What We Know

Kawhi Leonard, Michael Carter-Williams, Nicolas Batum, and Markieff Morris all remain out today.
These four have run the boards for a combined total of zero minutes this season, so we know the implications of their absence, and how to proceed.

The Kings will rest Zach Randolph & George Hill today.
Sacramento will give their veterans a little R&R tonight in favor of getting a closer look at their younger core of players. This will mean increases in usage for De'Aaron Fox, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Justin Jackson. Jackson in particular could be an intriguing punt play if given plenty of time to run with the starters.

Elfrid Payton remains out for today's contest with the Hornets.
Payton will miss a fourth consecutive contest as he continues to deal with a hamstring sprain. DJ Augustin has been starting in Paytons place during the interim and has averaged 26 minutes and has paid consistent value, though he has shown no upside.

Ersan Ilyasova is out for the Hawks.
Ilyasova has missed two games last week with a strained knee, but returned for 29 minutes in Friday's contest with the Nuggets. The same knee will hold him out once again this afternoon as Atlanta hosts the Bucks. John Collins and Mike Muscala each stand to benefit from the absence of Ilyasova, though both are limited to punt plays for large tournaments.

Myles Turner remains out for the Pacers.
Turner suffered a pretty serious concussion in the season opener against the Nets and is still suffering from the repercussions as he will now miss a fifth straight game with no timetable for his return. Domantas Sabonis has filled in for Turner during his absence and has been a hit or miss play. The Spurs present an average defense at the five so if you need the salary you can consider Sabonis, but there are better plays out there.

What We're Waiting to Know

DeMarre Carroll is questionable to play against Denver today.
Carroll is dealing with a sore right ankle, and though it doesn't seem to be anything serious, the Nets are erring on the side of caution and will see how Caroll feels following shoot around before making a determination on his status tonight.

Every Lineup Guys

Giannis Antetokounmpo FD - $12400 DK - $12300
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 61.14 DK - 61.19
Kevin Durant FD - $10500 DK - $9800
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 52.97 DK - 52.89
In last night's picks article James did a nice little piece at the small forward spot spotlighting these two guys as well as LeBron and made it clear the system was screaming to pay up at the three for extreme value today. In the early runs of the optimizer, ABC, and KD, both appear in each and every one of the top twenty-five lineups generated and it plays on James' point. If you want safety pay up for Giannis, if you can't afford Giannis pay up for James, if you can't afford either pay up for Durant. Well, it'll be hard to fit Giannis and James together, but our optimizer has at least twenty-five different ways of pairing Durant and Alphabet while still finding excellent plays in other spots. Durant and Giannis are both in solid match ups though KD does come with some blowout risk, but as I've stated before, Durant can usually find a way to pay value regardless of how out of hand the game may get. Make it rain at small forward, then find your value elsewhere.

Skal Labissiere FD - $5000 DK - $4400
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 32.22 DK - 32.49
Such as at power forward. Skal Labassiere FanDuel price has been on the rise constantly this season while maintaining a steady decline on DraftKings. In both cases he is still coming in at a great value, particularly with Z-Bo already ruled out for rest. Skal has Paid at or just below 5X at this price in each contest to date and the Wizards have been just terrible defending the four to start the season. Skal is an excellent way to fit the two gentlemen above into your lineups without sacrificing value at the surrounding positions.
