Game Stack - Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

Let's start week 5 off with some chalk as this NFC East showdown has the highest total(52) on the main slate. When looking at the defensive matchups, the Cowboys and Giants have given up the 2nd and 13th most passing yards and the 4th and 8th most fantasy points per game given to the quarterback position. For the offenses, they rank 12th and 17th in pace and 7th and 14th in passing yards per game. I fully expect a high pace/high-scoring game which has me loving it for multi-entry with tons of combinations available. Let's start with two of my favorite stacks from this game.

Dak Prescott FD 8100 DK 6900
Opponent NYG
Proj Points FD - 20.98 DK - 21.66

CeeDee Lamb FD 6900 DK 6200
Opponent NYG
Proj Points FD - 10.52 DK - 12.78

The Cowboys have a very dynamic backfield combination of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard which has them throwing less than last season but that hasn't slowed Dak's fantasy production. He has been very efficient completing 75% of his passes(2nd to only Kyler Murray) and is one of just four QB's with double-digit touchdowns through four weeks. I love pairing him with CeeDee Lamb who should see a boost in volume this week with Amari Cooper playing banged up with multiple injuries & is coming off a week where he saw a huge decline in snap count.

The Giants aren't a cakewalk here(18th in Fpts to WR) but with a projected high pace, and likelihood Zeke is chalk, I love the pivot to the passing game which is fairly priced and has huge upside.

Daniel Jones FD 7400 DK 6000
Opponent DAL
Proj Points FD - 21.3 DK - 22.06

Kenny Golladay FD 6200 DK 5900
Opponent DAL
Proj Points FD - 12.39 DK - 14.64

On the other side of this game, we have a Giants offense that ranks 7th in passing yards game thanks to a great start from Daniel Jones who is averaging 296 yards per game. For fantasy, he has also added a ton of extra value with his legs as he is 3rd in both rushing attempts(6.8) and rushing yards(47) per game. With his low price, he is one of my top PTS/$ upside plays of the week. I will be pairing him with Kenny Golladay, who like Lamb, should see extra volume in Week 5 due to injuries with both Slayton and Shepard ruled out. Golladay is also coming off his best week of the season catching 6 of 7 targets for 116 yards. The individual matchup against Diggs/Brown is not the best on the board but the volume will be there.

No matter which QB/WR stack I am targeting in this game, I will be running it back with the WR on the side almost every time.

Bengals Passing Game

Joe Burrow FD 7000 DK 6100
Opponent GB
Proj Points FD - 16.93 DK - 17.39

Tyler Boyd FD 6300 DK 5300
Opponent GB
Proj Points FD - 10.59 DK - 13.22

Ja'Marr Chase FD 7300 DK 5800
Opponent GB
Proj Points FD - 11.4 DK - 13.81

The Bengals are tied for 1st in the tough AFC North which is crazy when you considered they rank outside the Top 20 in both passing and rushing yards per game through four weeks. The defense has been carrying the team and now it's the offense's time to take charge. This is a huge statement game for them and the good news for fantasy is that Green Bay's Pro Bowl corner Jaire Alexander is out. Adding to my focus on the passing game is the fact Joe Mixon is likely to be playing banged up. Huge opportunity for the passing game.

My top option is Tyler Boyd in the slot who should see a ton of Chandon Sullivan who has given up 14 catches on 16 targets and 102 yards after the catch of his total 179 yards given up. He is cheaper than Chase and likely lower owned as well. For Chase, I love the upside as he is averaging a 11.9 aDOT(depth of target) and has already scored four touchdowns.

Run it back with: Davante Adams who has tallied a whopping 36% of the Packers targets
