Point Guard/ Shooting Guard

Coby White FD - $7400 DK - $6900
Opponent - CHA
Proj Pts FD - 34.15 DK - 37.56

The Bulls are still going to be without Zach Lavine for Wednesday’s game, and that means a big helping of Coby White and DeMar DeRozan once again. For White (we’ll get to DDR in a second) it could mean another game close to the 40 minutes he played against the Pelicans on Saturday. In that one, he took 17 shots and finished with 31 points, along with nine rebounds and six assists. The Bulls get one of the best DFS matchups on the slate here against Charlotte, and though White’s price has risen, he’s still very much a play.

Cam Thomas FD - $6700 DK - $7100
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 40.91 DK - 43.17

A very encouraging sign in Brooklyn was the number of minutes Cam Thomas ran over the weekend against the Orlando Magic. Though he struggled in the shooting department, going 7-23 from the field, he did run 38 minutes in all and ended up with five assists, a second-best for his career. Now he’ll get another chance at a high-usage game against a Hawks team that lacks a ton in point-of-attack defense. I like the price on both sites and don’t think it’s been fully adjusted to a starting role with a bigger minutes load.

Killian Hayes FD - $5400 DK - $5400
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 26.82 DK - 27.25

Do the Pistons know what they are doing? It sure doesn’t seem like it. But can we consider some of their guys in fantasy for now? Sure. Killian Hayes stuck in the starting lineup with a backcourt of Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey as well, and I think that is going to be how they run things again. He played 33 minutes, went 6-11 from the field, and finished with 13 points. He will tick in the defensive stats as well, and I think the floor is high enough in what should at least be a close game against the Grizzlies.

Consider Keyonte George (FD 5800 DK 6700) and Collin Sexton (FD 5200 DK 5800) against the Mavericks. Both should see plenty of minutes, with Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen out again for Utah.

Small Forward

DeMar DeRozan FD - $7700 DK - $8000
Opponent - CHA
Proj Pts FD - 43.47 DK - 44.85

As we said with Coby White, DeMar DeRozan is a big fantasy beneficiary of Zach Lavine sitting in the short-term and should be in line for another game of major minutes run. Like White, he played 40 against the Pels, finishing with 24 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds when it was all said and done. The 18 shots were a team-high, and he’s a favorite to lead the Bulls in usage once again. The FanDuel price didn’t come anywhere close to adjusting properly for this opportunity and matchup. I suspect he’s a chalkier play there.

Desmond Bane FD - $8200 DK - $8900
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 46.15 DK - 48.79

The Grizzlies draw a great matchup against the Pistons, who have lost infinity games in a row and are about as bad a basketball team as you’ll find in the NBA. Bane only played 30 minutes against the Suns on Saturday, but that was largely due to foul trouble. He still managed to get up 17 shots and totaled 27 points plus five assists. Now he’ll face a Detroit team playing a bottom-third defensive efficiency and a top-6 pace. That lines up pretty well for Bane and the rest of the Grizzlies here.

Power Forward/ Center

Orlando Robinson FD - $4500 DK - $5000
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 30.62 DK - 33.22

Bam Adebayo will miss another game here on Wednesday, and the Heat should, once again, start Orlando Robinson in his spot. Robinson played 29 minutes in the role on Saturday, tallying 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists in all against the Pacers. The Raptors don’t offer the same upside kind of matchup, but his price didn’t move enough off of this new opportunity. And we’ve seen this guy fill it up in the past when given center run without Bam.

Duop Reath FD - $4000 DK - $3200
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 22.75 DK - 25.29

Jabari Walker FD - $4300 DK - $4400
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 24.2 DK - 25.91

The Portland Trailblazers are going to be without both Jerami Grant and DeAndre Ayton in this game. That’s going to mean quite a few frontcourt minutes opening up for this team. And it should stand to reason that a bunch go to these two guys.

It stands to reason that Duop Death gets the start, though I’m not sure how many minutes we can count on him for even in that role. That being said, he’s coming very cheap on both sites, especially DraftKings, and wouldn’t need to do a ton to hit value at these salaries. He’s not a super dynamic fantasy guy, but the opportunity should be here.

Meanwhile, Jabari Walker is a much better fantasy point-per-minute guy when given the opportunity, and that should be here more off the bench. There’s even a chance he grabs the start. We might not have that news before lineup lock, but I think we can almost even take the risk when building lineups early. He has double-double potential if he gets to mid-to-high 20s minutes.
