Minnesota Twins vs. Jordan Zimmermann(DET)

We start out the night by targeting our old friend Jordan Zimmerman. He returns tonight after spending nearly a month on the disabled list with a neck issue and was putting up career worst numbers before going down. In 27 starts, he posted a 6.18 ERA, 5.49 xFIP all while striking out under six batters per nine and giving up over a home run per start. The only bad news here is that he isn't likely to be getting a full workload but don't worry as the Tigers sit with the worst bullpen ERA(5.40) in the league. The Twins have a lot to play for down the stretch as they are holding onto a 1.5 game lead in the Wildcard(as of Wednesday afternoon). They will look to rely on their bats who have cooled down a bit recently but have been a Top 3 team over the last couple weeks and sit tied with 25 home runs in that time.

Top Hitters to Stack: Brian Dozier, Eddie Rosario, Eduardo Escobar, Joe Mauer

Colorado Rockies vs. Clayton Richard(SD)

While I don't normally target the Rockies from a stacking perspective when they are on the road, they have a lot of things going in their favor tonight. It starts with a matchup vs. Clayton Richard who has faced this Rockies team three times this season giving up 18 earned runs over 15.1 innings pitched. He has kept the ball in the park(2 HR) vs. the Rockies but overall sits with an ugly 19.7% HR/FB and 34.4% hard contact rate for the season. The park factor is also a downgrade and the main reason the Rockies gap is so big on the road but they crush left-handed pitching to the tune of a .342 wOBA and a .191 Isolated Power. The bonus is that they will be lower owned on the road and the upside vs. a southpaw is more than enough to take the risk in tournaments in a pitcher's park.

Top hitters to Stack: Nolan Arenado, Trevor Story, Charlie Blackmon, DJ LeMahieu
