Welcome back hockey fans. After a quiet Monday on the ice, we get a very busy Tuesday with 10 games on the schedule with seven of those games with a high(6.0+) total so we can undoubtedly expect another high scoring night. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top goalies, teams, and situations to target tonight.

The goalie position has some very interesting options tonight and we will start with the Islanders who are sitting as the largest favorites(-350) on the slate. They get one of, if not the best matchup on the slate at home facing a depleted Senators team that traded away their top three scorers and have dropped seven of their last eight games scoring two or fewer goals in six of those. Lehner is currently listed as the projected starter but was pulled last game giving up three goals on 13 shots against the Flyers but overall has been consistent all season with a 20-11-5 record and is second behind Vasilevskiy with a .929 save%. Greiss has been equally as good with a .928% save % so whoever gets the starts is in play tonight and their best value comes on FanDuel where they are $1,600 cheaper than Vasilevskiy.

While Bishop has just one win in three games since returning from injury, he has been much better than that stopping 101 of 106 shots he has faced but just hasn't gotten the offensive help. On the season, Bishop sits Top 5 in Save %(.928) and has been a huge reason the Stars rank Top 5 on defense on the season allowing just 2.6 goals per game. Tonight, he and the Stars have a plus matchup as -210 home favorites against a rebuilding Rangers team that has dropped four straight and five of their last six games and rank outside the Top 20 on offense. On FanDuel, I prefer Lehner or Greiss but on DraftKings it is much closer as Bishop comes at a discount in the sub $8K range.
Also consider Andrei Vasilevskiy(TB) who has been red-hot winning nine of is last 10 games with a .947 save % but draws a tougher matchup against the Jets 6th ranked offense

The Pens are not currently the top projected scoring team in our system but are at the top of my list as their offense comes in red-hot having scored 36 goals over their last 10 games. On top of that, they get an elite matchup against a Panthers team that has dropped four straight giving up 17 goals and rank 28th overall on defense for the season.

There are a lot of different ways to go with the Pens Top 5 offense but for me, they all start with Sidney Crosby who has been en fuego lately. Since the start of February, Sid has tallied 25 points in 15 games while averaging 2.9 shots per game for an average of 21.2 FanDuel/5.6 DraftKings points per game. The newly acquired Jared McCann was moved up to the top line with Crosby and Guentzel in Montreal on Saturday and didn't disappoint with a goal and an assist and if he is back there again makes an excellent value play on both sites and will be a core two-man stack with Crosby in cash games. On defense, we have another PTS/$ value play in Marcus Petterson who has seen 20+ minutes of ice-time in four straight games with all the injuries on the back end and has a combined four or more blocks/shots in three straight.
Also consider Evgeni Malkin who comes at a discount from Crosby on both sites and has been terrific lately with 13 points in his last 10 games with 34 shots on goal. In cash games, I like pairing him with Zach Aston-Reese who comes cheap and has bee productive and then add Phil Kessel to complete the game stack in GPP formats.
Moneyline - DAL(-210)
Total - 6.0
Team Projections - 3.6
The Stars offense has struggled all season ranking 29th overall so I am not looking to go with a full stack tonight but there are some excellent options I am targeting in this plus matchup. They face a Rangers team that has dropped four straight and five of their last six games while giving up 23 goals and rank 30th overall in road defense as one of just three teams giving up four goals per game away from home.

Despite the struggles of the team, Tyler Seguin is having another solid season with his sixth straight 60+ point season and since being called out by the Stars CEO back on December 28, he has tallied 28 points in 27 games while averaging four shots per game. It is that insanely high floor that always grabs my attention when constructing cash game lineups as Seguin average 3.9 shots per game on the season with an elite 19.2 iCorsi/60 while also averaging 10.4 scoring chances per 60 as well. For value, I love pairing Seguin with Roope Hintz who has been skating on the top line recently and producing with two goals in his last three games with 11 shots on goal. More value on defense for the Stars with Esa Lindell who has already set a career-high with 29 points on the season but it is his floor I am looking more closely at tonight. He is averaging over 25 minutes of ice-time over his last 10 games along with six points in that time he has also tallied 12 shots and 27 blocks for an average of 3.4 DraftKings/12.4 FanDuel points per game. I would not argue with you if you wanted to roster all three of these Stars players in cash games.
The Nashville Predators make a nice target tonight as they are -180 home favorites against the Wild who they beat just two days ago in Minnesota. This is one of the three games with a low 5.5 Vegas total so it could be overlooked and my top targets from a cash game perspective are Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson who both provide very high floors with elite shot volume. The second line of Mikael Granlund, Kyle Turris, and Craig Smith is also intriguing as a value stack tonight.
