Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 15.03 DK - 3.76
This guy is a classy dude and he deserves every bit of success that he's been having recently. The veteran Canadian tender has been on fire lately as he's won six of his last seven games with only 13 goals against and only one goal allowed in each of his last three games. Tonight's matchup is a juicy one as the lowly Sabres with their league-worst offense crawl into Calgary to take on a surging Flames squad who are currently massive -220 favorites to win this game. With all of these things considered, Smith is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats.
Opponent - OTT
Proj Pts FD - 15.66 DK - 3.92
Let's continue with the "classy" theme today as we have another guy who, after his career was going downhill quickly, has rebounded during the last few seasons making him one of the best goalies in the world, especially on home-ice where he will be facing shots from the Senators and their 24th ranked offense this evening. Dubnyk has won three of his last four games with only seven goals allowed and he has a stellar record of 18-9-3 so far this season, so he is also an great play today and my second favorite goalie in all formats against a weak Senators squad.
Also Consider: Jonathan Bernier(COL) GPP formats only (Who has been tremendous lately but is on the road)
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 16.19 DK - 4.71
Can we call this stud a superstar yet? He is easily the hottest player on planet Earth right now as he is on a ridiculous nine-game point streak(eight goals, 11 assists) with six of them being multi-point efforts, and he has fired 38 shots on goal in those nine games. The Leafs are nothing to be scared of as they rank 19th in defense, but MacKinnon is currently matchup-proof anyways, at least until he shows signs of being human, which makes him an elite play and a very dangerous fade in all formats this evening.
Stack with: Mikko Rantanen, Gabriel Landeskog
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 9.92 DK - 2.86
The former Moose Jaw Warrior is starting to become a regular here and he's showing the Lightning that there will be a future when someday, the great Steven Stamkos retires. The sophomore center has three goals and eight shots in his last three games while centering the #2 line he has recently been promoted to the lethal #1 powerplay unit. The Lightning's second line is deadly on the road as the home team tries their best to shut down the #1 line and the Blackhawks have allowed 11 goals in their last two games, so fire this guy up with confidence in all formats.
Stack with: Tyler Johnson, Yanni Gourde
Also Consider: John Tavares(NYI), Derek Stepan(ARI)
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 15.69 DK - 4.56
This superstar winger has 48 points in 43 games this season and he is currently on a seven-game point streak with five goals and seven assists, and he has 32 shots in his last six games. He has also been a regular in my articles lately and tonight, the Red Wings and their 23rd ranked defense travel to town, which should be an easy matchup for him and his friends. Hall is also a dangerous fade this evening and is an elite play in all formats.
Stack with: Nico Hischier, Kyle Palmieri(PP)
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 14.57 DK - 4.22
"Johnny Hockey" and the Flames should be firing pucks all over the place tonight against the Sabres and their 30th ranked defense and the young winger has points in seven of his last eight games(two goals, 10 assists) and he plays on the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit. While safety is a mild concern as he averages only 2.8 shots on goal per game, he offers a tremendous amount of upside as he has had some monster performances so far this season. Gaudreau is an elite GPP play and a decent cash game option this evening against a weak Sabres team.
Stack with: Sean Monahan, Michael Ferland
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 11.85 DK - 3.45
The Islanders went crazy last game with seven goals against the Black Hawks and this guy now has two goals and a whopping 12 shots in his last two games, while playing on the red-hot #2 line and switching between both powerplay units. This game will most likely be a scoring fest as Coyotestoes are ranked 28th defensively and we need exposure to the Islanders, so targeting their cheaper second line looks like a smart decision today.
Stack with: Mathew Barzal, Anthony Beauvillier
Also Consider: Zach Parise(MIN) all formats, Tyler Bertuzzi(DET) value/punt play.
DEFENSEMEN
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 10.84 DK - 3.2
The Avalanche are on a nine-game winning streak, so they deserve a lot of attention until or if they slow down this season. Johnson logs a ton of ice-time every game and he scored a goal with an assist to go along with five shots last game giving him a goal, two assists, nine shots, and seven blocks in his last three. Johnson is too cheap on both sites, so fire him up in all formats while his prices are comfortable.
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 9.64 DK - 2.89
Brodie is finally back in fantasy land as he scored a goal on five shots last game and he has a goal, nine shots, and six blocks in his last three games. His blocks are up now because he plays on the penalty kill and he sees time on the #2 powerplay unit as well, so with this juicy matchup against the Sabres, Brodie is a solid play in all formats.
Also Consider: Jared Spurgeon(MIN), Jake Gardiner(TOR)

So with Taylor Hall out for the next two games, do we know any word yet of who's moving up to the first line? Any value?
Hi Shane, yes it is Kyle Palmeiri who is moving up to the first line from the third and he also plays on the #1 powerplay. I like him as a solid cash game play and a solo gpp play at his reasonable prices on both sites. Someone has to shoot the puck now that hall is out and Palmeiri is the next best player behind him.
Also, Stalock is starting for the wild tonight. Not Dubnyk. I will be using Smith 100% in cash and gpps
Lots of news today. So, with Palat being injured the Lightning separated Kucherov and Stamkos.
Top two lines are: Stamkos, point and Namestnikov and
Kucherov Point and Johnson .
This makes Point and even better play tonight IMO
Sorry I meant Kunitz with Stamkos and Namestnikov
