We already highlighted Max Scherzer, James Paxton and Ross Stripling in our https://www.dailyfantasysportsrankings.com/2018/05/25/daily-fantasy-mlb-picks-for-fanduel-and-draftkings-5-25-18/. We also highlighted the game in Coors as a popular game stacks at their respective team price points. Here we will look at some other (possible GPP) considerations.

Opponent - HOU (Dallas Keuchel) Park - CLE
FD - 39.35 DK - 21.47
Max Scherzer is facing the Marlins, so he had to take the top spot in the main article. With that said, Corey Kluber is always right behind him. Even against a tough Astros lineup, they’re projected just 3.15 runs and Kluber is a big favorite. The Astros are obviously a lethal offense, but they are right-handed heavy and can go ice cold at times. They also strikeout a ton against hard-throwing righties. Corey Kluber is having another ho-hum cy Young worthy year. He’s held a .247 wOBA against both sides of the plate and is striking out 9 batters per 9 innings. With the masses on Scherzer and rightfully so, you can get a lower owned Corey Kluber in a high-upside spot. I’ll take advantage.
Opponent - ARI (Patrick Corbin) Park - OAK
FD - 34.23 DK - 17.07
If you need to pay down, I like Ross Stripling against the Padres. Sean Manaea isn't necessarily cheap, but he's cheaper than most studs on this slate and in a similar situation. As we sit, he's favored against Patrick Corbin and the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks are currently implied to score 3.30 runs, which is the third lowest on the entire slate. The Diamondbacks strikeout 26.4% of the time and have posted just a .317 wOBA against lefties on the road. Manaea has held a .246 wOBA against lefties and a .262 against righties. He's K'ing 7 batters per 9 innings and his peripherals are as strong as could be. He's not up there with Scherzer, Paxton, or Kluber but he's cheaper than he should be and is in play in all formats.

There's always Coors Field, but I don't need to tell you to stack them. This Royals @ Rangers game has a 10.5 over/under and both teams are worthy of a stack. I think the Rangers will be more popular, but they have a tough lineup to target against left-handers. I do like the Royals a ton, however. Mike Minor has sported a .384 wOBA against righties in 41 innings and has struggled with 8 homers allowed. He's been great against lefties, but the Rangers bullpen is weak and Mike Moustakas can always take advantage. Against Minor, I love Soler, Perez, and Merrifield. Hunter Dozier and Alcides Escobar are in play as well. Soler and Perez is where most of the power will come from, with both posting wOBA's over .430 against lefties. They aren't a cheap stack, but I don't think they'll be very popular and the upside is huge.
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Sam Gaviglio (Blue Jays)

There are a lot of teams similar to the Phillies, but I think they go relatively ignored tonight and have a great chance to go off. Gaviglio has allowed a .345 wOBA to both sides of the plate and you really can target anyone against him. My favorite of the bunch is Rhys Hoskins, who has insane power and has held a .385 wOBA. Odubel Herrera and Carlos Santana are elite plays as well, but are a lot more consistent and less reliant on power. If you're looking for some more power, Maikel Franco and Scott Kingery are available as well. Cesar Hernandez is elite as a stand alone cash game play and you have to play him as well in a stack. Good luck tonight and feel free to comment below if you have any questions!
