Game Stack - Chiefs vs. Titans

It will be a full stars and scrubs build if game stacking the Titans and Chiefs this week as Henry and Mahomes, the two top plays in this game, are both at the top of the price range at their positions. This might lower their ownership a bit considering the difficulty building out the rest of the lineup but either way, this is a very high upside situation.

Mahomes and the KC passing game face a Titans defense that is 27th in DVOA defense against the pass(via FantasyOutsiders) and rank 29th and 32nd in fantasy points against QB's and WR's respectively. While I would prefer to pair him with Kelce or Hill, it just isn't feasible if you want to run it back with Henry so I prefer Mecole Hardman in this spot. He is the WR2 for the Chiefs and has been trending up lately catching 13 of 17 targets for 138 yards over the last two weeks.

On the other side of the ball, you have Derrick Henry who leads the league with an insane 29.7 touches and 153.5 scrimmage yards per game. He now faces a Chiefs defense that ranks 31st in DVOA defense vs. the rush.

In a potential shootout, I want as much exposure to this game as possible and for GPP purposes, this is my favorite way to stack it without completely killing the rest of my lineup.

Running Back/Defense Stack

This one is a little off the board but the game script sets up amazing for this combination to smash at a possible low ownership. Let's start with Harris who is an avoid-at-all-costs running back for cash games as we can never trust the Pats backfield but for GPP he has a ton of upside. He is coming off a 19 touch, 108 yards effort last week against Dallas and now faces a Jets defense that allows the second-most fantasy points to running backs. The Pats are a touchdown favorite in this one so the game script lines up nicely for another high-volume game.

On the defensive side of things, the PTS/$ floor is a bit lower for New England as they are middle of the pack in sacks(13) but it's the upside that stands out this week. The Jets have given up the 7th most sacks and the 6th most turnovers while the Pats have the 10th most turnovers on defense. If they can shut down the Jets offense it should create some short fields which plays right into the upside for Harris as it will give him plenty of scoring opportunities.
