Ja Morant is still away from the Memphis Grizzlies and that’s shaping up to be a longer-term thing than a quick couple of days hiatus. It means that these guards will continue to be plays even with the price climbing in the short term. Considering Ja Morant has a whopping 37% usage rate on the season, there are some shots to fill in here. Bane is coming off a 22-shot performance on against the Clippers on Sunday and his usage rate climbs to 28.4% with Morant off the court this season. He’s a fantastic play at these prices.
And then there is Tyus Jones who has a 30% assist rate with Morant out of the mix this season and gets the usage up to 19% as well. His price is on the rise, but remember, he’s coming off a 25-point, 12-assist game of his own. He’s set to play big minutes going forward considering how thin the Grizzlies now are in the backcourt.

Stephen Curry returned from injury on Sunday, stepping in to play 32 minutes right out of the game. He struggled a bit from the field, going 8-20 and 5-13 from three. But this is Curry we are talking about so there’s no real reason to sweat short-term results. He’ll get a good matchup against the Thunder here who play fast and the Warriors have a 120 implied total. Curry’s FanDuel price makes it pretty easy to fit him into lineups and we are buying a bit low.
If Jalen Brunson is out again then Immanuel Quickley (FD 7300 DK 5000) makes for a lock DraftKings play. He’s coming off a monster game against the Celtics on Sunday.
Alec Burks (FD 5000 DK 4100) would be an option once again if Killian Hayes sat out for the second game in a row.

Though the Nets traded away Kevin Durant, which is never a good thing, they have at least gotten back production from Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson who came back from the Suns. Bridges has been particularly masterful since coming over, playing huge minutes in the last two and averaging 31 points and seven rebounds in that stretch. He’s been super efficient from the field and has become the team’s go-to scorer.
And then there is Cameron Johnson who I averaging 21 points and 5.7 rebounds over the last three even though he’s shooting under his career numbers from three in that stretch. The Rockets are a great matchup, ranking second-to-last in defensive efficiency on the season and playing at an above average pace. The Nets, as a team, are in a good spot here.
If the Sixers are without Tobias Harris and PJ Tucker again then we can fire up Jalen McDaniels (FD 4000 DK 3100) for the second day in a row.

The Lakers are still without LeBron James and still very much need to win games here to have a shot at the playoffs. That’s going to mean a lot of Anthony Davis and he gets a good matchup against a depleted Memphis Grizzlies team that is banged up in the front court. Davis has scored 39 and 38 points in back-to-back games. And before that he had seven straight games of double-digit rebounds in the books as well. We are getting a great price on him over on DraftKings where he is actually a pretty easy play.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is one of the best, per-minute fantasy scorers in the game thanks in large part to the defensive upside. But the foul stuff gets him in trouble and he can get buzzed off run very easily. But the Grizzlies are really shorthanded in the front court right now with Steven Adams out and Brandon Clarke lost for the season. JJJ played 35 minutes last game and it stands to reason Memphis will push the minutes even more now. I think we are kind of buying low on both sites, but especially on FanDuel because of the extra added bonus of the defensive stat scoring.
If Wendell Cart Jr. remains out then Moritz Wagner (FD 4400 DK 3900) would make a plug-and-play option on both sites if he was in the starting lineup once again.
