Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftStreet
Another beautiful Sunday in the NBA, where the whole day stretches out before us like a glorious landscape. And I know we've got the whole NCAA thing happening, but that's amateur hour (literally). You need to roll with the pros. Let's take a look at some value plays. We've got a number of different picks today to satisfy the various time slots and site-specific considerations.

Point Guards
I'm not a huge fan of what's going on at point guard today. The big money guys are out of the picture, leaving some midrange and low end plays to consider.
Ricky Rubio - FanDuel $7,000 DraftKings $7,500 DraftStreet $13,356
The game with the Suns should be extremely high scoring and played at a breakneck pace. This should help Rubio and offer him plenty of opportunities to reach value. Phoenix is worse than league average against point guards, though not too terribly much considering their pace. I still think that Rubio hits his price today.
Goran Dragic - FanDuel $7,600 DraftKings $7,500 DraftStreet $13,853
There's no doubt that Dragic's production has taken a dip with the return of Bledsoe. But the price is dropping to meet his new shared responsibilities. He's a safe play here today against Rubio for many of the reasons Rubio is in play. Fast pace and plenty of opportunity.
Shaun Livingston - FanDuel $4,400 DraftKings $4,300
Just so super-solid at these prices and even has some upside on the right night. He played reduced minutes last game, but I'm not worried about a role change. He appears locked into the starting lineup and is safe for cash game play if you're looking for a way to get some bigger money options into your lineup.
Jarrett Jack - FanDuel $4,300
He sure doesn't do much considering how long he jogs around the court. But I'm still holding out hope for an upside game and this price still remains pretty close to punt territory for a guy whose minutes are solid.
Steve Nash - FanDuel $4,500 DraftKings $4,500 DraftStreet $8,140
Was kind of great in less than 20 minutes the other night. Lots of risk, but you can take a stab at him in a GPP if you think his minutes tick up even a bit.
Shooting Guards
Dion Waiters - FanDuel $5,600 DraftKings $5,800 DraftStreet $12,574
On the first two sites I am going to keep rolling Waiters as long as he's the "man" in Cleveland. I didn't put that in quotes to intimate he isn't a man, but rather to illustrate that Cleveland sucks if he is the go-to guy. Regardless, He hasn't taken as many shots as I thought when Kyrie went down, but he's actually pitching in more assists than expected. Getting close to the breaking point on DraftStreet, but I think you can still consider it.
Victor Oladipo - FanDuel $6,500 DraftKings $6,200 DraftStreet $11,128
Completely contingent on Nelson not playing. If Jameer is out again then I'd put Dipo in lineups based on the opponent and the upside. The Lakers, as you know, do not consider defense to be part of the basketball equation.
Eric Bledsoe - FanDuel $7,000 DraftKings $7,300 DraftStreet $13,820
Loving Bled-show tonight in this one against the T-Wolves. Minnesota is worse than league average against shooting guards, allowing 6% more scoring and rebounding respectively. If Bledsoe can get into the 15 shot range he has pretty significant upside.
Joe Johnson - FanDuel $5,800 DraftKings $5,800
Hate him in real life. Been loving him in DFS lately. JJ's been chucking from the rafters and getting shots to fall. Against a Dallas team that's slightly better than league average against shooting guards is where Johnson could hit the wall, but the prices still remain in the safe-ish range.
Giannis Antetokounmpo - FanDuel $4,000 DraftKings $3,800 DraftStreet $7,988
Nate Wolters is out for the season and if you're looking for a speculative GPP play, this might be the guy. He is alarmingly inconsistent, but the talent is there.
Bradley Beal - DraftStreet $10,465
Price has climbed elsewhere but he's still pretty cheap here.
Small Forwards
Thankfully other sites aren't as stringent with the small forward position. You'll be able to fill in the slot with other guys from this list. But FanDuel is a real problem. The options are downright gross. Two guys to consider are:
Rudy Gay - FanDuel $7,700 and
Trevor Ariza - FanDuel $6,600
Both aren't jumping off the page at me, but honestly there isn't much else out there.
DeMarre Carroll - DraftKings $4,700
Still very cheap here.
Power Forwards
Jordan Hill - FanDuel $4,300 DraftKings $3,600 DraftStreet $8,255
He is starting today and with the Lakers, who change lineups like most people change underwear (daily), you need to target the guys who will see increase in minutes. Hill came back after an extended absence and went 9/14 in close to thirty minutes. He should see the same amount of production tonight which is exactly what you need at these cheap salaries. I will have Hill everywhere today.
Carmelo Anthony - FanDuel $10,300 DraftKings $10,500 DraftStreet $19,881
Not at the top of the list, but Melo gets a pretty nice matchup against the Cavs who are without any real way to stop opposing small forwards (where Melo has been rolling with Amar'e in the starting lineup). Last night Parsons had little trouble scoring early and I think Anthony has a solid outing against a Cavs team that's also shown a little spark in staying in games against better opponents.
Tobias Harris - FanDuel $7,100 DraftKings $6,400 DraftStreet $12,480
Though he's coming off the bench I think you can play him today because of the opponent in the Lakers who basically suck equally against small and power forwards (wherever Harris ends up). You need to have exposure to this game from the Orlando side and Harris is one of the guys.
Drew Gooden - FanDuel $3,500 DraftKings $4,400
Dipped a bit in production from his unsustainable run, but man he's just getting crazy opportunity even in limited minutes. Denver is super trash against power forwards and Gooden will see minutes against the Nuggets' second unit which is even worse.
Amar'e Stoudemire - DraftKings $4,600
Still super low price on DK and getting great run.
Amir Johnson - FanDuel $6,100
If you are looking to make the money work, Amir looks decent tonight.
Centers
Kyle O'Quinn - FanDuel $4,800 DraftKings $4,100 DraftStreet $9,980
All about the matchup here tonight for O'Quinn who's been in the Magic starting lineup recently. He's been rolling at the four which is great for you because the Lakers don't really bother trying to stop any guy plays that position. They allow 14% more scoring and rebounding to the position. Even in limited minutes O'Quinn probably is safe.
DeMarcus Cousins - FanDuel $9,400 DraftKings $9,800 DraftStreet $19,627
Who exactly is Milwaukee planning on using to stop him? Zaza Pachulia? Boogie could put up a monster tonight. His price is getting steep on DraftStreet, but on a light night for centers, he's in play there as well.
Gorgui Dieng - FanDuel $5,200 DraftKings $4,700
Gorgeous Dong. Oh my. Who is this guy? He's been some kind of wonderful if you've had him in lineups. I mean, it's kind of crazy what he's been doing. His last game was a 22/21 line that had twitter melting down. His price jumped to 14K on DraftStreet which I think is a bit too speculative. But it's tempting.
Marcin Gortat - FanDuel $7,400 DraftKings $6,300 DraftStreet $14,383
Didn't seem to have any issues with his back once the game started the other night. If he's good to go tonight, the matchup against Mozgov along with a relatively small Denver team could have Gortat grabbing every available rebound.
