Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/28/18

Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have a small four-game slate on tap for us with only one team(PHI) playing on consecutive nights and as always, it shall not be short of excitement. Let's get this party started.

Wow, this guy has been sensational lately as he is 3-0-1 in his last four games while allowing only two goals to go along with an amazing .981 save % and two shutouts. The Coyotes have serious issues scoring goals as they're ranked 30th offensively and Fleury and the Golden Knights have already defeated them twice this season with only two goals surrendered, so all things considered, he is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats.

CENTERS

Nathan MacKinnon FD - $8900 DK - $7700
Opponent - PHI
Proj Pts FD - 16.49 DK - 4.76

Mackinnon and company ran into the red-hot Marc-Andre Fleury and the Golden Knights in the last two games as he only fired seven shots with no points but he was on a ridiculous 14-game point streak prior to that. He also has 92 points in only 64 games with 64 of them coming at home and he has an elite 3.84 shot per game average. Even though the Flyers are pretty solid in defense, they will be playing on consecutive nights so fire the superstar up in all formats.

Stack with: Gabriel Landeskog, Mikko Rantanen

Evgeny Kuznetsov FD - $7400 DK - $6800
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 14.09 DK - 4.04

This guy has a pretty good job playing beside the great Alex Ovechkin and he is currently on a four-game point streak where he has four goals and seven assists and he has 75 points in 73 games. He has also improved his shot output lately as he has averaged 3.1 shots per game in his last 15 which gives him a solid floor to go along with massive upside against the Rangers and their sixth-worst defense. Fire up the young superstar in all formats.

WINGERS

Jonathan Marchessault FD - $6700 DK - $7200
Opponent - ARI

Alex Tuch FD - $4100 DK - $4300

Proj Pts FD - 8.88 DK - 2.61

We need exposure to the Knights tonight against the Coyotes and their seventh-worst defense and these two cover two different salary ranges and they play on the #1 powerplay unit together. Marchessault is currently on a five-game point streak where he has three goals and five assists and he has 72 points in 73 games to go along with a 3.4 shot per game average. Tuch had a goal on five shots last game while averaging 15 minutes of ice-time and he actually switched time between all three of the top lines. Fire up both of these guys in all formats against a weak Coyotes team.

Jimmy Vesey FD - $3700 DK - $3200
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 8 DK - 2.32

We need value, especially today, and this guy plays on the top powerplay unit with some talented players and he has two goals(one on the powerplay), two assists, and eight shots while averaging 14-minutes of ice time in his last two games. The Caps are in the middle of the pack defensively but Braden Holtby will be starting today and he hasn't been at his best lately as he has allowed 28 goals in his last eight starts. Fire up Vesey in all formats at near-minimum prices.

DEFENSEMEN

Shea Theodore FD - $4000 DK - $4600
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 8.35 DK - 2.52

Some guys are better closer to playoff time and this guy is an example of that as he is on a four-game point streak with a goal, four assists, 15 shots, and five blocks. Like I mentioned earlier, the Coyotes are weak in all areas and this guy plays on the top powerplay unit so fire up Theodore in all formats.

Alex Goligoski FD - $3700 DK - $3700
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 9.07 DK - 2.7

I know I recommended Fleury at the goalie position but this guy contributes all areas as he has two goals, an assist, six shots and eight blocks in his last three games and he is way too cheap considering his current production. Goligoski is a great addition to your lineups in all formats and allows you to spend elsewhere.
