GOALIE
Carey Price FD - $9000 DK - $7800
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 16.78 DK - 4.25
It is truly amazing how much of an impact the return of Carey Price has been for the Habs. They have won all five games since he came back injury and Price has started all five stopping 150 of 156 shots for an elite .962 save % including a shutout. He has already been confirmed for Tuesday night's game which, on the surface, may seem like a tough matchup but he gets to face the Blues at the perfect time as they have been struggling lately losing four of their last five games while scoring just 10 goals total(2.0 per game). All things considered, I will be rolling out Price in all formats until(if) he comes back down to Earth.
Tristan Jarry FD - $8500 DK - $7700
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 14.11 DK - 3.53
With Matt Murray on injured reserve, Tristan Jarry has stepped in for the Penguins and has been nothing short of spectacular. He has won four straight games and has yet to lose one in regulation(4-0-2) this season and has been nearly perfect since taking over as the starter with back to back wins stopping 66 of 67 shots with a shutout. I don't think we need to go here in cash games as the Rangers have been better lately winning five of their last six games and own a Top 10 offense but Jarry clearly has upside and makes an excellent GPP play.
Also Consider: Sergei Bobrovsky(CBJ) who is a big home favorite vs. the Devils
CENTERS
Sidney Crosby FD - $9300 DK - $7900
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 18.22 DK - 5.3
I don't think there is any reason not to pay up for Crosby tonight in all formats, at least on DraftKings where he is just a few hundred dollars more than the next three or four options. He is the hottest player in the league with five straight multi-point games, at least one point in eight of his last nine games(16 total), and is averaging just shy of three shots per game. The matchup isn't elite as the Rangers have been playing better and rank mid-pack in defense(17th) but have struggled on the road with a 3-5 record and have given up an average of 3.8 goals per game. Crosby is one of the few matchup-proof players in the league and should be in your lineups tonight.
Stack with: Patric Hornqvist, Phil Kessel(PP), Evgeni Malkin(PP)
Steven Stamkos FD - $8500 DK - $7800
Opponent - NYI
Proj Pts FD - 15.33 DK - 4.58
I have a strong feeling that Crosby and his current production will be the chalk at the top of the salary tonight which makes Stamkos my top pivot for GPP formats. The Lightning have come back to Earth after their big start to the season and the same can be said for Stamkos who has just two points over his last seven games but still sits #2 in assists and points in the league. What I like most about the possibility of a breakout tonight is matchup vs. the Islanders and their 24th ranked defense that is coming off a big 6-5 loss to the Senators on Friday night and are currently down 1-0 to Panthers on Monday night.
Stack with: Vladislav Namestnikov, Tyler Johnson, Nikita Kucherov(PP)
Dylan Larkin FD - $5700 DK - $5900
Opponent - WPG
Proj Pts FD - 11.64 DK - 3.32
Value at the center position is tough tonight but form a GPP standpoint, I will be turning to Dylan Larkin. He leads the Red Wings in points and due to their current seven-game losing streak, has seen his salary drop back below $6K on both sites. While the team has been terrible lately, Larkin has been decent with points in three of his last four and six of his last nine games(eight total) and is consistently getting over 19 minutes of ice-time per game. He doesn't quite have the shot volume to be in the cash game conversation but the price is right if you need a bit of salary relief.
Stack with: Anthony Mantha, Tomas Tatar
Also Consider: Kyle Turris(NSH)
WINGERS
Jonathan Marchessault FD - $6800 DK - $6800
Opponent - ANA
Proj Pts FD - 17.25 DK - 4.78
If you have been stacking the Golden Knights this season you have most likely been profitable. They own the league's fourth-ranked offense an have been dominant on home ice with a 10-2 record while averaging 3.91 goals per game. Leading the way has been their top line of Jonathan Marchessault, William Karlsson, and Reilly Smith who all sit with 20+ points on the season. My favorite option, if you are just concentrating on cash games, is Marchessault as he not only sits tied for the team lead with 25 points but also leads the team by a wide margin with 84 shots on goal(3.7 per game). For GPP upside, play all three tonight as the Ducks come to town, losers of seven of their last eight games while giving up an average of 3.7 goals per game.
Stack with: Reilly Smith, William Karlsson
Josh Anderson FD - $5200 DK - $5400
Opponent - NJ
Proj Pts FD - 12.44 DK - 3.46
He has been seeing a lot more ice time lately as he is skating on the listed top line but continues to come to us with a value price tag. The salary isn't the only thing that has Anderson on my radar as he has already recorded 10 goals and 17 points giving us some upside but most of all, he provides us with a very high floor averaging over three shots on goal per game. He is in play in all formats tonight vs. a Devils team that ranks 17th in offense after being blown out 5-0 by the lowly Coyotes on Saturday night.
Stack with: Artemi Panarin, Pierre-Luc Dubois
Mathieu Perreault FD - $4200 DK - $4500
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 11.12 DK - 3.24
Perreault has been a tough player to recommend this season as he has been skating just over 13 minutes per game on the third and fourth line for the Jets but for the time being is one of the top PTS/$ plays at any position. Why you ask? Kyle Connor was ruled out on Sunday with a lower-body injury and Perreault jumped up to the top line with Wheeler and Scheifele and delivered in a big way with three points and five shots on goal. That now gives him 11 points in his last 10 games and as long as he remains on the top line, is a top play in all formats.
Stack with: Mark Scheifele, Blake Wheeler
Also Consider: Jeff Skinner(CAR)
DEFENSEMEN
Erik Johnson FD - $4500 DK - $4700
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 9.85 DK - 3.35
Johnson has gone pointless in his last five games but has shown some upside lately with two multi-point efforts in his last 10 games. The upside is not what I am looking for from him tonight as I will be mainly using him in cash games due to his high floor(for the price) with 32 shots and 16 blocks over his last 10 games. Not that the upside isn't there, especially in a plus matchup vs. the Sabres who rank dead last in defense this season allowing 3.44 gols per game.
Josh Morrissey FD - $3900 DK - $3400
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 7.74 DK - 2.63
To jam in multiple elite players on a big slate like this we need to take a shot with a punt play and tonight I will be doing so with Josh Morrissey of the Jets. We are getting very limited upside here as he has just nine points on the season but the good news is that four of those points have come in his last four games and he has 23 blocks and 14 shots over his last 10 games for a decent floor. He is best used in cash games but with a sub $4K price tag can also be considered in GPP formats.
Also Consider: Roman Josi(NSH) if paying up in GPP's or Alexander Edler(VAN) in the mid-range for all formats

Kyle Connor was present at the Jets morning skate on the top line so Perreault’s value takes a hit.
Pay up for Bob?????? Or get one of the cheapies to get more skaters in that still has good odds to win….
Chris you moving off perrault now, with connor back and now back to 4th line??
