What We Know

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have been ruled out against the Clippers

Kevin Durant came into the day in question, but it's Curry and Thompson who are going to sit out. Minutes-wise, Shaun Livingston and Quinn Cook will fill in for Curry. Nick Young and Patrick McCaw will fill in for Thompson. Livingston and Young are the 2 guys who I have a lot of cash game interest in. Usage and shots-wise, Durant, Iguodala, and Draymond all see huge boosts. Against a weak Clippers defense, they are all in play. Without Curry and Thompson, I think the game stays close. Durant and Green are both elite plays in all formats that will come in higher owned.

Myles Turner has been ruled out against the Heat

Turner has been pretty disappointing lately, but he still plays a healthy amount of minutes and takes a lot of shots in them. Al Jefferson hasn't played much of late, but could get up to 15-ish minutes. The real guy to pay attention to is Domantas Sabonis. He will get the start at center and could get close to 38-40 minutes. He's been an insanely efficient DFS player and is one of the top value options on the board.

Milos Teodosic and Austin Rivers have been ruled out against the Warriors

With both of these guys out last game, Juwan Evans picked up 39 minutes. He put up 44 fantasy points and played a really solid game. He should be back over 35 minutes and will face off against the Warriors 2nd string guards. Tyrone Wallace could also pick up 20+ minutes, but you can do better on this slate.

James Johnson will serve his suspension tonight

After exchanging hands with Serge Ibaka last night, he'll receive a quick slap on the wrist with a 1-game suspension. Johnson plays 25-30 minutes a game, but has been hurt for a lot of the season. Expect Jordan Mickey to get back around 10-15 minutes and for Kelly Olynyk to pick up the other 5-10. The Pacers are a strong match-up and will be playing small tonight with Sabonis at the 4. I don't love anyone on the Heat, but Olynyk is the one guy I'd have GPP exposure to.

What We're Waiting to Know

Anthony Davis is doubtful to play against the Grizzlies

This is a tough match-up for the entire Pelicans squad, but there are some spots to look at. DeMarcus Cousins has seen his usage go from 32% to 38% without AD and we know he can put up 80 if he gets hot. He put up 28 points and 10 rebounds against them earlier in the year with AD in the lineup. Jrue Holiday will see extra 4-5 shots and will have the ball in his hands a ton. Minutes-wise, Darius Miller and Dante Cunningham will fill in. Miller is an interest punt option at SF. All in all, Cousins is the only guy I'll have any substantial exposure to.

Damian Lillard is questionable to play against the Rockets

I think Lillard is on the + side of questionable here, but we don't have much of a clue. If Lillard is out, play Shabazz Napier. C.J. McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, and Al-Farouq Aminu will also pick up a few extra shots and are in solid match-ups. If Lillard plays, you still have to like some of these pieces. The Rockets play fast and this game will be a fantasy goldmine if it stays close. McCollum and Nurkic are my favorites. Napier is a must if Lillard is out.

Nikola Mirotic has been ruled doubtful against the Knicks

With Mirotic out last game, Markkanen saw 34 minutes and Portis picked up 33. They are both in play again if Mirotic is out. The Knicks are a weak defense overall and both of these guys are very productive when on the floor. Portis is my favorite as he's cheaper and has a much higher ceiling. If Mirotic finds a way to play, ignore all 3 of these guys as none of them will get over 30.

Allen Crabbe is doubtful to play against the Pistons

The Nets are already limited at SF with DeMarre Carroll out, so this could hurt. Joe Harris saw 37 minutes with Crabbe in last game, so you have to think he gets over 40 or at least very close. The only other obvious benefactor is Caris LeVert, who always has a huge ceiling. The Nets may be forced to go sall for some of the game and we may see a few of the 80 backup PG's get some minutes. LeVert and Harris are the 2 guys I'll have a lot of exposure to if Crabbe is ruled out. RHJ and Dinwiddie would also pick up a few shots, but aren't in the friendlist match-ups.
