Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Tuesday, December 15th, 2015. Another big night in the NHL with 11 games and some huge guaranteed prize payout tournaments across the industry. The following teams are playing on back to back nights:

• Tampa Bay Lightning
• Columbus Blue Jackets (Road)

Below you will find a few core plays at each position for Tuesday nights games.

Goaltenders

Corey Crawford - Chicago Blackhawks vs. COL  *Probable*
DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $8,700 DraftPot - 5.42 DPPG

The hottest goalie on the planet right now. Crawford has picked up four straight wins including two straight shutouts. He has only allowed two goals on the entire win streak. He is now 15-7-2 with a .924 save percentage on the year and looking to improve on that at home Tuesday night. The Hawks welcome the Avalanche to the United Center and sit as -195 favorites to win making Crawford an elite pick for any format.

Pekka Rinne - Nashville Predators vs. CGY *Probable*
DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $8,100 DraftPot - 3.00 DPPG

He is going to be a GPP play for me tonight as he has been shaky up to this point in the season but is still one of the top goalies in the league. Rinne has been a much better goalie on home ice this year and throughout his career. The Predators are big favorites(-185) at home tonight vs. the Flames who have struggled mightily on the road this year.

CENTER

Tyler Seguin - Dallas Stars vs. CBJ
DraftKings - $8,700 FanDuel - $8,700 DraftPot - 5.40 DPPG

He remains 2nd in league scoring, six points behind Patrick Kane. The line combo of himself and Jamie Benn has been electric and almost unstoppable for the Stars and their #1 offense. He provides one of the highest floors in the league as he averages 23.7 CF/60 which has produced 125 shots on goal. He is an elite player in an elite matchup and should be in your lineups.

Stack with - Jamie Benn, Valeri Nichushkin, John Klingberg, Jason Spezza

David Backes - St. Louis Blues @ WPG
DraftKings - $5,000 FanDuel - $7,700 DraftPot - 3.38 DPPG

He has been a very consistent player and great cash game play over his last 10 games. He is a great play on any site but an elite play on DraftKings where his price is bargain bin low for a player of that talent. His floor has been fairly high as he gets 2+ shots on net per game and adds penalty minutes for a bonus over at FanDuel.

Stack with - Vladimir Tarasenko, Paul Stastny, Alex Steen

Also Consider - Frans Nielsen - New York Islanders vs. FLA

 

WINGERS

Zach Parise - Minnesota Wild vs. VAN
DraftKings - $7,600 FanDuel(LW) - $9,100 DraftPot - 3.43 DPPG

He was held pointless in his first two games after returning form injury at the end of November. Since then, he has been red hot and back to elite fantasy status. He has picked up points in five of six games and has fired 26 shots on goal in that time. More pucks will start to find the back of the net if the shots continue giving him a way to go before he reaches his ceiling.

Stack with - Mikael Granlund, Jason Pominville, Ryan Suter

Ryan O'Reilly - Buffalo Sabres vs. NJ
DraftKings - $5,800 FanDuel(C) - $5,500 DraftPot - 3.90 DPPG

The Sabres offense is ranked 24th in the NHL but that hasn't stopped O'Reilly from enjoying a career year. He has 28 points on the season including 12 in his previous 10 games. He is still a fantastic price on DraftKings & FanDuel and will be safe in any format.

Stack with - Jamie McGinn, Sam Reinhart, Rasmus Ristolainen

Kyle Okposo - New York Islanders vs. FLA
DraftKings - $5,900 FanDuel(RW) - $6,300 DraftPot(LW) - 3.55 DPPG

He has recorded five points in his previous three games and has played a big role in the Islanders recent success. They have won three in a row and are 8-0-2 in their last 10 games. The Isles are home favorites tonight(-150) as they host the Panthers. Okposo has averaged 14.3 CF/60 on the season for 64 shots on goal and 26 points. Look for another strong game from Okposo and the red hot Islanders.

DEFENSE

Roman Josi - Nashville Predators vs. CGY
DraftKings - $6,700 FanDuel - $6,700 DraftPot - 3.80 DPPG

If you are paying up for a D man, you want either crazy upside or consistency. In this case Josi is one of the  most consistent fantasy D men there is. He provides a high floor with a ton of shots, and blocked shots(Draftkings/DraftPot) and is always involved in the offense with 22 points on the year. He gets an elite matchup at home vs. the Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.

Ryan Suter - Minnesota Wild vs. VAN
DraftKings - $5,700 FanDuel - $4,200 DraftPot - 3.35 DPPG

Although he has now gone five straight games without a point but remains an elite punt option on FanDuel where his price is just too low. He has a nice floor with the shots on goal and won't hurt you at all in the +/- department. He can be used for GPP's on the other sites but is an almost must play on FanDuel.
