GOALIE
Frederik Andersen FD - $8300 DK - $8500
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 15.49 DK - 3.87
Let's start this exciting slate with Andersen who stopped 38 of 41 shots last game where he earned his 35th victory of the season. The veteran tender is now 21-7-2 while playing at home to go along with an impressive .925 save % and three shutouts and the Leafs allow the fourth-most shots per game. Add to the fact that the Sabres are dead last in the league in offense and they've lost four games in a row while scoring only two goals during that span and we have ourselves an elite play in all formats.
Jonathan Quick FD - $8800 DK - $8300
Opponent - CGY
Proj Pts FD - 14.48 DK - 3.62
The Flames are a mess right now as they've lost five in a row while scoring only three goals during that time and they will now be without Johnny Gaudreau tonight on top of them already losing Sean Monahan for the season. Quick has been solid lately as he's won four of his last six games while allowing only 11 goals and he is a respectable 30-17-2 with a .922 save % this season. The Flames also own the league's 26th-offense and they are punchless without their two superstars so lock and load Quickie in all formats.
Also Consider: Marc-Andre Fleury(VEG)
CENTERS
Vincent Trocheck FD - $7200 DK - $7300
Opponent - NYI
Proj Pts FD - 15.66 DK - 4.55
After pretty much disappearing for a couple of games this guy came up huge last game as he recorded two goals, an assist, and five shots to give him 30 goals and 69 points this season. He has a massive ceiling this season as the Isles are ranked 31st defensively and he averages 3.5 shots per game which gives him an elite floor. Trocheck centers the #2 line and the deadly #1 powerplay unit for the Panthers so fire him up in all formats.
Stack with: Jonathan Huberdeau, Frank Vatrano
Mika Zibanejad FD - $6800 DK - $6200
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 11.38 DK - 3.35
When we look at the Capitals, we don't want to pick on them when they're at home as they are ranked fourth defensively but on the road, they are an awful 26th in defense. This young man has been blazing hot lately as he is now on a seven-game point streak where he has eight goals, four assists, 30 shots, and eight blocks. He centers the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit and the Rangers have actually been scoring a few goals recently so lock and load Zibanejad in all formats.
Stack with: Chris Kreider, Jesper Fast
Jacob De La Rose FD - $3700 DK - $3200
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 6.03 DK - 1.72
Punt play alert! The Canadiens have been giving some of their youngsters some ice-time as they're out of the playoff hunt and this guy has a goal, two assists, and six shots in his last three games while averaging 15 minutes of ice-time and playing on the #2 line. De La Rose is way too cheap for his recent production and the Wings are ranked 21st defensively so plug him in as a value play in all formats.
Stack with: Alex Galchenyuk, Arturi Lehkonen
WINGERS
James Van Riemsdyk FD - $7000 DK - $6700
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 14.96 DK - 4.35
This guy is playing like he is possessed currently as he recorded an assist last game to give him eight goals, three assists, and 25 shots in his last five games and he now averages three shots per game. That's the perfect mixture of upside and safety that we are looking for in all formats and the Sabres are ranked 27th in defense. This game could get ugly fast so we need exposure to the Leafs and fire Van Reemer up in all formats.
Stack with: Mitch Marner, Tyler Bozak
J.T. Miller FD - $6200 DK - $6800
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 11.31 DK - 3.18
The Coyotes have been better in the second half of the season as they're now ranked 19th in defense instead of near the bottom but the Lightning and their #1 offense can explode at any time. Miller isn't a safe play for cash games but he had two goals two games ago and on March 13th he scored a hat-trick on a whopping 10 shots. He plays beside two elite superstars on the top line and the #1 powerplay unit so lock him and load him in your GPP lineups this evening.
Stack with: Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov
Valentin Zykov FD - $3300 DK - $4000
Opponent - OTT
Proj Pts FD - 6.26 DK - 1.82
I recommended this guy last time and he recorded two assists to give him two goals, two assists, and seven shots in his last two games. The Sens are ranked 30th in defense and Zykov plays on the top line as well as logging some powerplay time so plug him in as a value play in all formats.
Stack with: Sebastian Aho, Teuvo Teravainen
Also Consider: Evander Kane(SJ)
DEFENSEMEN
Ryan Pulock FD - $4400 DK - $5000
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 10.49 DK - 3.08
It's very hard to fade certain players at certain times and the hard-shooting point man is on a tear as he has three goals, five assists, 25 shots, and eight blocks in his last six games. The former Brandon Wheat King is playing like a seasoned veteran and not a rookie and the Panthers are ranked 22nd in defense so Pulock makes for an elite play in all formats.
Shea Theodore FD - $4000 DK - $4000
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 1.71 DK - 0.69
While Theodore is normally a GPP play only, he has been fairly consistent lately as he had an assist and eight shots last game to give him three assists, 13 shots, and four blocks in his last three games. The young point man plays on the #1 powerplay unit for the Knights so fire him up in all formats this evening against a weak Av's road defense.
