Let's start things off with Rinne who has been sensational so far this season as he comes into today's game with an unreal record of 14-2-2 and he is unbeaten in regulation time on home-ice with a record of 9-0-1. The superstar tender also has a stifling 2.25 GAA and a .929 save % and he has won his last five games in a row and allowing only nine goals with a shutout while facing an average of 33.6 shots during those five games. The Canucks are ranked 23rd offensively so look for another strong performance from Rinne and he is an elite play in all formats this evening.

Rinne and a couple of other goalies may be popular this evening, so we will need to separate ourselves in tournaments and here is a perfect chance to roster a superstar goalie who should go somewhat overlooked tonight. Crawford has an elite .933 save % so far this season to go along with a 2.21 GAA and he has won four of his last five starts while allowing 11 goals. The stars are only average offensively and the Hawks are ranked fourth in the league in shots allowed per game(33.9), so fire Crawford up in your GPP lineups folks.
Also Consider: Mike Smith (CGY) FanDuel GPP play only, Braden Holtby (WSH) Draftkings in all formats.

After a very slow start to the season, the former Blue Jacket has picked up the pace lately as he has two goals and four assists in his last five games and eight shots in his last three. The veteran forward has averaged 19 minutes of ice-time this season and he plays on the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit for the Predators and the Canucks have allowed 11 goals in their last three games, so at these cheap prices, Johansen is a solid play in all formats.
Stack with: Filip Forsberg, Viktor Arvidsson

Center is a very tough position today as we have a couple of great players in tough matchups and very little value in the lower tier, so I will be using a couple of mid-tier players here and then load up at the winger position. The veteran center fits the mold today as he has been a better player this season in his home barn. In his last four home games, the former Stanley Cup Champion has two goals and five assists, and this season he has averaged just under three shots per game. Normally, Staal would be a GPP only play for me on both sites, but with slim pickings today, he is playable in all formats against an average Vegas defense.
Stack with: Nino Niederreiter, Jason Zucker (PP), Charlie Coyle (PP)
Also Consider: William Karlsson (VEG) GPP only.

The Great Eight is a streaky player when it comes to scoring, but one thing that he offers on any given night is safety as he leads the league with 117 shots, but he also has a huge ceiling as he leads the league with 18 goals and he has scored five in his last three games while firing a whopping 16 shots on goal. The future Hall of Fame winger is playing like a man possessed and he is my favorite overall play today in every single format. Fade at your own risk.
Stack with: Nicklas Backstrom, T.J. Oshie (PP)

Johnny Hockey and the Flames have struggled mightily in their last two games, but I believe that we can ignore those performances as the Coyotes and their league-worst defense(3.59 goals allowed per game) travel to town this evening. The young star has had a terrific season so far as he is second in the league with 23 assists and third in points with 34 and he has six multi-point performances in his last ten games. He averages just under three shots per game this season and he has only two in his last two games, but with how terrible Arizona is, I think that we can ignore his lack of shots. Gaudreau is an elite GPP play today and we can also consider him in cash game formats.
Stack with: Sean Monahan, Michael Ferland

Please hear me out before you want to throw something through your computer screen. Who is this guy you may ask? Well, he happens to play on the top line in Toronto with a guy you may have heard of who goes by the name Auston Matthews. The young winger doesn't see any powerplay time, but he is on the ice for almost the entire time during every single penalty that the Leafs kill and he has averaged 17 minutes of ice-time this season. Hyman has a goal, two assists, six shots, and two blocks in his last three games, so he makes for a great value play in any format today against the Oilers and their fifth-worst defense.
Stack with: Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner
Also Consider: Patrick Kane (CHI)

This guy has been flying way under the radar lately as he plays in Arizona who happens to be a very bad hockey team, but hey at least it's warm down there in the winter. The veteran point-man has been playing like a forward lately as he has four goals and three assists during a six-game point streak to go along with 26 shots and 14 blocks in his last seven games while averaging around 25 minutes of ice-time per game. Calgary has been struggling lately, so lock and load Ekman-Larsson in all formats.

To finish things off we present you with some value at the defense position and Montreal has already announced that Shea Weber will not play today, so Petry will be out there for almost half of the game again. The Habs are playing Ottawa at the time of this writing, but the former Oiler has a goal, an assist, two shots, and seven blocks in his last two games and he has been skating on the #1 powerplay unit for the Habs. You may want to use his teammate Jordie Benn over at DraftKings at only $3100, but Petry is the cheaper play on FanDuel.

Thoughts on EDM going to back-up? Andersen is solid against west-coast! Cash viable with shots and record against west coast. What do you think?
Hey Danny, yes Edmonton have Broissoit playing because Talbot is out for a couple of weeks. I think Andersen is a strong tournament play, but I don't think there's any reason to go away from Rinne in cash games where he is undefeated on home ice and Vancouver isn't good offensively.
