GOALIE
EARLY
Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9300 DK - $8500
Opponent - MON
Proj Pts FD - 15.42 DK - 3.86
There are a few solid options today, but this guy stands out in a big way as he has the league's #1 offense in front of him providing goal support and he already has 40 wins this season to go along with seven shutouts. What makes things even sweeter is the fact that the Habs own the league's 29th ranked offense but they fire the seventh most shots on goal and they were just shutout by the Panthers while getting blanked on all 40 shots. The Lightning are listed as massive -310 favorites and Vasilevskiy is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats for the early slate.
Also Consider: Marc-Andre Fleury(VEG), Tuukka Rask(BOS), Jonathan Bernier(COL) Afternoon only slate.
LATE
Roberto Luongo FD - $8500 DK - $8500
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 16.61 DK - 4.15
Bobby Lou is 38 years-old, but he has been playing like he is 28 lately as he most recently blanked the Habs for the 75th shutout of his illustrious career and he is 6-0-1 in his last seven games. The veteran has a terrific .930 save % this season to go along with a respectable 2.42 GAA and the Rangers and their 25th ranked road offense have pretty much packed it in for the year, so all things considered, Luongo is a terrific play and my top goalie in all formats.
Also Consider: Pekka Rinne(NSH)
CENTERS
EARLY
Tyler Johnson FD - $6100 DK - $6100
Opponent - MON
Proj Pts FD - 11.58 DK - 3.37
This guy is one of the best faceoff men in the league, so the Lightning recently promoted him to the top line to skate between Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov. That is quite the promotion and he scored a goal on four shots in his first game and the odds are great that he has another solid game today against the Habs and their awful 29th-ranked road defense. Johnson has a respectable 47 points in 67 games and while he averages only 2.25 shots per game, we can expect that to skyrocket while playing on the top line so lock and load Johnson in all formats.
Stack with: Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov
Riley Nash FD - $5600 DK - $5700
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 10.44 DK - 2.98
Here we have another guy who has a pretty good gig as he skates between two studs on the #1 line while Patrice Bergeron is injured. In his last two games, Nash has a goal, two assists, and six shots while scoring points in four of his last five with three of them resulting in multi-point efforts. He is simply too cheap for that kind of production, so fire up Riley Nash today in all formats against the Hawks who have realized that they will not be playoff bound this season.
Stack with: Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak
Also Consider: Eric Haula(VEG), Brayden Point(TB), Nathan Mackinnon(COL) Afternoon only slate.
LATE
Aleksander Barkov FD - $7700 DK - $7400
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 15.89 DK - 4.58
Even though we have a couple of other elite centers in action this evening they are priced much higher so let's talk about Barkov who is on a lengthy eight-game point streak with an impressive five goals and nine assists. The veteran plays on the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit for a surging Panthers team and he also offers an elite floor as he averages 3.31 shots per game, so lock and load Barkov in all formats against the Rangers and their 25th ranked defense.
Stack with: Evgenii Dadonov, Nick Bjugstad
Also Consider: Connor McDavid(EDM), Evgeni Malkin(PIT), Mike Fisher(NSH) Punt play
WINGERS
EARLY
Jonathan Marchessault FD - $7300 DK - $7200
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 14.88 DK - 4.3
Vegas has an incredibly juicy matchup against the Sabres who own the league's 28th ranked offense and even though Marchessault is pointless in his last three games, he has 17 shots in his last four and he was on a five-game point streak prior to that. The veteran winger has 65 points in 64 games to go along with an elite 3.44 shot per game average so look for him to end his pointless drought making him an elite play for the early slate.
Stack with: William Karlsson, Tomas Tatar
Patrik Laine FD - $8100 DK - $7100
Opponent - PHI
Proj Pts FD - 13.97 DK - 4.11
This is the third time in a row that I am recommending this guy and he will remain here as long as he keeps up this torrid pace. The sophomore sensation has an incredible 14 goals and 20 points during his current 10-game point streak and now has 62 points in 67 games to go along with a respectable 2.88 shot per game average. With all of the value at center for the early slate, we can spend up at winger and while the Flyers own the league's 12th ranked home defense they have been allowing goals in bunches lately(23 during their five-game losing streak) so Laine is a decent cash game option and an elite GPP play stacked with his talented line-mates.
Stack with: Nikolaj Ehlers, Paul Stastny
Also Consider: Rick Nash(BOS), Tyler Toffoli(LA) Afternoon only slate
LATE
Ryan Hartman FD - $3800 DK - $3600
Opponent - NJ
Proj Pts FD - 7.43 DK - 2.12
When we are looking from a PTS/$ perspective we can't go wrong with a guy who is dirt cheap on both sites and he plays on the second line with two talented forwards. In his last two games, Hartman has a goal, an assist, a shot, and two blocks, so as long as he stays on the second line he is a perfect example of a punt play in all formats.
Stack with: Craig Smith, Kyle Turris
Also Consider: Zach Parise(MIN), Carl Hagelin(PIT)
DEFENSEMEN
EARLY
Dustin Byfuglien FD - $6200 DK - $5600
Opponent - PHI
Proj Pts FD - 11.91 DK - 3.6
The Jets are playing lights out hockey right now which has the big man playing at an elite level lately as he has two assists, 10 shots, and six blocks in his last three games. Add to the fact that he has 37 points, 141 shots, and 75 blocks this season in only 55 games and we have a guy who offers huge upside as well as a solid floor. We've found value elsewhere today, so make sure you fire up Big Buff in all formats against a struggling Flyers squad.
Mike Reilly FD - $3600 DK - $3000
Opponent - TB
Proj Pts FD - 5.13 DK - 1.52
I know I recommended Tampa's goalie but hear me out. It is okay to roster a cheap defenseman against your cash game goalie because they offer production in other areas and it looks like the Habs are going to let Reilly show them what he is made of for the remainder of the season. The young defender is still raw, but he logged 26 minutes of ice-time last game and he's played at least 20 minutes over four of his last five to go along with four assists with two of them being multi-point efforts during that span. Reilly allows you to roster a couple of superstars so lock him into your lineups in all formats for the early slate.
Also Consider: Zdeno Chara(BOS), Brent Burns(SJ) Afternoon only slate.
LATE
Michael Matheson FD - $4300 DK - $4500
Opponent - NYR
Proj Pts FD - 8.33 DK - 2.44
Even though Aaron Ekblad and Keith Yandle hog their share of ice-time for the Panthers this guy has been getting his share as well as he's averaged 22 minutes in his last four games. The young point man has done well during that span with a goal, an assist, 10 shots, and 11 blocks, so he is way too cheap on both sites making him a valuable play in all formats for the late slate.
Also Consider: Ryan Ellis(NSH)

Domingue is starting for the Lightning today, folks. He is also a great play against the Habs.
Where is Chris’s NHL sheet?
Chris is a busy man Mike, he puts his NHL sheet on here just to try and help everyone, so I’m not sure.
