Daily Fantasy NBA Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftStreet 3/27/14

Honestly, yesterday was so crazy down to the wire with lineup maneuvering that I'm a bit exhausted today. It's nice to have a slow Thursday to cool the jets. That being said, there are are few question marks out that make getting these picks solid a bit of a problem. The biggest one being whether LaMarcus Aldridge is taking the court tonight. He alone throws off the balance of the Blazer value. Then there are the Rockets and their impending destruction of the Sixers. And finally, everyone's least favorite team, the Bucks play against an awful defense in the Lakers. Let's get it on.

Point Guards

Ramon Sessions - FanDuel $5,700 DraftKings $5,700 DraftStreet $11,120 And
Brandon Knight - FanDuel $7,200 DraftKings $7,000 DraftStreet $13,136
I'll be playing both these guys for slightly different reasons besides that they're playing the Lakers. They are dudes with prices headed in slightly different directions, but you are about to meet them at the intersection of the value graph. Sessions is a guy whose price hasn't caught up to his new role as the starting shooting guard (who will also get run in blowouts-either way). Knight's price has dipped because of two bad game that saw him shoot about 25%. That is a blip. These guys make great plays today.

Patrick Beverley - FanDuel $5,200 DraftKings $5,100 DraftStreet $10,474
I'll go this direction in a few spots as well. His price is right where it won't kill you if he gets yanked in the fourth because of a blowout. I tend to not concern myself too terribly much with blowouts on short night because hedging against big spreads is tough with a limited player pool. Beverley is a nice price against a terrible opponent.

 

Shooting Guards

Xavier Henry - FanDuel $4,500 DraftKings $4,300 DraftStreet $9,619 or
Jodie Meeks - FanDuel $5,900 DraftKings $5,200 DraftStreet $10,796 or
Kent Bazemore - FanDuel $4,800 DraftKings $3,700 DraftStreet $8,679
Good luck. These guys all play decent minutes. They all score. They all get a great matchup with the shitty Bucks and SwaggyP might sit. I honestly could see starting two of them on all three sites. Choosing which will be the problem.

 

Small Forwards

Chandler Parsons - FanDuel $6,600 DraftKings $6,500 DraftStreet $12,658
The Rockets as big favorites means you need to grab someone who can hit value in an up and down game. I'm not going the Rockets route in every place, but definitely want to grab guys who won't completely sink the ship if they don't play the fourth. I see Parsons as that guy.

DeMarre Carroll - DraftKings $5,000
I had high hopes last night and he didn't pay off. Might have been the switch to the two. Might have just been bad luck. Still a depressed price here tonight.

 

Power Forwards

Blake Griffin - FanDuel $10,300 DraftKings $10,400 DraftStreet $21,016
Because there are so many cheaper options on the board tonight I think you need to have Blake in your lineups. Power forward is a bit rough and he makes by far the best big money value in that spot. Dallas is below average against power forwards and this game should stay close. I don't love a lot of other players in this game actually but I'm all in on Blake.

Jordan Hill - FanDuel $4,900 DraftKings $4,300
Foul trouble bit him and probably bit you as well because he was a heavy start the other night. I'm back on him tonight. He is a double/double waiting to happen against the Bucks front court and these prices are still well in the value range on these sites.

Terrence Jones - FanDuel $6,000 DraftKings $6,000 DraftStreet $12,564
Love him in this spot tonight with a faster paced game. He could hit value early, especially if some shots aren't falling with Jones hitting the glass.

Thaddeus Young - DraftStreet $14,334
Plays more than thirty minutes even in blowouts and this price is pretty nice on DS. I would be more inclined to play him here than Jones or Hill if I could squeeze it.

 

Centers

Center is the new small forward. It's been bad the last few nights and I don't love it tonight. Zaza Pachulia? Chris Kaman? Are you fucking kidding me? Even Dwight isn't someone I'm touching in a great matchup because the price is too risky. Leaving us with...

Henry Sims - FanDuel $5,300 DraftKings $4,700 DraftStreet $11,002
You know you want to do it. It doesn't feel sexy. It doesn't feel great. But he's seeing the minutes and has been productive. He's averaging a 15/12 over the last three games. Boom.
