What We Know

Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry will not play against the Kings

At least we got some clarification here. Nearly the Warriors roster was questionable to enter the day, so it's nice to have things in order for the most part by 4:30. We're still waiting on Iggy news, but know KD + Steph will miss and Draymond will play. With the 2 superstars out, it puts 4 or 5 guys in play as elite options. On the more expensive end, Draymond and Klay are both firmly in play. They will each see 5-8 extra shots and this could be one of the big games for Klay that he has a few times each year. You then get to some elite value with Omri Casspi and Shaun Livington. Casspi becomes an even better play if Iguodala gets ruled out. You will need to get exposure to this team and there are a lot of different price points to do it at.

Allen Crabbe and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson have been ruled out against the Rockets

DeMarre Carroll remains questionable, so we'll get into things down there. These 2 guys make a big impact on this offense and there is a dramatic impact on the slate. It's just all up in the air if we don't know what's going on with Carroll.

Larry Nance will return from injury and replace Kyle Kuzma in the starting lineup

This just muddies up an already cluttered frontcourt. You can take a shot in tournaments against a weak Clippers paint defense, but are better off staying away on such a deep slate. I doubt either of them see over 32 minutes, if that.

What We're Waiting to Know

Ben Simmons is questionable to play against the Cavs

Obviously 1 of the 2 big pieces of news we're waiting on. I'm sure Simmons wants to suit up against LeBron and the Cavs and he did participate in shootaround. Assuming he plays and isn't on a minutes limit (76ers typically announce these, FYI), Simmons is a phenomenal option in all formats. This game will remain close and the Cavs have no defense behind LeBron. If Simmons happens to miss this game, Everyone on the team will see a slight bump. T.J. McConnell, Robert Covington, and Dario Saric will see the biggest of such. Either way this news breaks, it's an interesting game and one that has a lot of DFS appeal.

Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter are both questionable to sit out another game

These guys missed last game, so we at least know what will happen in that circumstance. Kyle O'Quinn and Michael Beasley would both jump into light as top value plays on the day. If just 1 of them play, I'll be staying away from what should be a cluttered rotation. Porzingis is always interesting in tournaments, but I don't see it as a must on a slate with so many safe options. I would say don't get cut here unless both of them are ruled out.

Victor Oladipo is questionable to play for the Pacers

He means a lot for this offense, so his absence will be huge. If he does play tonight, I'll be staying away from the Pacers. There are just better spots elsewhere. If 'Dipo does miss, then we'll look towards Myles Turner, Lance Stephenson, and Darren Collison to benefit. All would get sizeable boosts and be in play in all formats.

DeMarre Carroll is questionable to play, possibly joining RHJ and Crabbe

With RHJ and Crabbe already ruled out, this is huge news. If Carroll is ruled out, Joe Harris will see a guaranteed 35-45 minutes. You'll also see huge minutes out of Caris LeVert and Sean Kilpatrick. Trevor Booker may also see 5 or 10 if the Rockets stay with Ryan Anderson at the 4. If Carroll plays, Harris and LeVert are still in play. Carroll would be an interesting tournament option on a team with no scorers left, but it's tough to ever trust a guy that's obviously less than 100%. Joe Harris is the one guy from this game that has value no matter what. If Carroll is out, he's a lock for value.

Every Lineup Guys

Shaun Livingston FD - $3000 DK - $
Opponent - SAC
Proj Pts FD - 12.41 DK - 12.26

I don't think this one is all too hard to figure out. With Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant both out, there is a ton of minutes up for grabs at point guard. The Warriors are perfectly comfortable allowing Livingston to run the point. He's a piece of the core at this point and a guy that knows the pace of this team just as well as Steph. He isn't as lethal on the perimter, bit he's an insane scorer inside 10 feet and comes with all the peripherals. It's hard to find anything to dislike here. Livingston is in 100% of my lineups and that will not change. There are some other guys who may get to that status, but we're still waiting on news for them (Casspi, Beasley).

  • Thoughts on Nurkic, Capela? I like both but trust neither. Especially Capela in fast paced games, IDK if thats actually thing or coincidence though?
