josh Adams. There is no indication where these carries are going, but in a week against the Niners where you wouldn't play any Jets RBs anyway we should get a clearer picture of what they are going to do going forward.

Phillip LindsayPhillip Lindsay FD 5000 DK 5100
    Opponent PIT
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Lindsay has been ruled out of week 2's match-up agains the Steelers, and while Melvin Gordon was already the lead back, Lindsay should be worth 7-10 touches a game. Redistributing those carries matters, though I don't think you want the Denver running backs as touchdown underdogs against Steel City.

Other back-ups to keep an eye on. Duke Johnson and Justin Jackson have been limited in practice, which would free up more touches for their lead ball carriers as well.

    Wide Receivers

Chris GodwinChris Godwin FD 7800 DK 7000
    Opponent CAR
    Proj Points FD - 1.73 DK - 2.07

Chris Godwin is currently listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Panthers, and he'd obviously leave a lot of targets behind for his fellow receivers. Mike Evans didn't garner many targets last week, but you'd have to think that he and Scotty Miller would be the primary beneficiaries if Godwin sits.

Kenny GolladayKenny Golladay FD 7500 DK 6200
    Opponent GB
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Golladay has been ruled out again, though none of the Detroit receivers lit it up in his absence last week. Quintez Cephus saw a lot of targets, but didn't do much with them. Marvin Jones Jr. saw 8 targets, but disappeared for long stretches of the game. I think the Lions are big tournament targets only.

Courtland SuttonCourtland Sutton FD 6900 DK 6000
    Opponent PIT
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Sutton is currently "50-50 to play" this weekend against the Steelers. His return would kill whatever little interest I already have in the other Denver wide receivers, but if he returns he's quite interesting for big tournaments. One bad hit could knock him out, but if he plays you're getting WR1 potential in a game where his team should need him. He's also dealing with a shoulder injury, which shouldn't impact his ability to get separation downfield. Definitely a situation to monitor.

    A.J. BrownA.J. Brown FD 6600 DK 6100
    Opponent JAX
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

One of last year's brightest emerging stars came out and got 8 targets in week 1, and he's already been ruled out for week 2. his absence makes me a lot more interested in Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith, both of whom are lurking around our cash game lineups.

Devante ParkerDevante Parker FD 6500 DK 5900
    Opponent BUF
    Proj Points FD - 11.41 DK - 13.43

Parker is listed as a game-time decision against the Bills after a disappointing week one where he aggravated his hamstring injury. I can't imagine playing him in any format given the potential for him to leave the game early, and honestly I'm not sure how much his absence would excite me in terms of where his targets would go. I might sprinkle Preston Williams into some big tournaments.

Jamison CrowderJamison Crowder FD 6000 DK 5400
    Opponent SF
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

There's no joy in Jetsville, with the Jets missing by far their two most dynamic skill position players. Crowder garnered 13 targets last week, but is already ruled out for this one. Chris Herndon had 7 targets last week, but there is no way to tell where Crowder's targets are headed otherwise. Throw in the 49ers world class defense (best in the NFL in dVOA last year) and our system is pretty ambivalent to his absence.

Golden TateGolden Tate FD 5500 DK 4900
    Opponent CHI
    Proj Points FD - 6 DK - 7.31

Golden Tate looks like he'll return to the Giants this week, which makes him a somewhat interesting fantasy play in all honestly. His biggest impact is taking Darius Slayton out of cash game consideration, though, which is a bummer because we were hoping to rnu him this week.

    Tight End

George KittleGeorge Kittle FD 7400 DK 6700
    Opponent NYJ
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

One of the only decent passing catching tight ends in the league is out this week, and the Niners are missing Deebo Samuel as well. But what do we do with this? Several guys on San Fran had 5 targets, but no one exceeded those, and it's a fool's errand to try and guess where Kittle's vacated targets go from here. If anything Rasheem Mostert looks pretty good from here. The is some Jordan Reed buzz right now, so that's potentially worth looking at if he's really going to play a full workload of snaps.

Jack DoyleJack Doyle FD 5300 DK 3600
    Opponent MIN
    Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Another potentially playable option ruled out. Not looking great at tight end this week. Mo Allie Cox is nominally the next man up at tight end, but he had two targets last week. If anything this could shift more targets toward the running back and possession receive Paris Campbell.
