This isn’t a “sleeper” article so we’ll lead off with the top projected WR on the slate. He didn’t make our cash game article because of the price and Julio’s tendency over the last couple of seasons to almost disappear from games. That was the case in Week 1 in which he finished with a 4/66 line on 5 measly targets. It was an inauspicious start for arguably one of the top 3 WRs in the league. But Julio’s issue (and it was the problem last year) is complete inconsistency in his week-to-week performances. He was one of the most volatile wide outs in the league last year and had extreme peaks and valleys in his performances. That makes him a concern for cash game structures where you are often paying top dollar for a player who doesn’t locked in targets each game. But the Falcons are in a fantastic spot here at home in a game that should be a shootout. He’s a clear GPP target and that isn’t going out on a limb, but I’d caution against using him in “safer” contests.

When healthy, Allen has one of the some of the best per game target numbers you’ll seen. “When healthy” is the operative term here though because he played only one half of the first game last season before going down with a torn ACL (though I should note he was 6/63 on 7 targets in that half). He came back and picked up right where he left off in the target department in Week 1, leading the team with 10 though he only converted it to a 5/35 game. But that was against a tough Denver defense secondary of Aqib Talib and Chris Harris. The Dolphins don’t have anything close to that kind of one-on-one coverage on the outside and Allen should lead the team in targets again. He’s a cash game play and GPP target as well paired with Rivers.

Man Sam Bradford looked good in Week 1 and by extension so did both of these guys. Bradford was the most accurate passer in the league last season (71.6%) but the Vikings lacked the running game to sustain any real drives in the aggregate. That’s not the case with Dalvin Cook and if Week 1 was any indication, the addition of the ground attack is going to further open up the field for Thielen and Diggs. They shredded the Saints’ defense to a combined 16/250 with Diggs scoring two TDs and Thielen putting up 157 yards. Sure, the Steelers’ D is better than the Saints, but the Vikings could be playing catchup in this game as the underdog and both of these guys have upside in the PPR game. Thielen is a borderline cash play because of the lower prices on both sites.

Sanu isn't a sexy pick by any means, but there's some to like especially in PPR formats. He led the team in targets Week 1 with 9 for a 6/47. He's not a downfield threat, but does draw Ryan's attention when Jones is locked in double teams. Last season, Sanu's best game came against the Packers when he put up a 9/84/1 on 10 targets. They will look his way in the red zone (third on the team last season with 12 RZ targets) but that isn't where his bread is buttered making the touchdown how he hits his upside. I love Sanu as a separation play this week considering much of the GPP field will be on Jones.
