Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftStreet 4/6/14
It's the final Sunday in the regular season for the NBA. I'm pissed. Don't talk to me. Seriously. I'm in no mood. What am I supposed to do now? Just watch baseball every night? I mean I will, but having both is awesome.

Point Guards
Chris Paul - FanDuel $10,000 DraftKings $10,200 DraftStreet $20,851
He's the best PG option but comes with a caveat: the Clips might win by 149. It is going to be tough to pay up with that eventuality in mind, but there's no denying Paul could head to the moon if this game can stay even a little bit of close. The Lakers are horrible against everything involving offensive basketball. You could probably pay 5xat whatever price we assigned you.
Mario Chalmers - FanDuel $5,100 DraftKings $4,800 DraftStreet $10,781
Looks like a nice play again with D-Wade most likely sitting. The Knicks are atrocious against point guards mostly because Felton is fat and slow. But the game could stay close because the Knicks will actually be trying to sneak into a playoff spot.
Darren Collison - FanDuel $6,200 DraftKings $5,800 DraftStreet $11,628
I thought he would suffer as their SGs got healthy. But even with Redick coming back, Collison still played a ton of minutes and put up 22. Price is really up there on FD but in the other spots he's in play.
Mike Conley - DraftStreet $12,878
The Spurs are sneaky bad against point guards.
Shooting Guards
Monta Ellis - FanDuel $7,600 DraftKings $7,600 DraftStreet $14,318
Not sure if you've kept track of what shooting guards do against Sacramento, but it's borderline x-rated. And not in the sexy way. In the deviant, disgusting, something's wrong with the world kind of way. Sullying the very moniker of "x-rated" which used to be so appealing. No, the Kings are about as bad as it gets. And it isn't just small sample size stuff. SGs destroy them. Ellis will get a ton of looks.
James Harden - FanDuel $9,600 DraftStreet $19,423
Don't love him on DraftKings and on DraftStreet he's getting steep but the Rockets are fighting for that homecourt in the first round and will still be without Dwight. Harden is their main source of offense and this game against Denver should be high scoring.
Eric Bledsoe - FanDuel $6,800 DraftStreet $13,723
Feast or famine time. If you click on him for a lineup you need to mentally prepare yourself for a low basement. So it's GPP time for Bledshow. No cash games please.
Anthony Morrow - FanDuel $4,400 DraftKings $4,000 DraftStreet $8,777
Still seeing decent minutes at low prices.
Small Forwards
Small forward is finishing the season much how it started. Shitty.
Chandler Parsons - FanDuel $7,000 DraftKings $7,500 DraftStreet $14,613
I l-o-v-e Parson tonight. He is a great cash game play tonight with no Dwight. Having Howard out of the lineup, along with Beverly has meant more of just about everything for this dreamboat. Denver is so weak defensively and Parsons could be in line for 40FPPs if this one stays close.
Shawn Marion - FanDuel $5,200 DraftKings $5,400 DraftStreet $10,363
SF sucks and you'll be struggling for options unless we get some news ahead of tip. Marion has been playing well of late and getting some more looks. The Kings are about league average against shooting guards. Again, SG is weak tonight.
Power Forwards
PF on the other hand is stacked. The decisions here tonight are tough.
Blake Griffin - FanDuel $9,400 DraftKings $8,800 DraftStreet $20,884
Pretty much only an upside play considering the blowout risk. I'm more inclined to start CP3 for the same prices in a blowout scenario because I think the point guard has a better chance to hit value in a game that gets out of hand. Blake, is much riskier. Though on DraftKings I think you can start him regardless of the risk.
Jordan Hill - FanDuel $5,600 DraftKings $5,300 DraftStreet $12,955
No Paul. No Kaman. No problem. Hill is your guy and these prices do not come close to reflecting what he does with full minutes. I mean on DS it's a littler closer, but not much. Additionally, the Lakers are so short on bigs that Hill should see his run regardless of how bad the Lakers are getting blitzed.
Terrence Jones - FanDuel $5,500 DraftKings $4,800 DraftStreet $12,630
Really want to fire him off in a few places with Howard out. Jones is an enigma. He's amazing and then terrible with very little room in between. I'm banking on awesome today.
Serge Ibaka - FanDuel $7,500 DraftKings $7,500
Multiplier is boosted a little unnaturally after the monster he put up the other night. But the Suns are below average in defending opposing power forwards when it comes to scoring and rebounding.
Centers
DeAndre Jordan - FanDuel $7,800 DraftKings $7,700 DraftStreet $16,715
Who is going to contest him down low? Robert Sacre? Jordan Hill? Twenty rebounds is in play and that is without him even playing the whole game. Really. He might grab everything.
Omer Asik - FanDuel $5,100 DraftKings $5,500 DraftStreet $12,520
The salary has leveled off a bit, commensurate to his apparent upside. That being said, Denver is among the league's worst in defending the center position. They allow 11% more scoring and 17% more assists from the center position. Asik should see a slight uptick here, making these prices still well in the range of value.
