The Nuggets draw a great matchup against the Pacers on Tuesday with the latter running the second-fastest pace in the league while registering the 26th-ranked defense. There’s a reason this game has a 243 over/under, easily the highest of the whole slate. Jamal Murray has been running big minutes of late, averaging 38 over the last four, all in regulation.
The scoring can come and go, relatively speaking, but that’s also mostly keeping his price from reaching the $9K range. I love the matchup and the price on FanDuel specifically. It might be tough to roster Jokic in this game if you are rolling with Anthony Davis, but Murray gives you a chance to get exposure to this game.

From a fantasy and projections perspective, LeBron James did us a huge favor early by announcing that he wasn’t going to play this game against the Clippers. While it doesn’t give the Lakers a leg up, it certainly gives us plenty of lead time on this situation from a DFS standpoint.
D'Angelo Russell was already back in the starting lineup before this move, and he’ll ring in as one of the better fantasy plays here, considering the usage bump he gets with LBJ off the court. It goes from 22% to 26%, the second-highest on the team after Anthony Davis. The assists climb as well, with the ball in his hands more.
His price isn’t reflective of the Lakers missing their point guard and overall GOAT.

It was announced that Tyrese Haliburton will miss the next three games due to his hamstring injury, which in theory, should mean a ton of run for TJ McConnell. Unfortunately, that isn’t as surefire a thing as we thought, considering what happened last game.
McConnell started and then played a whopping (read: horrific) 12 minutes against the Suns. This is a disturbing number considering the role, yet when he’s out there this dude is about as good as it gets from a fantasy per-minute standpoint. If he were to start again, I think I’d run him once more. But this is riskier than we would have thought before.

Meanwhile, Austin Reaves should see a significant uptick in opportunity as well, and he’s been back in the starting lineup for the Lakers as well, a unit they’ve shifted around throughout the season. Reaves climbs from a 20% usage to 23% with LeBron off, and the assists see a 6% bump as well. As long as the Lakers can keep this game against the Clippers close, then Reaves should be able to pay off these prices. I expect him and DLo to be among the higher-owned players on the slate.

Jabari Walker appears cemented in the Portland Trailblazers’ starting lineup for now with Shaedon Sharpe still dealing with injury. It’s meant more consistent minutes for the young wing, averaging 28 over the last couple of weeks. He lost run in a blowout last game, which is always a risk, but this guy is averaging 10 points and eight rebounds over that stretch, with the ability to double-double if the games stays close. I don’t think the DraftKings price has fully caught up to the opportunity.

The big prize in LeBron James sitting on Tuesday is Anthony Davis, who will likely see massive ownership on this slate. Not only is he already having an awesome season, averaging 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks+ steals, but he gets usage and rebound upticks with James over the court. Sure, he commands more attention, but the Clippers aren’t exactly suited to cover his exact type of game and skill. The DraftKings price is a joke though the FanDuel salary at least makes it close.

It’s been an up-and-down season for Zion Williamson so far, and that’s reflected in the prices on both DraftKings and FanDuel. He’s coming on the cheaper side in both places, though there’s risk in rostering him on a nightly basis. The rebounding numbers haven’t been prolific so he is reliant on scoring to hit his value.
Dude is coming off an 11-17 game in the loss to the Suns and had put up back-to-back 30-point games last week. The matchup against the Jazz is a good one and the Pelicans are in a good spot here.

Rui Hachimura should be a popular play on both sites tonight under the assumption that he draws the start for the Lakers in place of LeBron James. Rui is coming so cheap and should see minutes trend towards 30 in this role. Does he have a ton of upside? Probably not. But the floor should be there considering we’ve seen him put up solid scoring numbers when given more minutes.
