Pitching Targets

Chris SaleChris Sale FD 10600 DK 12200
Opponent - KC (Chatwood) Park - @KC
FD - 35.8 DK - 23.75

Chris Sale is still one of the best pitchers in the league, although he has definitely changed his approach since last season. His strikeout numbers have dropped, though his inning totals and production as a whole have gone up. Sale has been absolutely dominant against both righties and lefties with a respective wOBA's of .263 and .277. Sale and the White Sox will be taking on the Kansas City Royals, a team that has been pretty bad against lefties on the season. In 1000 plate appearances, the Royals have sported a 99 wRC+ and a .152 ISO. Sale will be moving from U.S. Cellular Field to Kaufmann Stadium, which is one of the best parks in the league for pitchers.

Marco EstradaMarco Estrada FD 8700 DK 11500
Opponent - TB (Smyly) Park - @TOR
FD - 35.17 DK - 21.98

In tournaments, anything is in play. After Sale, Scherzer and Maeda, nobody at all is safe. That being said, Estrada has a good amount of upside against a team that strikes out a ton. Estrada has been absolutely dominant against right handers with a .238 wOBA that is supported by a 19% line drive rate and a 3.91 xFIP. The Jays will be taking on the Tampa Bay Rays, a team that has sported a .309 wOBA and has held a 24% strikeout rate. As a side note, the Blue Jays are in a great spot tonight which gives me the confidence that Estrada will be able to get the win. While he is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE on DraftKings, he is fairly priced on FanDuel.
