Lopez will be looking to pick up where he left off as he entered the break red-hot with a complete-game, 12 K, shutout and recorded a 2.72 ERA/3.03 xFIP over his last six starts. The strikeout total was no fluke either as he has tallied double-digits in two of his last three starts with a 30.5% K rate over those last six while averaging 26.5 DK/45.2 FD points per start. He is not only almost $3K cheaper than Strider on DraftKings, he also gets a better matchup against an A's team that is bottom 3 in almost all offensive categories. Fire up Lopez in all formats.
Also Consider: Andrew Abbott(CIN) who will be looking for revenge against the Brewers who handed him his first career loss. No matter what happened last game, it is a great matchup as the Brewers strike out more than any other team vs left-handed pitching(27.5%). George Kirby(SEA) will be looking to continue his consistent play as he went into the break allowing two or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts for a 2.18 ERA/3.50 xFIP and 21.8 DK points per start

The Yankees let us down last night in Coors but you can bet we are going back to the well given the affordable pricing making lineup construction a whole lot easier. I will be starting with Rizzo who has mostly been disappointing lately not recoding multiple hits since late June but checks a lot of boxes tonight. He still has a ton of power from the left side and the better news is that he faces Connor Seabold who has had his issues against lefties giving up a .390 wOBA and over two home runs per nine innings. At these prices, Rizzo is my top play at first tonight in all formats.
Also Consider: If spending up, Matt Olson(ATL) is the easy choice as he is red-hot and gets an excellent matchup against a pitcher who struggles mightily against lefties or for value, LaMonte Wade(SFG) who is projected to leadoff for the Giants and has hits in four of his last five games
Opponent - CHW (Lance Lynn) Park - CHW
FD - 12.82 DK - 9.86
While the plan is to save a bit on bats and pay up for pitching, I have to mention at least one Braves' bat and Albies stands out as an excellent PTS/$ option to get some exposure if not stacking. First of all, he is hitting second behind Acuna and in front of Olson who are both over $6K on DraftKings. He also went into the break playing some of his best ball of the season as he has tallied a .305/.361/.632 slash line since mid-June. He faces Lance Lynn who has had his flashback moments this season but this is the top offence in baseball and he has really struggled against lefties giving up an ugly .431 wOBA adn 16 home runs in the split. Fire up Albies in all formats.
Also Consider: Gleyber Torres(NYY) who is slated to leadoff once again in Coors and has three straight multi-hit games during a five-game hit streak

If we are going to be spending up for pitching tonight we better take a look at some value plays and the shortstop position provides us a few options. Both of these guys stand out in the system from a PTS/$ standpoint as both are projected to leadoff for their respective teams. Dubon is a high-contact hitter and while he went into the break cold, he picked up a hit last night but stands out more for his splits as he has been terrific against lefties with a .383 wOBA/148 wRC+. For Abrams, it's a lefty/lefty matchup but since being moved to the leadoff spot he has gone 6 for 14 and stolen four bases. At these prices, I am willing to roster either in all formats.
Also Consider: Carlos Correa(MIN) who is leading off for the Twins in a plus matchup against Hogan Harris and the league-worst A's bullpen
Opponent - SD (Ryan Weathers) Park - SD
FD - 7.78 DK - 6.04
More value at third base and it comes as a DraftKings-only play with it being the only site including game two of this double-header. Bohm is likely not a really popular play but comes in under $4K and while the numbers are average overall(.284/.333/.432 slash line), he is much better against lefties(.387 wOBA/143 wRC+/.274 ISO). He also gets a plus matchup against Ryan Weathers who has given up four or more earned runs in four of his last six starts and at least one home run in five of those six games. Fire up Bohm in all formats.
Also Consider: Josh Donaldson(NYY) hitting 5th in the Yankees lineup in Coors
Opponent - COL (Connor Seabold) Park - COL
FD - 15.53 DK - 11.58

This close this out with another trip to Coors Field. Despite the disappointing overall effort last night, Stanton came through for us with a home run, a double and both RBI and remains the same price on both sites on Saturday. He now has home runs in two of his last three games(3 total) and is underpriced for a matchup in the best hitters' park in the league. For Bader, he has benefited from a move up the lineup with Aaron Judge out of the lineup. He hasn't exactly popped off but that has kept the price down making him a nice PTS/$ value centered around opportunity. I don't think he is a must for cash games, but is a nice addition to a full Yankees' stack in GPP formats.
Also Consider: Nick Castellanos(PHI) who, like his teammate Bohm, has been terrific against left-handed pitching with a .393 wOBA and 147 wRC+
