Since returning from the extended injury absence, Rondo has come in and played major minutes for the Lakers, something that should continue moving forward. In his first two games back, he’s averaging 39 minutes, 12 points, 12 assists and five rebounds per game. Those kinds of numbers (most importantly, the minutes) keep him once again as a cash play on Tuesday. He was overwhelming chalk on Sunday (90% or so on both sites in cash) and things are lining up that way again. The price ticked up some and the matchup against the Sixers is worse than the Suns, but Rondo’s projected minutes are about as high as you’ll see in the game right now.

Satoransky has become one of the more stable, high-minutes’ guys in the league right now because the Wizards are just dealing with a million injuries. He’s played 36 or more minutes in each of the last four games and averaged 15 points, four rebounds and nine assists in that span. He’s not going to be a high usage guy in this offense with Bradley Beal around plus some of their other wings jacking shots. But, almost like Rondo, the minutes seem about as safe as they come for a guy in the middle salary tier. Plus, he draws the dreadful Cavs in a very winnable game for Washington.
At $10,600, Russell Westbrook is an excellent DraftKings’ pick. The $11,900 FanDuel salary doesn’t really jive here, but against Orlando I could see Westbrook working his way into lineups on DK.

So much for Chris Paul coming back eating into James Harden’s historic run. In Paul’s first game back, the Beard just kept up more of the same with a 40 point, 11 rebound, six assist game in 37 minutes against the Magic. It sure seems like the modus operandi for the Rockets going forward will be to just let Harden do whatever the hell he wants for as long as possible. Now he draws an Anthony Davis-less Pelicans team that could be headed straight for the tank with Davis requesting a trade. I still think Harden is an okay cash-game play even at these elevated price points.

With the Lakers possibly without Kyle Kuzma again, plus Josh Hart banged up, Caldwell-Pope could bet in for a lot of minutes again on Tuesday. He ran 36 minutes against the Suns on Sunday and put up his second-most shots of the season (17) with the Lakers playing shorthanded. some of this, of course, depends on the Lakers’ injury situation and there are a couple of moving parts for LA. But we know Lebron is still out and the Lakers are incentivized to keep games close as they tread water without their superstar. What could be a problem is the timing of this game considering it starts 3.5 hours after main slate lineup lock.

Do you trust the Bulls? Me neither. But Selden played a whopping 38 minutes in the start fro Chandler Hutchinson and finished with 15 points, six rebounds and three assists. The price hasn’t come up anywhere close to correct if these minutes are going to be the new normal for the Bulls and he makes for the perfect punt play on FanDuel especially where you can weather the drop if the Bulls decide to change it up.

DeMar DeRozan has already been ruled out of Tuesday’s game which should lead to increased usage out of Gay in this matchup. With DeRozan off the court, Gay sees about a 7% increase is usage rate as he becomes more of a scorer with the first team. That didn’t play all the way out against the Wizards on Sunday, but the Spurs also ended up blowing out Washington and Gay only played 27 minutes. That could be another issue against the lowly Suns on Tuesday. There’s no early line on this game, but one would have to assume the Spurs will be close to (if not more than) double-digit favorites. That could once again lead to churn on the Gay minutes, but I’m still thinking we’re getting him at a value without DDR.

With E’twaun Moore already ruled out for this game, we could be in line for a lot of Darius Miller minutes once again. Last time Moore (and Mirotic) sat, Miller played 38 minutes against the Thunder and finished with 21 points and seven rebounds. He’d be an amazing value on this slate assuming he’s in the starting lineup once again. I suspect that’s the case with the Pelicans playing very thin in terms of their roster. Miller is dependent on the three-ball falling (he shot 5-11 in that aforementioned game), but it was encouraging to see him get on the boards a little. The price and minutes are the win here though and he won’t get played off the court by the Rockets.
You have to consider Michael Beasley here after he drew the start last game. But the Lakers have injury news that could effect his playing time. Keep an ear out leading into lock.

With DeMar DeRozan out on Sunday against the Wizards, the Spurs were happy to feed Aldridge early and often in the offense. The strategy worked and he took 21 shots in 31 minutes against the Wizards. In fact, LMA has taken 20 or more shots in four of the last five games with a 25 point, 10 rebound average in that span. I suspect he’s a popular play again on Tuesday against the Suns who are decidedly undermanned against the Spurs. With a few other ways to save on this slate, it shouldn’t be all that taxing fitting in Aldridge’s salary especially if you start fading the Harden’s of the world.

DeAndre Ayton has already been ruled out of this game and I’m expecting Holmes to draw the start. Dragan Bender ran with the starters last game, but Holmes took over in the second half and dominated from a fantasy perspective. It only took him 27 minutes to put up 12 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. That’s kind of what we can expect from this guy on a fantasy point per minutes basis. The blocks are a little run hot obviously, but this is a guy who can fill it up in limited minutes. I expect him to be a chalk play on this slate and I actually wouldn’t even mind if he didn’t start again. I think the minutes will be there.
If the Wizards are still shorthanded, Jeff Green is, once again, a minutes' upside play for the Wizards.
I'm also not completely off of Kenneth Faried even with the crazy price increase in the short term. Houston has shown that they are willing to play him high-30's minutes and he won't get played off the court against this Pelicans' lineup.

What do we do with the Lakers at this point? I want to trust them that their last game means what we can expect going forward. But that’s been a tough path to trod this season. That being said, Zubac should see the starter’s minutes in this game against Embiid. How he handles those minutes is up to some debate. Embiid is a tough handle and Zubac could be in foul trouble early. But the latter also went for 24 points and 16 rebounds in 35 minutes last game. This is a tough spot for sure and I really wish this game wasn’t starting hours after lineup lock.

Ian Mahinmi is questionable for Tuesday and if he sat Bryant would be in line for big minutes once again. He ran 30 on Sunday against the Spurs, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds. This is an even better matchup against a Cavaliers’ team that struggles to defend anyone, especially the interior. Washington has been fine running Bryant big minutes in the right spots and in a game they are projected to lead in, the minutes should be there for their big man. Keep an eye out for the Mahinmi injury news to make certain of the Bryant play.
There's still a reason to play Jahlil Okafor here. The Pelicans are possibly playing without both big men again and the Rockets can't defend the post at all.

Under Westbrook, the word is "jibe", not jive. Jibe or gibe is to agree or same accord. Jive however would be used as such...."That President Obama is married to a man who is dressed as a woman, Barrack is one jive-ass turkey. Heading for jail too" SEMPER FI civilians.
They both mean the same thing, and that's to taunt. But I'm sure you have more accolades than former President Obama, being illiterate and feeling the need to assert your brilliance here. Semper shut the fuck up 👌
"Still" with her huh? Civilian garbage. I've got chunks of cuckolds like you in my doo doo child.
Hahahahaha Jeff got all butthurt by the previous comment!!! Fucking loser!!!
