Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/26/17

Hello and welcome to another day of daily fantasy hockey and today we have a tiny three-game afternoon slate with the action starting at 1:00 PM et. Let's get started with some picks, shall we?

Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season.

GOALIE

Henrik Lundqvist FD - $8800 DK - $8100
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 13.65 DK - 3.41

King Henrik has been sensational in his last three starts as he has allowed only two goals and in his last two games he has averaged 37 shots against which means that he has seen a lot of rubber flying his way lately giving him big upside. The visiting Canucks rank 23rd offensively with only 2.74 goals scored per game and the Rangers are currently listed as -170 favorites, so Lundqvist is my top goalie in all formats this evening.

Also Consider: Pekka Rinne (NSH) GPP formats only.

CENTERS

Mika Zibanejad FD - $6900 DK - $7300
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 13.75 DK - 4.05

Since Derek Stepan left for Arizona, this young man has taken over as the top center for the Rangers and he has certainly stepped up to the plate. In his last three games, Zibanejad has two goals, an assist, eight shots and five blocks and he has 22 points in 23 games on the season, which makes him a solid play in all formats against an average Canucks defense.

Stack with: Chris Kreider, Pavel Buchnevich

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins FD - $5400 DK - $5700
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 10.69 DK - 3.07

Many of you will wonder why I am not writing about Connor McDavid and it's because while he is obviously a solid play, he will also be very highly owned. Enter Nugent-Hopkins who centers the #2 line and the #2 powerplay unit for the Oilers and he has a respectable eight goals, nine assists, and 51 shots so far this season and he has five multi-point games. Since the Bruins are the home team, they will have the advantage of having the last line change, which means that they will do their very best to shut McDavid and company down and that will open up a ton of ice for Nugent's line. Even in a three-game slate, this guy shouldn't be popular, so lock him and load him into your tournament lineups today folks.

Stack with: Patrick Maroon, Ryan Strome (PP)

Also Consider: Connor McDavid (EDM) Cash games only.

WINGERS

David Pastrnak FD - $6900 DK - $6900
Opponent - EDM
Proj Pts FD - 15.98 DK - 4.71

After being held scoreless for four games, the young forward has a goal, an assist and seven shots in his last two games while averaging 21 minutes of ice-time on the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit for the Bruins. Edmonton is my favorite team to pick on today as they are ranked 26th defensively while allowing 3.30 goals against and they are a complete mess right now, so make sure that you get heavy exposure to Pastrnak and his linemates in all formats today.

Stack with: Patrice Bergeron, Danton Heinen

Filip Forsberg FD - $7700 DK - $6800
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 13.1 DK - 3.88

The veteran winger is very quietly on a seven-game point streak with three goals, seven assists, and 17 shots and he plays on the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit for the Predators. The Hurricanes are ranked a below average 18th in defense, so Forsberg and company should score a few goals today in Carolina and I like him in all formats.

Stack with: Ryan Johansen, Viktor Arvidsson

Also Consider: Teuvo Teravainen (CAR)

DEFENSEMEN

Roman Josi FD - $6000 DK - $6400
Opponent - CAR
Proj Pts FD - 13.39 DK - 4.03

There is no need to pay up for defensemen in cash games, but for your tournament lineups, it would be very wise to have some exposure to Josi as he has one of the highest ceilings for point-men in the league and he plays on the #1 powerplay unit for the Predators. He has two multi-point performances in his last four games while firing 16 shots on goal, so he is a solid play for your GPP lineups.

Brady Skjei FD - $3900 DK - $3700
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 8.59 DK - 2.51

This young guy is one of the reasons why you don't have to pay up at defense in cash games as he has three assists in his last two games and six shots and seven blocks in his last three, so lock him into every one of your cash game lineups in this tiny slate.
