Lions Passing Game
Jared Goff FD 7400 DK 5600
Opponent CHI
Proj Points FD - 20.28 DK - 20.28
Amon-Ra St. Brown FD 8200 DK 7800
Opponent CHI
Proj Points FD - 20.5 DK - 25.31
DJ Chark FD 6000 DK 4300
Opponent CHI
Proj Points FD - 8.13 DK - 9.81
There is no avoiding the chalk with this stack as it the game has the highest total(51.5) on the slate and looking at the Lions' home games in 2022, seven of eight have hit 53 or more and exceeded 60 three times. In these teams' first meeting in Chicago, they combined for 61 points. Everything points to a shootout so let's get as much exposure as possible across all formats.
The stack starts with Jared Goff as a value option as he is somehow outside the Top 10 in QB pricing on DraftKings this week. He has arguably been the best fantasy QB in football lately throwing for 300 or more yards in three of his last five games while averaging 23 DraftKings points per game during that stretch. You can most definitely double-stack here as both top receivers have been doing damage lately, as well. It starts with Amon-Ra St. Brown who has been a target monster collecting eight or more in nine straight with double-digits in six of those games. While he has only tallied three touchdowns in those games, he has averaged 86 receiving yards and 19.5 DK/14.7 FD points per game. DJ Chark Jr. has also stepped up and been a big contributor lately, as well, with 90 or more receiving yards in three of his last four games.
Against a Bears defence that is dead last in overall defensive efficiency and 29th in DVOA against the pass, this is my core stack in week 17.
Game Stack - Vikings @ Packers
Dalvin Cook FD 8300 DK 7000
Opponent GB
Proj Points FD - 17.46 DK - 18.84
Aaron Rodgers FD 7100 DK 6000
Opponent MIN
Proj Points FD - 19.66 DK - 19.66
Allen Lazard FD 6200 DK 5400
Opponent MIN
Proj Points FD - 12.02 DK - 14.38
This is another game that will be stacked a ton as it has the second-highest total(48) and has two defence's with glaring weaknesses going head to head. The Packers, with their top corner Jaire Alexander probably do a much better job against Justin Jefferson than in their first meeting which has me going a different route for this stack. It starts with the Vikings run game and Dalvin Cook which should be able to exploit the Packers who come into this week ranked dead last in DVOA against the rush while allowing the 6th most rushing yards per game(144.4) and 9th most fantasy points to the running back position. Cook has been up and down this season and doesn't usually make my cash game lineup but for GPP, he gets a ton of volume and has eclipsed 25 DraftKings points four times this season.
If the Vikings can get out front early where Cook can get 20+ touches, the correlation I like in this stack is the Packers passing game led by Aaron Rodgers. It has been tough if you have been backing him over the course of the season as he has hit 20 DK points just once but has a terrific shot this week as the Vikings' defence, especially the secondary has been atrocious. They have given up 400+ yards on defense and 300+ yards passing in six of their last seven games. Rodgers could be without Christian Watson would open up value in Allen Lazard who has double-digit DraftKings points in nine of 13 games this season and faces a Vikings defence that has given up the 2nd most fantasy points to wideouts. I would also consider rookie Romeo Doubs in a double-stack scenario with the Packers' passing game.
Other options in this game stack: Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson(MIN) and stack them with AJ Dillon or Aaron Jones(GB)
