What We Know

Hassan Whiteside is out for Miami.
I'm leading with this one, as I alluded to it in the picks article. Whiteside left last night's game against Philly after 18 minutes with an illness. Bam Adebayo was excellent in 29 minutes paying over 10X PPD and opens a ton of value at a position that didn't offer much coming into today. I'll have Bam everywhere tonight at the five to help pay up in other spots.

Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon remain out, while Chris Paul is currently probably for the Rockets.
Paul missed Tuesday's game with a sore groin, before playing 30 minutes Thursday against the Spurs. Houston has him on the injury report today as a precaution but it seems he will play. Gordon meanwhile will miss a second game with Ariza missing his third straight making Luc Mbah a Moute a solid value play as we noted in the picks article. In what looks to be a high scoring, fast paced shoot out with Cleveland Luc should easily hit value.

Aaron Gordon is out again for the Magic.
Gordon has missed two games already and has been ruled out for Orlando's game against the Wizards tonight. Marreese Speights should draw the start for Gordon with Jonathan Simmons seeing added value at small forward with Gordon out of the game.

Andre Iguodala should play tonight.
Iggy was held out for rest purposes last night as a precaution heading into a back to back. He should be expected to return to action tonight cutting into Omri Casspi and Patrick McCaws' value.

What We're Waiting to Know

J.J. Barea is questionable for tonights' game in Sacramento.
Barea has missed three games with an oblique strain. He was a full participant in Fridays' practice, so more word should come closer to tip off, but with this game having a 10PM ET start time, word may come well after lock.

Rodney Hood is probable for tonights' game in San Antonio.
Hood has missed six games already with a leg injury but could make his return tonight. This is another situation where word may come after lock, and this is a game I'm not targeting myself, so do with this information what you will.

Willie Cauley-Stein
So many of the "waiting to know" plays are in the late games. WCS played last night in a loss to the Warriors following a two game absence. The Kings may hold him back tonight as a precaution, so his status remains up in the air at the moment.

Myles Turner
Turner may sit out the tail end of the Pacers back to back set against the Sixers as he's still working his way back from a nine game absence. Should Turner ultimately sit this one out, Domantas Sabonis could draw the start in his place and open up some nice value. At least we'll know for sure on this one before lineups lock.

Every Lineup Guys

Bam Adebayo FD - $3800 DK - $3800
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 11.58 DK - 11.32
We lead our every lineup plays with Emerils' favorite center. Bam Adebayo stands to see a solid workload tonight as the Heat travel to the motor city to play the Pistons. Bam took control at the five last night for Miami in their loss to Philly when Hassan Whiteside was pulled after just 18 minutes with an illness. Adebayo finished the night with 15 points, 13 boards, and six assists in 29 minutes. Bam has started ten games for Miami this season and played an average of 26 minutes per start and scored an average of 21.52 FDP in those games, good for 6.1X PPD, which gives us a solid floor, and if last night in south Philly is any indication, a 10X, 30 point ceiling is not out of the question. The system loves Bam tonight, and I for one will have him in every lineup on both FanDuel and DraftKings, and I'm sure 60-80% of the field will so the same.

Anthony Davis FD - $12000 DK - $11300
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 60.3 DK - 60.34
While Bam is a universal play, Anthony Davis is a DraftKings only play. It's quite simple, Davis is now a center on FanDuel, and you can only play one of those, and that's Bam. on DK with multi-position eligibility, and utility spots we can lock both Bam and the brow into our lineups. What's better is the savings we get on Bam allow us to lock in AD without limiting our options everywhere else. Davis has been a beast this season, and currently sits fourth in the NBA with 26.8 points per game, and second with 2.2 blocks per game. It's Bam all day on FanDuel, with the pair on DraftKings.
