Quarterbacks

Dak Prescott FD 7700 DK 6700
Opponent CIN
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Cooper Rush FD 6100 DK 5000
Opponent CIN
Proj Points FD - 11.81 DK - 12.44

Prescott underwent surgery on his thumb and while he was not placed on the IR, he will miss multiple games paving the way for Cooper Rush to take over under center. It is a huge downgrade not only at the position but also affects the entire offense as a whole and the reason I have listed it here. The biggest downgrade goes to CeeDee Lamb who not only gets another tough matchup against the Bengals but has also seen his price increase from week one. This Cowboys offense is a full fade for me until Dak comes back.

Zach Wilson FD 6400 DK 5000
Opponent CLE
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Joe Flacco FD 6400 DK 5100
Opponent CLE
Proj Points FD - 11.53 DK - 12.14

Another offense I will be fading until their quarterback returns is the New York Jets with backup Joe Flacco under center. Wilson could return as soon as Week 4.

Running Backs

Alvin Kamara FD 7200 DK 7400
Opponent TB
Proj Points FD - 11.7 DK - 13.05

Kamara showed up on the injury report this week after sustaining a rib injury in the Saints win last week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and while he attended practice on Thursday, he did not partake in any drills. He is listed as questionable for their Week 2 matchup against the Bucs and the downside for the Saints here is that backup running back Mark Ingram is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Best to avoid the Saints backfield this week.

D'Andre Swift FD 8200 DK 7000
Opponent WAS
Proj Points FD - 15.85 DK - 17.59

Swift is dealing with an ankle injury and was a non-participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. While listed as questionable for the Lions week 2 matchup against the Commanders, Swift did return to practice on Friday and is likely to play.

Leonard Fournette FD 7800 DK 6700
Opponent NO
Proj Points FD - 14.1 DK - 15.36

Fournette was limited at practice both Wednesday and Thursday but is expected to play and could see an extended role as the Bucs are dealing with a ton of injuries to their receivers.

J.K. Dobbins FD 6000 DK 5300
Opponent MIA
Proj Points FD - 6.53 DK - 6.53

For the first time since 2020, Dobbins has logged back-to-back full practices after surgery to repair an ACL tear he sustained before the start of last season. This is great news for the Ravens who got absolutely nothing from backups Mike Davis(2 rushes for 11 yards) and Kenyan Drake(11 rushes for 31 yards, 1 catch for 15 yards) in a plus game script week one where they beat the Jets 24-9. I would be cautious with Dobbins until we see more but it is something to watch for on Sunday.

Elijah Mitchell FD 6900 DK 5000
Opponent SEA
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Jeff Wilson Jr. FD 6300 DK 5100
Opponent SEA
Proj Points FD - 3.64 DK - 4.97

Mitchell sustained an MCL sprain in week one and was placed on IR this week and expected to miss up to two months of action. This brings Jeff Wilson Jr. into play and when called upon in 2021, he got the volume averaging 16.8 carries and 65.3 rushing yards across four starts. This is also a good spot to buy low on Wilson as he gets a plus matchup(-9 favourites) against the Seahawks who gave up over five yards per carry to Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams on Monday Night Football.

Najee Harris FD 7200 DK 6200
Opponent NE
Proj Points FD - 4.35 DK - 5.89

Things were not looking great for Harris early in the week but the good news is that he returned to full practice participation both Thursday and Friday and will play in a home matchup against the Patriots.

Wide Receivers

Mike Evans FD 8300 DK 6800
Opponent NO
Proj Points FD - 13.36 DK - 15.99

Chris Godwin FD 7000 DK 6200
Opponent NO
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Julio Jones FD 5700 DK 5500
Opponent NO
Proj Points FD - 9.25 DK - 11.21

Russell Gage FD 6100 DK 4800
Opponent NO
Proj Points FD - 6.78 DK - 8.33

The one thing we know for sure out this mess of a situation in Tampa Bay is that Chris Godwin has already been ruled out. The other three have practiced in a limited capacity all week and all were on the practice field on Friday. The Bucs play on the early slate of games on Sunday so at least we will know before the slate locks. Definitely stay tuned for more news on this situation.

Michael Pittman Jr. FD 7800 DK 6700
Opponent JAX
Proj Points FD - 13.79 DK - 16.88

Coming off an excellent week one, Pittman sustained a quad injury at practice on Wednesday and is now considered questionable on Sunday. Like the Bucs situation, the Colts play on the early slate of games so we will know before lock. With rookie Alec Pierce already ruled out, Pittman missing the game would be an upgrade for Parris Campbell but more than anything would likely mean a very heavy workload for Jonathan Taylor.

Tee Higgins FD 7000 DK 5900
Opponent DAL
Proj Points FD - 12.02 DK - 14.5

Higgins is still in the concussion protocol but is expected to clear by Saturday and is fully expected to paly in week two.

Rondale Moore FD 5300 DK 4100
Opponent LV
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Andy Isabella FD 4800 DK 3000
Opponent LV
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Both these wideouts have already been ruled out for week two so expect another heavy target share for Marquise Brown and A.J. Green. Greg Dortsch could also make a punt play in GPP formats as the WR3.

Tight Ends

George Kittle FD 6100 DK 5900
Opponent SEA
Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0

Returned to a limited practice on Friday with coach Shanahan saying "he looked awesome". You may not want to pay up for him in fantasy but Kittle playing would be a huge upgrade to the running game as he is one of the best blocking tight ends in the league.
