What We Know

John Wall will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a knee injury

Yikes. This looked like a minor injury that was going to hold out Wall for just a game or two, but obviously not. We've gone through this before, fortunately, so we do know how to react. Brad Beal will start heaving up a ton of shots and be the clear usage leader on the offense. Minutes-wise, Tim Frazier and Tomas Satoransky will split minutes at the 1. Either can be considered in a tournament, but we don't have much of an idea who will end up with the bulk of minutes. Porter Jr. and Markieff Morris will also get an uptick in usage and a few extra shots. The Thunder not only play fast, but don't have much of a team defense. Target Beal in all formats.

Aaron Gordon has been ruled out against the Rockets

Gordon has been playing 35-40 minutes a night, so there's a ton of opportunity here. Khem Birch is the main benefactor and he's going to see well over 30 minutes. He's been one of the more efficient players when on the floor at 1.85 FP per minute/ You can lock him into both cash games and tournaments. The other meaningful minutes should go to Simmons and Hezonja.

Mason Plumlee has been ruled out against the Spurs

With Nikola Jokic getting 35-40 minutes on most nights, he's pretty maxed out. Most of the 25-30 minutes from Plumlee should go to Trey Lyles, Kenneth Faried, and Darrell Arthur. For me, it'll be Lyles and Jokic. Arthur and Faried have upside, but neither are guaranteed to see over 15 minutes. Jokic and Lyles are both guaranteed more than usual and are in an average match-up with the Spurs interior.

Trevor Ariza, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Caris LeVert, Skal Labissiere, and Willie Cauley-Stein all remain out

Lots of guys here that are missing their 2nd or 3rd game in a row. We know what to do for the most part. If you have any questions, comment below and I'll get right to them well before lock.

What We're Waiting to Know

Chris Paul is questionable to play against the Magic with a sore right groin

This is obviously huge news and the only big piece we're waiting on. If Paul plays, Gordon and Harden are still in play, but don't stand out. If Paul is out, James Harden and Eric Gordon will have their minutes close to maxed out. Both will shoot an extra few times and Harden will have the ball in his hands all game long. Both would jump into the top SG spots in all formats. With Trevor Ariza also out, expect P.J. Tucker and Gerald Green to pick up a few extra minutes.
