Quarterbacks

Dak Prescott FD 8500 DK 6800
Opponent WAS
Proj Points FD - 22.36 DK - 22.36

The Cowboys come in with Thanksgiving’s biggest point total as -11 home favorites against the Commanders. Prescott is coming off a rougher game against the Panthers from the statical side, but it was also an easy win for Dallas and the starters were pulled in the 4th quarter. The three games before that saw him throwing for more than 300 yards in each with 11 total touchdowns to just two interceptions.

Now he’ll face a weaker defense from Washington and there’s a reason the Boys are big favorites. Dak has a high floor and the DraftKings price doesn’t make you think too hard.

Brock Purdy FD 7700 DK 6100
Opponent SEA
Proj Points FD - 18.02 DK - 18.02

With the 49ers offense back at full strength in the skill position department over the last couple of weeks, Purdy has been awesome, completing 78% of his passes and throwing six touchdowns to no interceptions. It’s been as efficient as a quarterback can really and he’s coming off a week that saw him as the chalk QB option on DraftKings. That could be the case again here considering there’s savings off of Dak in order to fill out the rest of the lineup.

Running Back

Tony Pollard FD 7200 DK 6700
Opponent WAS
Proj Points FD - 17.6 DK - 19.64

It happened folks! Tony Pollard actually found the endzone again in Week 11 after not touching pay dirt since Week 1. He was also as efficient as he’s been all season, averaging more than five yards per carry on his 12 carries. Plus there were five targets in the passing game as well. Now, he’s coming into this one in the running back sweet spot again as big home favorites against a bad defensive line. Let’s run Pollard out there again and hope he can keep it going.

Zach Charbonnet FD 5800 DK 5300
Opponent SF
Proj Points FD - 16.3 DK - 17.97

It’s not amazing rostering running backs from big underdogs, but if the back projects to be used in all facets of the game then it makes it a bit easier from a script standpoint. That should be the case with Zach Charbonnet who projects to be the workhorse for Seattle with Kenneth Walker likely not playing. Charbonnet saw 85% of the running back snaps in Week 11, totaling 15 carries and six targets. The yards didn’t come in huge amounts, but he should have the full opportunity here and is coming way too cheap.

Strongly consider Brian Robinson against the Cowboys. Yes, he’s also a big underdog, but with Antonio Gibson out in Week 11, he totaled 26 total touches (17 carries, 9 targets). It could be the case again here.

If Aaron Jones is out then AJ Dillon could see most of the Packers’ backfield work. But they are underdogs and he hasn’t been terribly efficient.

Wide Receiver

Amon-Ra St. Brown FD 8500 DK 8500
Opponent GB
Proj Points FD - 20.49 DK - 25.38

In terms of seeing targets, it’s hard to beat Amon-Ra St. Brown on this, or really any other slate. He’s 11th in the league in targets though has one or two fewer games played than just about anyone on the list above him. He’s get a plus (ish) matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving and doesn’t break the bank completely when putting together lineups. Because we aren’t likely to spend tons on running back (unless you roster CMC), there is room to fit a couple of more expensive wideouts on this slate.

CeeDee Lamb FD 9200 DK 8700
Opponent WAS
Proj Points FD - 20.32 DK - 24.33

Speaking of more expensive wide receivers, CeeDee Lamb is the other way to go on this slate. He’s been one of the best in the game over the last four weeks even with a “down” game against the Panthers. Over that stretch he’s averaging 13.25 targets and 134.5 yards with a combined four touchdowns. The Cowboys have made him the go-to option in the offense and it’s paying off in a big way.

After these two guys, I think we can mostly skip the middle tier and work to get some cheaper WR options in order to fill out lineups. Jayden Reed is still playing a lot of snaps and also got three designed runs last week.

Jahan Dotson is still coming cheap, though for a reason.

Tight End

Logan Thomas FD 5200 DK 3500
Opponent DAL
Proj Points FD - 8.99 DK - 11.39

Logan Thomas has seen at least five targets in each of the last five weeks though the yardage total is on the lower side because of where he generally runs his routes. That being said, the tight end position isn’t all that robust on this slate so we are mostly looking to get out of things cheap with just enough to know that they are part of the offense.

Luke Musgrave FD 5000 DK 3300
Opponent DET
Proj Points FD - 6.77 DK - 8.41

Musgrave fits much of the same theme in that he’s been seeing 5-6 targets a game within the Packers offense. There are more expensive options like George Kittle and Sam LaPorta but I don’t think their pass-catching volume is enough to think about making concessions elsewhere in the lineup.
