Point Guard/ Shooting Guard

Bradley Beal is going to sit this game out, and the Phoenix Suns get to play the Detroit Pistons. Do we really need a ton more explanation here? Devin Booker is in an elite spot to pile on fantasy points against one of the worst defenses in the league, playing point guard for this group. He’s consistently playing close to 40 minutes in close games, ripping off 30+ point performances in two of his last three. The usage and assists should tick up considerably here, and the matchup is a choice.

James Harden FD - $8800 DK - $8800
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 46.55 DK - 50.37

Kawhi Leonard has already been ruled out of this game, meaning we are in a spot to stack James Harden and Paul George for cash games. With Kawhi off the court, Harden has the second-highest usage among the starters at 23.2%, up from 20% on the season. The assists tick up as well, as the ball is in his hands more. His price has fallen on both sites because the Clippers have been at full strength for so long. It’s time to take advantage of Kawhi missing this game.

Cole Anthony FD - $5100 DK - $3700
Opponent - NY
Proj Pts FD - 26.89 DK - 29.24

Markelle Fultz has been ruled out, and that should mean Cole Anthony spiking minutes or maybe even starting this game. Anthony’s minutes have been all over the place with the Magic getting healthier, plus there’s some risk that Anthony Black starts. But seeing as how this dude is coming at just $3700 on DraftKings, I don’t see how we don’t take a chance on him in cash games there.

Tre Mann FD - $6000 DK - $5000
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 33.91 DK - 38.15

One of the biggest trade deadline performance upticks we’ve seen is Tre Mann who came over from OKC, and instantly jumped into the Hornets’ starting lineup. Over the last two games, he’s averaging 10 points, eight assists, and 6.5 rebounds with minutes in the 30s. The price on DraftKings hasn’t moved enough for the new role.

Small Forward

Kevin Durant FD - $10000 DK - $9900
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 52.46 DK - 55.15

Like we said with Devin Booker, Bradley Beal is out for this game, meaning a majority of the offense is going to flow through Booker and Kevin Durant. That’s a good place to be against the Pistons, who rank 28th in defensive efficiency this season. He’s been a 53/44/87 splits guy on the season with 6.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists to go along with the scoring efficiency. The price is a little steeper than we might like, but he has such a high floor, considering the context.

Paul George FD - $8200 DK - $7700
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 44.11 DK - 47.12

With Kawhi Leonard off the court, Paul George has the highest usage on the Clippers at 30.5%. He’s set to take a lot of shots here against the Warriors in a game with a 237 total. Like with James Harden, seeing as how the Clippers have been healthy, PG’s price has dipped considerably on both sites. A reminder that the Clippers aren’t on the DraftKings main slate, but George should see ownership on FanDuel, seeing as how he’s in the low-$8K tier with big-time upside.

Strongly consider Brandon Miller (FD 7000 DK 7100)

Power Forward/ Center

Anthony Davis FD - $11200 DK - $10100
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 60.76 DK - 60.41

LeBron James has already been ruled out for this game, which puts Anthony Davis in the cash game crosshairs. He gets a good matchup against the Utah Jazz, and Davis sees usage and rebounding bumps with LBJ off the court. He’s already putting up big numbers on the season, and last time without LeBron, AD went for 26 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to the Blazers. The defensive stats give him big upside on FanDuel as well, with the minutes projecting as very safe here.

Jaren Jackson Jr. FD - $8800 DK - $8100
Opponent - HOU
Proj Pts FD - 49.51 DK - 51.27

Jaren Jackson Jr. has such a high floor right now because the usage has gone to the moon with the rest of the original Memphis starters hurt and out of the mix. Over the last four games, JJJ is averaging 21.6 shots with 26 points, four rebounds, 2.6 blocks plus steals. His rebounding has taken a bit of a hit, but the scoring more than makes up for it. His biggest issue is staying out of foul trouble coupled with the Grizzlies staying games. But seeing as how they are making him option A, I think we can swing it.

Bruno Fernando FD - $4000 DK - $3600
Opponent - CHA
Proj Pts FD - 26.11 DK - 27.21

Both Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu are out for this game, leaving the Hawks very thin in the frontcourt. It should mean Bruno Fernando gets the starting nod at center with double-double upside in his range of outcomes if the minutes are there. They should be considering the context and the lower-tier prices on both sites mean he is likely one of the highest-owned guys on Wednesday.
