What We Know
Personnel
- Hunter Pence was removed from the game early on Thursday with a tight hamstring. He can be considered day to day at this point.
- DJ Lemahieu remained sidelined yesterday and is still considered day to day with a shot to return to the lineup Friday night.
- It appears Kyle Seager has a chance to return to the Mariners lineup tonight. He said it's 50/50 so stay tuned for lineups this afternoon.
- Yasmany Tomas returned as a pinch hitter last night, making two at bats, and if he is back in the starting lineup tonight makes a great play against a left handed pitcher.
- The Blue Jays kept Michael Saunders out of the lineup on Thursday as he had been feeling some discomfort in his hamstring. It is not all considered to be serious and there is a shot he is back in the lineup Friday. If he is not Ezequiel Carrera will most likely fill his spot.
- Jay Bruce sat out on Thursday with a calf injury but the Mets manager indicated he was available off the bench so there is a good chance he is back in the lineup tonight.
- Stay tuned for the status of Melky Cabrera as he missed last nights game with the flu. If he misses another game he will most likely be replaced by Avisail Garcia who filled in last night.
- Adam Jones left Thursday nights game with hamstring cramps and is considered day to day at this point.
The "Every Lineup" Guys
Bryce Harper FD 3900 DK 5300
Opponent - COL (Hoffman) Park - @WSH
FD - 15.91 DK - 12.27
That's right. More Bryce Harper. Looking closely at the optimizer today you will see that Harper shows up in all 25 lineups on both sites. If you are surprised you are most likely alone as we have mentioned Harper almost every day in the second half of the season. He has been red hot lately with hits in 10 of his last 12 games including seven multi hit efforts and two home runs. He gets a great matchup today and should be in almost all of your lineups.
Troy Tulowitzki FD 3000 DK 3700
Opponent - MIN (Dean) Park - @TOR
FD - 12.38 DK - 9.44
Usually when I write up two guys in this section they are split into FanDuel and DraftKings as the pricing forces the optimizer to go in different directions. Today is not one of those days as the optimizer's look very similar at this point. They are absolutely loving the value pitching and stacking Nationals, Astros and Blue Jays. Tulo makes a Jays stack very viable today as he comes in at a value price on both sites. He has turned his season around after a slow start and is having a nice August so far, slashing .277/.356/.446 with three home runs and 12 RBI.
Good luck out there today! If you want access to all of our numbers, get started with a free trial below of our lineup optimizer, on us!

As good of a play as Tulo is tonight, I like Correa a bit better.
Tulo is a constant disappointment…
He is inconsistent. When he on, he on. When he not, he not
Should I play Goldschmidt or Votto tonight?
Thanks
