Point Guard

Cory Joseph - FD 4700 DK 5000 DFSTR 3000
Was a huge percentage start in cash games last night and I don't expect that to change really at all tonight (though it'll dip some on the performance) so long as Tony Parker is out again. Seeing as how Parker was ruled out long before game time, it doesn't seem like he's going to come back right away. Of course, this is worth monitoring leading into game time, but if Parker sits again then you are getting huge minutes out of a decent point guard for very low costs. And you might grab some extra value considering how bad he was Tuesday. But he played all the minutes and that means a lot at these prices.

Kemba Walker - FD 7200 DK 8000 DFSTR 7100
It's been some time since I put Walker on this list, but I think his price is at a point where you should strongly consider him in this matchup. The Celtics play at one of the fastest paces in the league and are allowing 7% more scoring than league average to opposing point guards. You are getting a lower priced starting PG who pushes above 35 minutes every night. He's prone to a disappearing act or two now and again. But I just love this matchup.

Jeff Teague - FD 7300 DK 8200 DFSTR 6400
If he plays his minutes Teague seems to pay these prices easily. It's just the minutes that are sometimes in question. Regardless, he's had some huge games of late I suspect this could be another one. If the Sixers stay scrappy even better as we want Teague getting full run. It's worth it to note that on the season Philly has been a bit better against point guards, but I think the pace of this game favors Teague.

Shooting Guard

Wesley Matthews - FD 6100 DK 6200 DFSTR 5100
I know some of this is Kevin Martin's fault, but overall the T-Wolves have been bruuuttaaaallll* against shooting guards this season. They are getting just blitzed by the position, allowing 12% more scoring and 13% more assists against the position. Just, as a whole, Minny can't defend these guys and I think Matthews is a fantastic value considering the matchup. He can, and has, paid 5X on this price and these are the matchups you look for especially in the mid tier of pricing.
*industry term

Jimmy Butler - FD 8100 DK 7300 DFSTR 5700
His price is still up there. But speaking of teams that can't defend the two, I submit to you the Brooklyn Nets. They are about as bad Minnesota and are really terrible at keeping opposing shooting guards from getting to the rim. Butler's usage of course drops when D-Rose is around, but without Noah tonight, I think some of that opportunity shifts just a little back toward Jimmy Buckets. I think the price tag will scare some people off, but the minutes are there without question and that really raises his floor.

Tyreke Evans - FD 7200 DK 7400 DFSTR 7400
He's at his best in the open court. Dallas plays an above average pace and a below average defensive efficiency. I think we could see a game in which Evans is creating and pushing the ball up the court. We saw a little of this last night against the Knicks (mostly because the Knicks miss a lot of shots). The value is very much there on Evans tonight.

Consider Monta Ellis and Kyle Korver

Small Forward

DeMarre Carroll - FD 5200 DK 5600 DFSTR 4600
In the right situations I really like Carroll for cash games. His price is completely reasonable for the amount of minutes he projects and His ability to both score and rebound keeps him as a quality add if you are looking for high-floor points. That he adds a steal or two in every once in a while just helps the case. Philly is dreadful against small forwards and I think you can safely put this guy in your double up lineups.

K.J. McDaniels - FD 5300 DK 5800 DFSTR 4400
Just a ridiculous talent that is quickly becoming one of those guys you want to flip over to when he enters the game. He's among the highest pts/$ plays on the board IF Wroten is out again tonight. If Wroten is back, I think that could cut in KJ's minutes some. Something to keep an eye on because it could be the KJ show here.

Kawhi Leonard - FD 7200 DK 7700 DFSTR 6200
He struggled early last night. But he showed in some ways why he is such a great cash game play. All those steal fo starters! He gets a nice matchup in this one against a Knicks squad that's below average in defedning the small forward especially when it comes to assists and rebounds. Kawhi's usage rate goes up with Parker out of the lineup so I'd give him a boost if Parker can't go. Don't let last night's struggles sway you here. This is a solid price in an above average matchup.

Consider Chandler Parsons and Paul Pierce

Power Forward

Kris Humphries - FD 4900 DK 5100 DFSTR 3800
He appears very much locked into the minutes at the power forward for the Wiz. Now this changes some if Nene is back tonight (I hope he isn't) because that eats into Humphries minutes. Though it should be noted that Kris played an average of thirty minutes in the two games Nene was back. I think Humphries is a rather safe option considering the price even if Nene is back, and is practically a must start if Nene is out again. Humphries just rebounds like an animal.

Taj Gibson - FD 5700 DK 5500 DFSTR 5300
Nikola Mirotic - FD 4900 DK 5000 DFSTR 3000
Pau Gasol - FD 9300 DK 9000 DFSTR 8000
This is a situation to watch heading into game time. Joakim Noah is out tonight meaning two thirds of these guys (and possibly all three) stands to see some big time minutes. With most guys like Taj coming back from injury I'd be worried about the minutes. But this is Thibs we are talking about and Thibs cares not for silly things like minutes restrictions. It helps that Brooklyn is without Brook Lopez down low. Again, keep an eye out for what happens here but I think all three of these guys could make value plays today.

Jared Sullinger - FD 6700 DK 7300 DFSTR 7000
Brad Stevens sent a pretty clear message to his starters the other night when he basically benched them in favor of the second unit for most of the second half and OTs against the Wiz. Sullinger was one of the victims. Don't expect it to happen again. He is coming at a great price tonight thanks to the other night's fiasco and is facing a Charlotte team allowing 16% more scoring than league average to opposing power forwards. Sullinger is averaging almost nine rebounds a game and this could be a double-double for him tonight.

Strongly consider Nerlens Noel

Center

Chris Bosh - FD 8500 DK 8500 DFSTR 7500
Centers hasn't been easy lately. With guys like Dwight (maybe back tonight) and Boogie shelved for long periods the picking have been rather thin and over priced. Bosh is up there in salary tonight, but I think the matchup against Denver is solid. Bosh is a scoring center and Denver allows ten percent more than league average scoring to opposing centers. Going to the thin air of Denver is never easy for opposing teams so keep that in mind. But I think Bosh is the best and safest option at the position today.

Al Horford - FD 6900 DK 7200 DFSTR 7300
Horford is priced for who he is: a guy that shows up big in some games, and hardly shows up at all some other times. Tonight's matchup against the Sixers is fine enough in what should be a higher scoring affair. It's worth it to note that the Sixers have kept opposing centers under league average scoring (though that stat could be a little noisy). Because of his price and matchup I suspect you see Horford as a big percentage start tonight and I wouldn't begrudge the decision.

Al Jefferson - FD 8300 DK 8400 DFSTR 7900
The Celtics are pretty bad a defending the five. They especially have trouble keeping opposing big men from scoring. Al Jeff has some big games in him so I'd consider the play for a GPP style. But there re too many nights he (and the Hornets) disappear. That part of it has me worried.
