GOALIE

Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $8500 DK - $8200
Opponent - SJ
Proj Pts FD - 15.04 DK - 3.76

Tonight is definitely not the easiest night at the goalie position, but after digging a little deeper, we find that the "Goalie Bob" has been money on home-ice this season with a 12-6-1 record with four shutouts(none on the road). The Sharks' offense isn't scary at all as they're ranked 18th in total offense, 21st while away from San Jose, and are currently without their captain Joe Thornton which is a huge loss to the team. The Blue Jackets are listed as -135 home favorites and with all of these things considered, Bobrovsky is a solid play in all formats.

Also Consider: Carolina's goalie vs. a weak Detroit offense.

CENTERS

Evgeni Malkin FD - $8300 DK - $7400
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 14.98 DK - 4.43

Holy mackerel, these two teams have combined for 40 total goals scored in their last five games against each other, so it is a great idea to focus a lot of our attention on this game today(except for the goalies of course). The Russian superstar has been blazing hot lately with an insane five goals(two on the powerplay), an assist, and nine shots in his last two games while playing on the #2 line and the deadly #1 powerplay unit for the Penguins. While the Capitals own a top-five defense at home, they rank fifth-worst defensively on the road, so all things considered, Malkin is an elite play in all formats.

Stack with: Patrick Hornqvist, Phil Kessel(PP)

Victor Rask FD - $4600 DK - $4100
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 7.74 DK - 2.25

We need to find value on any given slate so that we can fit a couple of superstars into our lineups and enter Rask who centers the #2 line for the Hurricanes. In his last two games, the all-purpose veteran has a powerplay goal, two assists, and five shots, and he has 15 shots in his last five, so he gives us the safety and upside that we need at these cheap prices on both sites. Tonight's opponent(Red Wings) are ranked 10th-worst defensively and the Hurricanes have been playing well lately, so fire up Rask in all formats.

Stack with: Justin Williams, Brian McGinn

WINGERS

Alex Ovechkin FD - $8800 DK - $7800
Opponent - PIT
Proj Pts FD - 17.54 DK - 5.08

When we have a Washington vs. Pittsburgh game happening and we don't mention "The Great Eight", it would be like eating Spaghetti without Spaghetti sauce. The Russian superstar is playing like himself this year(which is at an elite level) as he leads the league in shots(210) and in goals(30) and he has two goals, two assists, and 15 shots in his last four games. Like I said earlier, there has been a ton of goals scored between these two squads, so fading Ovechkin will most likely be a huge mistake in all formats.

Stack with: Evgeny Kuznetsov, Nicklas Backstrom(PP)

Mikael Granlund FD - $7100 DK - $6000
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 10.97 DK - 3.23

While picking on Vegas in their home barn would be a mistake as they're ranked 2nd defensively, they are just average while playing on the road. Granlund has been playing well lately as he has two powerplay goals, two assists, and a whopping 14 shots on goal in his last three games while playing on the top line and the top powerplay unit for the Wild. Granlund has the perfect mix of upside and safety that we are looking for when setting our lineups and is a safe play in all formats.

Stack with: Mikko Koivu, Jason Zucker

Bryan Rust FD - $3300 DK - $3300
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 5.81 DK - 1.73

While I already mentioned Malkin, this guy plays on a separate line with a guy named Sidney Crosby, who is a pretty good boost to anyone's offensive output. Rust went crazy last game(not literally) with two goals, an assist, two shots, and two blocks which gives him points in three of his last four games. When it's all said and done, I cannot imagine leaving this guy out any single one of my lineups at these ridiculously cheap prices.

Stack with: Sidney Crosby, Dominik Simon

Also Consider: Jonathan Marchessault(VEG)

DEFENSEMEN

John Carlson FD - $5900 DK - $6200
Opponent - PIT
Proj Pts FD - 11.65 DK - 3.51

Brent Burns is playing today but he has a tough matchup in Columbus, so let's continue with another player from the Capitals. Carlson has been lights out lately with two goals, three assists, 22 shots, and four blocks in his last four games and the Penguins rank 21st defensively making this guy even more attractive(from a fantasy perspective, not for his looks) this evening. He is a safe play in all formats tonight.

Jonas Brodin FD - $3700 DK - $3300
Opponent - VEG
Proj Pts FD - 6.88 DK - 2.05

The Wild have their share of quality defensemen, but I cannot ignore this guy any longer with his recent production combined with the large amount of ice-time that he has been logging in all situations. Brodin has a goal, an assist, five shots, and four blocks in his last two games to go along with 24.5 minutes of ice-time, so at these low prices, fire him up in all formats folks.

Also Consider: Seth Jones(CLB)
